The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards nominees have been announced! HBO leads with 9 (down from its 15 from last year) nominations. Starz, Netflix and Showtime followed with 6 (Showtime had 8 last year). NBC and CBS lead the broadcast nominees with 5 each this year followed by ABC's 4 and Fox with 3. House of Cards was the most nominated television series with 4 this year, while Breaking Bad, The Good Wife had 3 each. The Big Bang Theory (CBS)
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox)
Girls (HBO)
Modern Family (ABC)
Parks & Recreation (NBC)
COMMENTS: A rookie makes the cut: Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but surprised no New Girl again this year. Modern Family should win it.

Zooey Deschanel, New Girl (Fox)
Lena Dunham, Girls (HBO)
Edie Falco, Nurse Jackie (HBO)
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, The Veep (HBO)

COMMENTS: A legend returns! Michael J. Fox!

BEST TELEVISION SERIES – DRAMA
The Good Wife (CBS)
Breaking Bad (AMC)
Downton Abbey (PBS)

Kerry Washington, Scandal (ABC)
Tatiana Maslany, Orphan Black (BBC America)
Julianna Margulies, The Good Wife (CBS)
Taylor Schilling, Orange is the New Black (Netflix)

James Spader, The Blacklist (NBC)
Bryan Cranston, Breaking Bad (AMC)
Kevin Spacey, House of Cards (Netflix)
Michael Sheen, Masters of Sex (Showtime)

Janet McTeer, White Queen (mini-series) (Starz)

Rob Lowe, Behind the Candelabra (mini-series) (HBO)
Aaron Paul, Breaking Bad (AMC)
Corey Stoll, House of Cards (Netflix)
Jon Voight, Ray Donovan (Showtime)
