• We mentioned last month that MPI would be re-releasing My Favorite Martian - Season One on DVD on June 24. Now, TVShowsOnDVD.com has a list of special features, which looks a lot better than the original release from Rhino.
• CBS is preparing to release even more Perry Mason made-for-TV movies on DVD on August 5, as they release Perry Mason - Movie Collection, Volume 3. The three disc set will contain six more movies from the franchise, and it comes at a $59.98 MSRP.
• We've mentioned time and time again that The Wonder Years will be coming out on DVD later this year, and StarVista is trying to make the best possible release... which is why they're wanting fans to come up with questions to ask for a cast interview. You can post your questions for the cast here, and if your question is good enough, it may be answered on the DVD release.

• The Bob Newhart Show - The Complete Series (DVD, $129.99): Shout! Factory gives fans this long awaited release, which (finally) wraps up the classic TV series on DVD.

Claim to Fame: Kirstie Alley was first introduced to TV viewers in a very unremarkable way, as a game show contestant on both Match Game and Password Plus. In the early 80s, she had many movie roles and TV guest appearances, but she became rather well known by 1987 when she appeared in the classic film Summer School in June and joined the cast of Cheers in September. She later went on to the series Veronica's Closet and a slew of reality series, but has found her way back into the sitcom world on TV Land with her current series, Kirstie.

The series premiere of FX's newest 10/90 comedy, Partners starring Martin Lawrence (Martin) and Kelsey Grammer (Frasier, Cheers), has been set for Monday, August 4. FX will air two back-to-back episodes of the show from 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT for five consecutive weeks. Also beginning August 4, Anger Management will move to Mondays and air back-to-back episodes from 10:00-11:00 PM ET/PT immediately following Partners. Previously Partners was titled Braddock & Jackson.

In Partners, Grammer and Lawrence play two Chicago lawyers from vastly different backgrounds who unexpectedly meet in court as they each face a personal crisis. Marcus Jackson (Lawrence) is a kind-hearted community activist going through a heartbreaking divorce when he meets Allen Braddock (Grammer), an elitist lawyer who has just been fired from his father's firm. Brought together by fate and desperation, they develop a partnership and friendship, forcing each other to find the balance between the ethical and the unscrupulous in both their professional and personal lives. Other series regulars include Telma Hopkins, Rory O'Malley, McKaley Miller, Edi Patterson and Danièle Watts. Bob Boyett and Robert Horn serve as Executive Producers and Showrunners. Executive Producers also include Martin Lawrence, Kelsey Grammer, Brian Sher, Stella Bulochnikov, Michael Green and Sam Maydew. The series is produced by Lionsgate Television in association with Grammnet NH Productions and You Go Boy Productions. It is distributed by Debmar-Mercury.

FX ordered 10 episodes of Partners as part of a unique syndication model crafted by Debmar-Mercury for multiple sitcoms. As is standard with the 10/90 model, if the series meets designated ratings thresholds over its first 10-episode run, the network will trigger an additional 90-episode order. If that happens, we will of course let you know...but for now enjoy the test run of 10 episodes! As of now, FX has not ordered the back 90 of its last 10/90 comedy, Saint George, starring George Lopez.

Fox will air the final four episodes of its freshman series Enlisted, which was canceled. The comedy will air Sundays at 7pm beginning June 1 for four weeks to finish out if remaining original episodes. It will replace Bob's Burgers in the time period for a month. A military-set family comedy, Enlisted stars Geoff Stults (October Road), Chris Lowell (Veronica Mars) and Parker Young (Suburgatory) as three brothers who, when the best of the best are sent overseas, stay behind to try to keep the post in order. The series also stars Emmy Award winner Keith David (Cloud Atlas) and Angelique Cabral (Friends with Benefits). Enlisted was pulled after 9 episodes due to low ratings, so now its remaining four episodes will be burned off. The series aired on Fridays nights on Fox.

