And finally we now have all the fall 2015 premiere dates because Fox has just announced their dates! The 2015-2016 season begins with the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards, airing LIVE coast-to-coast from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 20 (8:00-11:00 PM ET live/5:00-8:00 PM PT live). The special will be hosted by Emmy(R) Award-winning writer, actor and comedian Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine). The stakes are higher than ever as Gotham explores the origin stories of some of the most ambitious and depraved Super Villains, including The Riddler, The Joker and Mr. Freeze, and Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) uncovers more secrets from his father's past, in the Season Two debut on Monday, Sept. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by the series premiere of futuristic crime drama Minority Report (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Award-winning executive producers Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan meld comedy, mystery and horror in Scream Queens, which debuts with a special, two-hour series premiere event on Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT. On Tuesday, Sept. 29 the series will make its time period premiere (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). On Tuesday, Sept. 29, new comedies Grandfathered (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) and The Grinder (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) kick-off an all-new Tuesday. Grandfathered is a coming-of-middle-age story starring John Stamos (Full House) as the ultimate bachelor whose life is turned upside down when he discovers he's not only a father, but a grandfather. The Grinder, starring Emmy Award nominee Rob Lowe (Parks and Recreation) and Emmy Award and Golden Globe nominee Fred Savage (The Wonder Years), follows a famous TV lawyer (Lowe) who is going from show business... to the family business.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of one of the world's hottest cities - Miami - new medical procedural Rosewood premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). The series stars Morris Chestnut as the city's top private pathologist. Empire returns at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT. The series will pick up three months after the shocking arrest and incarceration of Empire Entertainment head (Terrence Howard). The fun returns to Sundays beginning Sept. 27, with the season premieres of Emmy Award-winning comedy Bob's Burgers (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT), the unprecedented 27th season of The Simpsons (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), the Golden Globe-winning live-action comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), the 13th season of Family Guy (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) and the critically acclaimed live-action comedy The Last Man On Earth (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT). The CW Network will launch its 2015-16 season in October, featuring the sophomore debuts of the network's highest-rated series The Flash and the award-winning and critically acclaimed comedy Jane the Virgin, as well as the series premiere of its freshman comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Once again, The CW will kick off the fall with the exclusive television broadcast of the iHeartRadio Music Festival, airing over two nights, Tuesday, September 29 (8:00-10:00pm ET) and Wednesday, September 30 (8:00-10:00pm ET). The CW's most-watched series ever, The Flash, returns for its second season Tuesday, October 6 (8:00-9:00pm ET), followed by the brainy zom-com iZombie (9:00-10:00pm ET). Wednesday nights are action-packed, with the fourth season of Arrow bowing Wednesday, October 7 (8:00-9:00pm ET), followed by the demon-hunting Winchester brothers in Supernatural (9:00-10:00pm ET). Thursdays have a new bite starting Thursday, October 8 with The Vampire Diaries (8:00-9:00pm ET) followed by The Originals on a new night (9:00-10:00pm ET).

Royalty returns on Friday, October 9 with Reign (8:00-9:00pm ET) on a new night, followed by Cycle 22 of America's Next Top Model (9:00-10:00PM ET). America's Next Top Model moves from Wednesdays to Fridays beginning October 2. The new one-hour comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, starring Rachel Bloom as an unhappy lawyer who quits her job and moves across the country in search of love, with her inner monologue providing irreverent musical interludes, premieres Monday, October 19 (8:00-9:00pm ET), followed by AFI and Peabody Award winning series Jane the Virgin, starring Golden Globe-winner Gina Rodriguez, returning at 9:00-10:00pm ET.

USA Network announced a second season pickup of the captivating one-hour original drama series Mr. Robot, ahead of the series premiere last night at 10/9c. This buzzy breakout series has already received significant critical acclaim, prestigious industry honors and has garnered nearly 3 million views in its unprecedented pre-linear launch across a wide array of digital platforms. The second season, which will include a minimum of 10 episodes, will air in 2016. Mr. Robot follows Elliot (Rami Malek), a young programmer who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and as a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot finds himself at a crossroads when the mysterious leader (Christian Slater) of an underground hacker group recruits him to destroy the firm he is paid to protect. Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs he believes are running (and ruining) the world. The series also stars Portia Doubleday (Her), Carly Chaikin (Suburgatory) and Martin Wallstrom (Simple Simon).

