TV Land September Highlights, Include Jeffersons Launch and Three's Company Weekend W/Spinoffs and Unaired Pilot; TCA Tour Cable: Day 5

TV Land will give viewers loads of stunts and specials this September, along with a schedule change! First, TV Land will launch their newest show The Jeffersons, with a 72-hour Labor Day Weekends marathon Sept. 2-4. The Jeffersons will air in the new TV Land line-up starting Sept. 5 airing weekdays at 12:30 p.m. and every night at 10:30 p.m. & 1:30 a.m. ET/PT. The mini-marathons from 12-4a and 11a-2p are both gone, which means sitcoms are back during those time periods! Shows like 227, What's Happening!!, and Night Court get regular airings again. TV Land also will air Daniel Boone for four afternoons Sept. 5-8 at 2 p.m. They will also have a 48-hour marathon of the show Aug. 26-27 on-air and it will premiere with three uncut episodes each week on TVLand.com for four weeks.
Stunts include a Three's Company weekend the weekend of Sept. 16-17, that will include both spin-offs--The Ropers & Three's a Crowd, along with an unaired pilot of Three's Company, for the first time on TV Land or on television! TV Land also will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the night Star Trek premiered on Sept. 8 with three classic episodes. And remember Star Trek joins TV Land and TVLand.com starting in November! Like last year, TV Land will encourage families to eat together with a CASA Family Night marathon on Sunday, Sept. 24 from 9-11 p.m., and the following day they will pre-empt programming from 6-7 p.m. to encourage families to eat at that time together. Finally, TV Land will debut its newest original, Generation Boom, a four-part special airing 10-11 p.m. from Sept. 26-29. Baby boomers will for sure want to tune in for that!

ET/PT. Every Thursday at 8 P.M., Court TV will air a recently-produced feature film in the crime and investigation genre from Turner's vast library, with a line-up that includes action, drama and comedy.