It's almost time for a holiday and that means a classic TV marathon on New York's WLNY! One of the most beloved comedies in television history will have you laughing on Monday, May 26, when WLNY-TV (Channels 10/55) presents the Who's the Boss? marathon from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. This classic sitcom stars Tony Danza as Tony Micelli, a housekeeper for Angela Bower, an advertising executive played by Judith Light. The marathon will culminate in primetime with the 1989 "Party Double" episode, when Tony and Mona compete with each other to be Angela's guest at an exclusive party where Frank Sinatra sings, airing at 5:30 pm and the 1989 "In Search of Tony" episode, when Angela and Tony try to prove they can have fun without each other during a family vacation in Jamaica, airing at 6:30 pm.

WLNY's Who's the Boss? marathon will also feature the 1987 "Two on a Billboard" episode, where Tony spends 48 hours on a billboard for a national reading campaign (3:00 pm) and the 1988 "The Matriculator" episode when Tony encourages his daughter Sam (played by Alyssa Milano) to consider higher-education after high school, but he eventually decides to attend college himself (3:30 pm), and the entertaining 1988 "Sleep Talk, Sweet Talk" episode, when the entire household hears Angela loudly call Tony's name in her sleep as she declares her love for him (4:00 pm). It's a brand new life, indeed!

Today we preview the new sitcoms announced for the 2014-15 season. There will be nine new sitcoms on the fall schedule. Three are traditional multi-camera sitcoms. Six are single-camera comedies. Ten additional sitcoms have been ordered for mid-season. They include seven single-camera comedies, two multi-camera sitcoms, and one animated comedy from Fox.

ABC leads the way with four new comedies on their fall schedule. Three are multi-camera. Their only new multi-camera sitcom Cristela will air on Fridays. They have two single-camera comedies for mid-season. Top-rated CBS will have only one new multi-camera sitcom on Thursdays in the fall. They also have The Odd Couple, a multi-camera sitcom starring Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon, for mid-season. Fox has only one new multi-camera sitcom airing on Sundays. They have two single-camera comedies and one animated series for mid-season. NBC offers three new single-camera comedies in the fall. They have one multi-camera and three single-camera comedies for mid-season.

Loosely based on My Fair Lady, Selfie explores the modern struggles of Eliza and Henry, as he tries to teach her how to live life offline-whether she 'likes' it or not.

Selfie was written by Emily Kapnek and directed by Julie Anne Robinson, who also serve as executive producers. Selfie is produced by Piece of Pie Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Cristela - Fridays at 8:30PM ET/PT on ABC (Multi-Camera)

Fresh Off the Boat - Mid-Season on ABC (Single-Camera)

It's the 90s and 11 year old, hip-hop loving Eddie (Hudson Yang) just moved to suburban Orlando from DC's Chinatown with his parents (Randall Park and Constance Wu). It's culture shock for his immigrant family in this comedy about pursuing the American Dream. Fresh Off the Boat is based on Chef Eddie Huang's memoir Fresh Off the Boat.

Fresh Off the Boat was written by Nahnatchka Khan, who also serves as executive producer, along with Jake Kasdan. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television. Eddie Huang is a producer.

Galavant - Mid-Season on ABC (Single-Camera)

Screenwriter/executive producer Dan Fogelman (Crazy, Stupid, Love, Tangled, Cars) teams up with Broadway and Hollywood award-winning musical team-composer Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast) and lyricist Glenn Slater (Tangled) - for a musical comedy fairytale of epic proportions. Once upon a time, the dashing hero, Galavant (Joshua Sasse), lost the love of his life, Madalena (Mallory Jansen), to the evil King Richard (Timothy Omundson). Now, our fallen hero is ready to take revenge and restore his "happily ever after." But it won't be without a few twists and turns along the way.

