The Hub this September won't be making many changes and the sitcoms and TV series airing will continue to air. Monday-Thursday from 10pm-12am will remain classic sitcoms (with an encore from 2-4am). Every Monday in September will be Happy Days, while every Tuesday in September in this block will be its spin-off Laverne & Shirley. Another Happy Days spin-off will air in the block on Wednesday, this time the Robin Williams sitcom Mork & Mindy. And on Thursdays, it's everyone's favorite alien from Melmac - ALF! On Fridays, Sept. 6 and Sept. 13, Family Game Night will air at 10pm leading into two episodes of the '90s drama Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. At 1am another '90s drama will air, as Hercules: The Legendary Journey airs. After game show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader airs from 2-3am, it's time for some sitcoms from 3-5am, with an hour of Happy Days, followed by an episode each of its spin-offs Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy. And the day closes with Honey, I Shrunk The Kids: The TV Show at 5am. Starting Sept. 20, there will be some changes to the Friday schedule. 10pm will still be Family Game Night airings, but this time the 11pm-1am block will be Hercules: The Legendary Journey instead. Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman moves to 1am & 2am, as Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader is off the line-up. The sitcom block from 3-5am will remain as is (an hour of Happy Days, followed by an episode each of its spin-offs Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy), but at 5am we have the return of Sliders to the schedule.

On Saturdays after a movie at 10, R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series and Goosebumps airs in the 12am hour. Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman follows at 1am & 2am, leading into Hercules: The Legendary Journey at 3am. An episode each of sitcoms Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy air in the 4am hour, while the 5am hour will be original series encores of Scrabble Showdown and Pictureka! On Sundays, it's sitcom night with back-to-back episodes of sitcoms from 10pm-1am, with an hour each of ALF, Happy Days, and Laverne & Shirley, followed by an immediate encore of all three hours from 1am-4am. Animated series will air from 4-6am (G.I. Joe Renegades, Dennis and Gnasher, Cosmic Quantum Ray and In the Night Garden). Back to weeknights, from 8-10pm leading into the sitcom blocks will be movies. The week of Sept. 2 will be "The Totally Hubular 80's Movie Week" with The Hub premieres of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Big Top Pee-Wee and Troop Beverly Hills. Thursday will have an encore of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, while Friday has a second play of Big Top Pee-Wee. The week concludes on Saturday with an encore of Troop Beverly Hills at 8 into Muppets From Space at 10 (which encores the next night at 8pm).

That's all for The Hub in September. There are no signs of Who's the Boss?, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Family Ties, Doogie Howser M.D. or Facts of Life returning. Besides the Friday night change beginning Sept. 20, there are not many changes to the schedule in primetime and late night (where they air TV series/sitcoms). We will let you know should anything change in October and if there will be any new acquisitions. Personally, we're waiting for them to acquire Step by Step, Perfect Strangers and Family Matters already. That's just our preference. Stay with us for continued updates!

ReelzChannel has announced the premiere of its new original reality series FanAddicts! on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, which goes inside the world's most incredible movie memorabilia collections and introduces viewers to the unforgettable fans who will stop at nothing to obtain a new item. Despite their homes, storage lockers and garages overflowing, these fans persist in a never-ending quest for more rare collectibles from their favorite movies. Classic Batman Adam West is the voice of the series taking viewers inside the lives of these obsessed aficionados. The FanAddicts! premiere features two back-to-back episodes starting at 10pm ET/PT with FanAddicts!: Harry Potter followed by FanAddicts!: Superman at 10:30pm ET/PT. Reelz is excited to have classic Batman Adam West as the voice of the series given he is the ultimate kitsch superhero and makes for a perfect pairing with beguiling, guilty pleasure TV.

Let's hope an episode focuses on Batman as well! Our old chum Adam West is 84 (and will be 85 next month) and still very much active. His voice was on an episode of Futurama earlier this month as Adam West, with the Boy Wonder, Burt Ward also guest voicing. Adam also continues to voice on Family Guy as Mayor Adam West.