TV Land is rebranding and recreating its look with a new logo and a complete overhaul of the network's brand identity to complement a slate of new, original programming. The rebrand debuted on the linear channel yesterday. The new look of the network reflects the three tenets of TV Land's reinvention: quality, cleverness, and truth. This new branding also strives to be more authentic, raw and emotive. With Darren Star's critically-acclaimed Younger – which just wrapped its first season with record growth numbers for the network – TV Land's brand reinvention began, moving towards original programming that is more serialized, takes more risks and reflects the life experiences of the Gen X viewer. That evolution continues with the network's new series premiering this summer – The Jim Gaffigan Show, starring comedian, actor and New York Times best-selling author Jim Gaffigan, and Impastor, a dark comedy starring Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville) and Sara Rue (Less Than Perfect) – and with season two of Younger, as well as the launch of Teachers from Chicago improv group The Katydids. TV Land also recently announced a script deal with Emmy®-winning producers John Wells and John Riggi for a single-camera period comedy project inspired by the life of Kyle Richards (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills).

Actor Dick Van Patten, who was best known for his role as patriarch Tom Bradford in Eight Is Enough, has died. He died on June 23 at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California. The cause of death was listed as complications from diabetes. Mr. Van Patten was 86.

Van Patten's television career began with his role as Nels Hansen in the 1949-1956 CBS comedy-drama Mama. The series was about a Norwegian family of five living in San Francisco in the 1910s. It starred Peggy Wood, Judson Laure, Rosemary Rice, Iris Mann (1949), Robin Morgan (1950-1956) and Ruth Gates.

He starred as Sgt. Nelson Higgenbottom in the 1971-1972 NBC sitcom The Partners. The series was about a pair of bumbling detectives. It starred Don Adams, Rupert Crosse, John Doucette and Robert Karvelas. He later had a recurring role as a soap opera producer Max Mathias in the third season of The New Dick Van Dyke Show in 1973-1974. In 1975, he starred as Friar Tuck in the critically acclaimed but short-lived sitcom ABC sitcom When Things Were Rotten, which was created by Mel Brooks.

Van Patten starred as the father, Tom Bradford, in the 1977-1981 ABC comedy-drama Eight Is Enough. The series was about a newspaper columnist for the fictional Sacramento Register and his family with eight children. It starred Diana Hyland (season 1), Betty Buckley (seasons 2-5), Grant Goodeve, Lani O'Grady, Laurie Walters, Susan Richardson, Dianne Kay, Connie Needham, Willie Aames and Adam Rich. Two reunion movies were broadcast on NBC: An Eight Is Enough Reunion on October 18, 1987, and An Eight Is Enough Wedding on October 22, 1989.

Some of his many sitcom guest appearances included I Dream of Jeannie, Arnie, That Girl, Sanford and Son, The Doris Day Show, Love, American Style, The Love Boat, Maude, What's Happening!!, One Day at a Time, Happy Days, The Facts of Life, Growing Pains, Arrested Development and Hot in Cleveland. He starred as weatherman Floyd Graham in the CBS drama WIOU in 1990-1991.

Van Patten's film credits included Charly, Joe Kidd, Snowball Express and Soylent Green. He appeared in several films directed by Mel Brooks, including High Anxiety, Spaceballs and Robin Hood: Men in Tights. He was interviewed for American Masters – Mel Brooks: Make A Noise (2013) on June 6, 2012.

The Archive of American Television conducted an extensive interview with him on May 11, 2011.

Survivors include his wife Pat Van Patten, whom he was married to for more than 60 years, and three sons: Vincent, Nels and Jimmy.

Mr. Van Patten was a talented and versatile actor. Tom Bradford was one of the best TV dads. We thank him for the many hours of entertainment he brought us. He will be greatly missed.