The McCarthys is a multi-camera comedy about a loud, sports-crazed Boston family whose somewhat athletically challenged son, Ronny (Tyler Ritter), is chosen by his father to be his assistant high school basketball coach, much to the surprise of his more qualified siblings. Ronny wants nothing more than to move away, join the singles scene and find a partner. His distraught mother, Marjorie (Laurie Metcalf), is not upset that her favorite son is gay, but that he wants to leave Boston and his family. Ronny's plans change, however, when his politically incorrect and outspoken father, Arthur (Jack McGee), stuns everyone with his choice for an assistant. Touched by his father’s offer, Ronny embarks on a completely different future – and he can be sure that his loving, tight-knit family is going to have a very vocal opinion about it. Jimmy Dunn, Joey McIntyre and Kelen Coleman also star.

Lou may be John's entrée into the world of big-money show business, but he's also a total nightmare. Still, the job represents everything Mulaney thinks he wants. But does he really? Mulaney's life becomes a tug-of-war between the stress of his new job and his guilt over not being there for his two best friends and roommates: Jane (Nasim Pedrad, Saturday Night Live), a tightly wound, yet directionless personal trainer; and Motif (Seaton Smith, Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell), a powerhouse comic who shares nothing in common with Mulaney – except the world of stand-up. Rounding out this odd group of friends is Andre (Zack Pearlman, The Inbetweeners), a trust-fund baby who has a knack for showing up in Mulaney's life at the worst possible moments.

If Mulaney has one refuge from the chaos that surrounds him, then it's his neighbor, Oscar (Academy Award nominee Elliott Gould, M*A*S*H, The Long Goodbye, the Oceans 11 franchise), a 71-year-old gay veteran of New York who has seen it all. Oscar is opinionated, refined, gentle, wise and sometimes extremely cantankerous, but most of all, he's an oracle of sound advice when Mulaney feels like life has gone off the rails. A unique mix of ensemble comedy, stand-up performances and an observational point-of-view, Mulaney is a show about the big questions in life: how hard they are to answer and how easy it is to maybe just ignore them and pray they go away.

Now, in his RV, Phil searches the country for other survivors. He has traveled to every city, every town and every outpost in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and has found no one, which leads him to the painful realization that he is almost certainly the last living being on the face of the earth.

Sure, there are some positives that come with being the last person on earth. You can go live in the White House if you want. You can park in handicapped spots without an ounce of guilt. You can decorate your home with priceless works of art. You wanna wear a pair of tighty-whiteys and nothing else every single day of the year? Not a problem.

The Last Man on Earth is a comedy about a man trying to make lemonade out of the most soul-crushing lemon there is. But if anyone can do it, Phil Miller can. He's not about to give up now. He is sad and so, so very lonely. But he'll get through this. Because there's a small kernel of hope that somewhere out there is another survivor. And maybe one day, they'll run into each other. That would be a good day. And if that survivor happened to be a woman? Well, then that would be a great day.

Weird Loners - Mid-Season on Fox (Single-Camera)

Weird Loners is a new single-camera comedy about four relationship-phobic, quasi-underdog 30-somethings who are unexpectedly thrust into one another's lives, forming unlikely bonds in a Queens, NY, townhouse.

Caryn Goldfarb (Becki Newton, Ugly Betty) is a cute, but high-strung dental hygienist whose romantic life, unfortunately, is dictated by the love-crazed, ultra-romantic 13-year-old barricaded inside the control room of her brain. Each time a handsome new man crosses her field of vision, infatuation and extreme over-eagerness take over, and she inevitably winds up back at square one – single and not getting any younger.

Wall Street player – that is, until he romances his boss' fiancée and gets unceremoniously canned – Stosh Lewandoski(Zachary Knighton, Happy Endings) is handsome, charming and whip-smart. He's a serial seducer who has never been able to maintain an intimate relationship with a woman for very long – a couple of hours, usually.

