Sitcoms Return on Hallmark Channel January 2011; Boy Meets World Season 4 DVD Contest; New JustMyShow.com Podcast

The Hallmark Channel enduring comedies return after a holiday break in January 2011! The sitcoms have been on hiatus since airing last on Friday, Nov. 12. Holiday movies have been airing non-stop (except during the Martha at Home block and one airing of Little House on the Prairie every weekday) since Nov. 13 and continues through Jan 2. The Golden Girls airs as filler on Sunday, Jan. 2 at 6am and early Monday, Jan. 3 from 5-6am before the sitcoms actually return on Jan. 3. Every weekday starting Monday, Jan. 3, I Love Lucy will air weekdays from 6am-8am, as there is no more paid programming in these two hours. From 8-10am we get a two-hour block of The Golden Girls leading into the Martha at Home block from 10am-3pm. Then from 3-6pm we get three airings of the classic family drama Little House on the Prairie, as currently it is only airing at 3pm. Returning to the schedule in its 6pm-8pm slots will be the '80s sitcom Who's the Boss?, of course leading into the primetime airing of family drama Little House on the Prairie at 8pm. After a movie at 9pm, the sitcom late night block returns with The Golden Girls encore from 11pm-1am, Cheers from 1am-4am, and Who's the Boss? encore from 4-6am.
On weekends, we have The Golden Girls from 6am-9am on both days, followed by movies until 1am usually on Saturday as then we have more The Golden Girls from 1am-4am followed by Who's the Boss? from 4am-6am. On Sundays, the movies air until 11pm usually, followed by The Golden Girls from 11pm-2am, then I Love Lucy from 2am-4am and Who's the Boss? from 4am-6am.
As for the Martha at Home block, Petkeeping with Marc Marrone joins the Hallmark Channel schedule weekdays at 12 noon & 12:30pm, effective Monday, January 3. Martha Bakes also joins the Hallmark Channel, every Friday at 12 noon & 12:30pm, starting Friday, January 28, so by then Petkeeping with Marc Marrone will be Mon-Thurs in these slots. Some in the first quarter, talk show Whatever With Alexis & Jennifer will return and air Saturdays at 11pm, replacing a movie. This will be followed by back-to-back episodes of Whatever, Martha at 12 midnight & 12:30am. No start date has been announced yet. This is going to be a Martha at Home Weekend block, airing Saturday nights from 11pm-1am, but as of now, is not starting in January. Stay with us for information.
Finally, stunts wise, there is a 24-hour Little House on the Prairie marathon starting at 6am on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011. And that's about it...it is good to see the sitcoms return! We will keep you up to date if anything changes or is added. There is no more paid programming now at all on Hallmark!

On Saturday we posted our DVD review of the long-awaited and upcoming DVD Boy Meets World - The Complete Fourth Season, and now we have another treat for you! We have 2 copies of Boy Meets World - The Complete Fourth Season for giveaway thanks to the fine folks at Lionsgate/ABC Studios. Fans have been waiting for this release for a very long time since Buena Vista/ABC Studios announced (and subsequently canceled) the release of it years ago, but now Lionsgate has taken the torch and is continuing to release it (along with their re-releases of the first three seasons, which came in September). To enter, please read our rules and regulations. And then when you do, "like" our Facebook page and enter the contest! Limit only "one" entry per person. Multiple entries from the same Facebook account will be deleted and disqualified. The contest began today (December 6) and ends at the end of Wednesday, December 8 at 11:59:59pm ET. 2 winners will be selected at random and notified by message on Facebook. Winners must respond within 48 hours of being notified with their mailing address or another winner will be contacted. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. For U.S. and Canadian residents only. Got all that? Good. See you on Facebook. Good luck!

Finally, our buddy Eric of Just My Show was at the Big Apple Comic Con and he has made a special podcast from that event. It includes an interview with all three Brady Bunch boys (Barry Williams, Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland) as well at Larry Thomas who played the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld.
Plus WWF Legends Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and The Million Dollar Man's Ted DiBiase...and more on this special podcast! Wow! Sounds great as always. Listen to the podcast!