NBC has announced premiere dates for its fall schedule, which includes the return of Sunday Night Football, The Voice, new live series Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris, new dramas Blindspot, Heroes Reborn and Chicago Med, and new comedy People Are Talking. First up, Sunday Night Football begins on a special night on Thursday, Sept. 10 when the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers (8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT). Three days later on Sept. 13, Sunday Night Football travels to Dallas as the Cowboys play their NFC East rivals the New York Giants (8:20 p.m. ET/5:20 p.m. PT). The game will be preceded by the season premiere of "Football Night in America" (7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT). The premiere of the new live alternative series Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris will air Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 10 p.m. following the Tuesday season finale of America's Got Talent. The musical competition series The Voice, with coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani, begins its ninth season Monday, Sept. 21 (8-10 p.m.).

The Voice will be followed by the heart-racing new Greg Berlanti-produced drama Blindspot (10-11 p.m.), which stars Jaimie Alexander as a beautiful Jane Doe who is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. Wednesday, Sept. 23 marks the return of dramas The Mysteries of Laura (8-9 p.m.) and a special two-hour Law & Order: SVU (9-11 p.m.), which begins its 17th season on NBC. Two drama series premiere and the returning series The Blacklist return on Thursday, Sept. 24. The reboot Heroes Reborn (8-9 p.m.), from creator Tim Kring, continues the superheroes saga that began with the 2006 breakout series. The third season of The Blacklist, returns to its 9 p.m. timeslot. The Player (10-11 p.m.), starring Wesley Snipes, is a Las Vegas-set action-packed thriller about a former military operative turned security expert who is drawn into a high-stakes game where an organization of wealthy individuals gamble on his ability to stop some of the biggest crimes imaginable from playing out.

From iconic Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf, the third season of Chicago P.D. debuts Wednesday, Sept. 30 (10-11 p.m.). Live episodes of Undateable will begin Friday, Oct. 9 with a special hourlong telecast (8-9 p.m.). NBC's new comedy People Are Talking, about two diverse couples who analyze and obsess about everything, will launch a week later, Friday, Oct. 16 (8:30-9 p.m.). The fifth season of Friday night staple Grimm begins Oct. 30 (9-10 p.m.). The fourth season of Chicago Fire debuts Tuesday, Oct. 13 and will air 10-11 p.m. Finally, Chicago Med, the newest Windy City drama from Wolf, will make its series premiere Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 10 p.m. before shifting to 9 p.m. the following week.

Life's most pressing questions will be answered when Why? With Hannibal Buress premieres Wednesday, July 8 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, after an all-new Key & Peele. The weekly, half-hour topical series will celebrate Buress' hilariously brilliant off-beat voice and point-of-view. If it's in the zeitgeist, Buress will address it, providing his unique perspective each week, answering the burning questions on his mind through stand-up, filmed segments, man-on-the-street interviews and special, in-studio guests. Through the eight-episode season, Why? With Hannibal Buress will be shot in front of a studio audience and each episode will tape the same week it airs. The expanded world of Why? With Hannibal Buress goes beyond the television. Episodes of Why? We have more Viacom wheeling and dealing. The sitcom The Bernie Mac Show is now on MTV2. It was previously seen on Centric and before that on BET a few years back. The Bernie Mac Show also recently started airing on the digital multicast network Bounce TV. As for MTV2, of course the series will not have a set timeslot, but you can catch it in multiple blocks throughout the week. Bernie Mac joins the MTV2 line-up which has other sitcoms in block programming like The Wayans Bros, Jamie Foxx Show, Boy Meets World, Everybody Hates Chris, My Wife & Kids, Smart Guy and Martin. The series is based on the comedy of Bernie Mac. In the series, a stand-up comedian and his wife take in his sister's three kids, while celebrity guests drop by occasionally to offer Bernie advice.

Netflix has ordered Lady Dynamite, a new original comedy series starring actor and comedian Maria Bamford. The series is based on what she has accepted to be "her life." The occasionally surreal episodes, refracted across multiple periods inspired by the actor/comedian's life, tell the story of a woman who loses - and then finds - her s**t. Pam Brady, Mitch Hurwitz and Maria Bamford are executive producers on the single camera comedy series. Thirteen, 30-minute episodes of the single camera comedy series have been ordered.