When Stosh's shenanigans result in him losing his corporate condo, he winds up moving in with his cousin, Eric Lewandoski (Nate Torrence, Hello, Ladies), a sweet, odd man-child. Thus far, Eric's adult life has consisted of living at home with elderly parents and working as a toll collector on the Queensboro Bridge. After both of his parents pass away, he finds himself cast adrift in the world for the first time.

On a Stosh-mandated mission to redecorate their dated apartment, Eric strikes up a friendship with Zara Sandhu (newcomer Meera Rohit Khumbhani), while buying one of her paintings on the street. Drop-dead gorgeous, mysterious and ethereal, Zara is a lifelong heartbreaker who's only capable of living one way – “in the moment.” Men and women fall in love with her on a regular basis, and she often reciprocates their feelings with great passion, until… she doesn't.

As fate would have it, Eric lives next door to Caryn, who finds herself unable to resist one of Stosh's particularly ill-timed advances, putting the kibosh on her pending engagement to a kind, but boring, father of two. The split leaves her single, again, and in need of a roommate, prompting Zara to move in, and bringing together these four people who, each for their own distinct reasons, are solo singles when most of their peers are well along the path of marriage and family. Perhaps they are “weird loners,” as Stosh points out, or maybe they are just real people with messy, imperfect lives whose new friendships with each other already are changing their individual trajectories for the better. Bordertown - Mid-Season on Fox (Animated)

Bordertown is a new animated comedy about two families living in a Southwest desert town on the U.S. - Mexico border that takes a satirical look at the cultural shifts occurring in America, where the U.S. Census forecasts that by 2017, Caucasians will be a minority. Set against this increasingly diverse backdrop, the series explores family, politics and everything in between with a cross-cultural wink.

Bordertown centers on two clans: the Buckwalds and the Gonzalezes. Bud Buckwald is a married father of three and a Border Patrol agent who is just a tad behind the times and feels slightly threatened by the cultural changes transforming his neighborhood. He lives next door to Ernesto Gonzalez (Nicholas Gonzalez, Sleepy Hollow), an ambitious immigrant and family man, who has been in the country less than 10 years, but is already doing better than Bud – which, it turns out, is a bit of an issue for the less-industrious native.

Bud is married to Janice Buckwald (Alex Borstein, Family Guy), both the wisest and most oblivious member of the family. The Buckwald kids include Becky (Borstein) a socially awkward, big-boned geek; Sanford (Judah Friedlander, 30 Rock), a loser who thinks he's a player; and Gert (Missi Pyle, The Exes, Galaxy Quest), a beauty pageant-obsessed five-year-old with a pet pig. Meanwhile, living the American Dream next door are the Gonzalezes, including Maria, Ernesto's wife; their son, Ruiz (Efren Ramirez, Napoleon Dynamite); and their 21-year-old nephew, J.C. (Nicholas Gonzalez), a recent college graduate.

As Bud and Ernesto's paths begin to cross, their two families soon become bound by romance, conflict and, perhaps most importantly, friendship – a word that means the same, no matter what side of the border you're from.

Yet if history tells us anything, it’s when we really want things to go right that they all tend to go wrong. The only thing we know for sure is these two are destined to be together whether they can get it together or not.

Houston, we have a problem! It doesn’t help that he initially mistakes her for a secretary. Between him, her astronaut boyfriend Cash and her offbeat all-guy team, Mary certainly has her hands full… but at the end of the day, they all want the same thing: to get a man on the moon. It’s an easy gig, right? Throw a DVD in the player, dim the lights and sleep off last night’s party. Yet when he realizes that the kids think his class is an easy A, Craig’s moved to inspire his students. Music is his passion and he’s not about to let anyone sleep though this period … period. The school principal (Jean Smart, Samantha Who?) is a woman who believes that rules were made to be strictly upheld. She’s none too fond of Craig’s unorthodox teaching style, or his crush on the pretty English teacher. If he wants to keep his gig, get the girl and teach these kids the joys of music, he’ll have to buckle down, shape up and rock out.

Soon they’re spending every last minute of her limited time together. Then, just as Lizzy discovers that she’s actually pregnant, Luke announces that he and Prudence got married and a different kind of family is born.

Premiering Sunday, May 25, at 9 PM ET/PT, Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys, from the creators of Sharknado, serves as a frightening reminder that monsters come in all shapes and sizes and can attack when you least expect. Actors Shannen Doherty (Charmed, 90210), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) and Jason Brooks (Days of Our Lives) star in the thriller set in small-town Michigan, where lampreys terrorize the residents, and each dip in the pool or trip to the toilet turns into a life-or-death situation. Looking for their next blood-filled victim, Lampreys, which are eel-like fish with huge-toothed, funnel-like mouths, insinuate their slimy bodies throughout the town's sewer system. There is absolutely nowhere to run, and no one is safe. When are they going to strike next? Who's the next victim? The only thing you can be sure is that it's going to suck - big time!

TV Land has acquired the rights to the '80s sitcom Who's the Boss? starting June 1. The Tony Danza-Judith Light sitcom will launch on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 10am-2pm. The series also starred Alyssa Milano and Katherine Helmond. It will air regularly Sundays 10am-2pm, weekdays 9-10pm (except Wednesdays) and Saturdays from 6-9pm. The weekday 9-10pm hour will begin on Thursday, June 5, while the Saturday block will begin on June 7. TV Land in recent months have added three classic sitcoms (Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island and Three's Company), while also getting the rights to Walker, Texas Ranger. Now Who's the Boss? joins the list of those new additions. Who's the Boss? was last seen on TV Guide Network, but it doesn't look like they will have the rights come June 1. Stay tuned for more on TV Land soon because they will have a five-night stunt beginning May 31 (and that's why Who's The Boss? won't start weeknights 9-10pm until June 5).

FX and FXX have announced their original series premieres for this summer. Returning comedy series Wilfred will move to FXX for its fourth and final season starting Wednesday, June 25 at 10 PM ET/PT with two back-to-back episodes. Wilfred is a half-hour, live-action comedy about Ryan, a young man struggling to make his way in the world until he forms a unique friendship with Wilfred, his neighbor's canine pet. Everyone else sees Wilfred as just a dog, but Ryan sees a crude and somewhat surly, yet irrepressibly brave and honest Australian bloke in a cheap dog suit. Elijah Wood stars as Ryan and Jason Gann plays the title character Wilfred. Series regulars also include Fiona Gubelmann and Dorian Brown. FXX will air 10 episodes of Wilfred for Season 4 on Wednesday nights at 10 PM ET/PT. Then, new comedy series Married premieres Thursday, July 17 at 10 PM ET/PT on FX. Married is a half hour comedy about being miserably in love. Russ (Nat Faxon) and Lina Bowman (Judy Greer) can barely remember what life was like before kids, debt, and suburbia rained on their romance -- but every once in a while, in between the arguments about their declining sex life and who's driving carpool, they are reminded what drew them together in the first place -- they're best friends. FX has ordered 10 episodes of Married for its first season to air Thursday nights at 10 PM ET/PT.

Following Married will be another new comedy on FX. Comedy You're the Worst makes its series debut Thursday, July 17 at 10:30 PM ET/PT immediately following Married. You're the Worst, from Stephen Falk, stars Aya Cash (The Wolf of Wall Street), Chris Geere, Kether Donahue, and Desmin Borges. You're the Worst is a comedic love story about what happens when two toxic, self-destructive people (Cash and Geere) fall in love despite themselves and attempt the impossible - a relationship. FX has ordered 10 episodes of You're the Worst for its first season to air Thursday nights at 10:30 PM ET/PT. Elsewhere on FX, they have two dramas: Tyrant debuts June 24 and The Strain is set for July 13. FX's Peabody Award-Winning series The Bridge returns July 9.