As we broke back on March 11, The Hub has acquired Who's the Boss? and they started airing it last week, but now we have more updates on The Hub's schedule. Who's the Boss? airs Tuesday nights 12-2am ET but we didn't mention in the original story that it also now airs in late nights on most weeknights (Mon-Wed nights) at 3:30am. Surrounding the sitcom on those nights is Laverne & Shirley at 2am, Happy Days at 2:30am, and Mork & Mindy at 3am, with the aforementioned Who's the Boss?, to create a two-hour, late night sitcom block. Sitcoms are no longer airing in primetime, except for ALF on Sunday nights 9-11pm and Thursdays 8-9pm, and The Hub's You Rule Thursday block (9pm-12am, encores 1-4am). On to the weekend, Friday nights from 2-3am had The Facts of Life, but now they have removed that hour with repeats of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. Not to worry, The Facts of Life will still be featured from time to time on You Rule Thursday block. Happy Days (3-4am), Laverne & Shirley (4am) and Mork & Mindy (4:30am) remain on Friday nights. On Saturday nights, we have Happy Days (3-4am) and Laverne & Shirley (4am) only. And finally on Sunday nights, we have ALF at 1am, Mork & Mindy at 1:30am, followed by the unchanged Doogie Howser at 2am, Family Ties at 2:30am, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch at 3am. As mentioned earlier, in primetime on Sundays we have ALF from 9-11pm, which recently replaced Lois & Clark, which is off the line-up for now. Marion Ross, who is best known of course as Mrs. Cunningham on the '70s sitcom Happy Days and of course one of the celebrities we have interviewed back in 2011, was recently on WGN Radio in Chicago on the new TV pilot she is working on, her past TV appearances before Happy Days (Life with Father, Rawhide, Hawaii Five-0, etc), of course Happy Days, and current appearances later this spring on ABC's The Middle, Anger Management and more. So what pilot is she in? fubble entertainment, LLC. founded by the Emmy® award-winning team of Teresa L. Thome and Patrick W. Ziegler, will stage a public reading and filming of their sitcom in development, I've Got a Life in Kalamazoo. The event, in partnership with Chicago's Museum of Broadcast Communications, features an award-winning cast led by triple threat performer Vicki Lewis (NewsRadio, Broadway/Chicago, Finding Nemo), multiple Emmy® and Golden Globe winner, Ed Asner (The Mary Tyler Moore Show), and Emmy® and Golden Globe Nominee, Marion Ross (Happy Days, Brothers & Sisters, Gilmore Girls). I’ve Got A Life in Kalamazoo is about Nilah Hoyer (Lewis), a small town singer/performer. In the midst of a mid-life crisis, Nilah decides to finally attempt to move her career to the next level. With a best friend, Clayton Croft, living the fabulous life in Chicago, urging her to move to the Windy City, and a husband who merrily rolls along with all the punches, this is finally her moment. With one phone call, a turn of events occurs and Nilah must stay in Kalamazoo – reluctantly – to care for her aging parents, Bob and Imelda Hoyer. With ALF Week going on right now on The Hub, the network has altered its primetime line-up again for next week. Before we get into that, let's recap the ALF Week. ALF, the beloved, wise-cracking alien is hosting the network's primetime programming lineup for a week-long event (thru this Thursday), featuring his unique, brow-raising, sense of humor as he gives his take on favorite episodes of his own series and other classic shows on The Hub including Mork & Mindy, Sabrina, The Teenage Witch and The Facts of Life (yes, Happy Days was scrapped this week for Sabrina). Viewers are learning what ALF has to say about life since his popular series was produced in the late 1980's while he was living with the Tanner clan.
Anyway, back to what will happen starting next week. We mentioned last week that Sabrina, the Teenage Witch would only be airing Sunday nights 3-4am after its July 26 marathon from 9am-2pm (all that will remain still, though). Well, The Hub has changed their primetime schedule again. For next week only, the week of July 23-26, primetime will look like this from 8-10pm: Lois & Clark (two-hour pilot) on Monday, Sabrina the Teenage Witch on Tuesday, The Facts of Life on Wednesday and ALF on Thursday. So Monday and Tuesday has been changed and will not feature the regular Mork & Mindy and Happy Days next week. No reason was given for this change. The following two weeks will feature animated series in primetime from 8-10pm, like Batman: The Animated Series. The Hub is clearly testing to see what works best in primetime for them. As of now, the sitcoms will return regularly in primetime the week of August 13. We just don't know what shows will air when. The good news is that the 10pm-12am block will remain every week with back-to-back The Wonder Years and an episode each of Laverne & Shirley and Batman. Also remaining on the schedule will be Lois & Clark on Sunday nights from 8pm-2am, followed by an episode each of Doogie Howser and Family Ties and a double shot of Sabrina. The only other show of note for us is back-to-back Batman on Friday and Saturday nights from 5-6am, following Honey I Shrunk the Kids: The Series at 4am.

In TV acquisition news, GSN announced it has acquired off-network rights to 68 one-hour episodes of the hit game show Minute to Win It from NBCUniversal Cable & New Media Distribution. Hosted by All-American chef and television personality Guy Fieri, the game features competitors participating in a series of simple, yet nerve-wracking, games that can lead to a $1 million prize. Minute to Win It will air in four-hour blocks on Tuesday nights from 7pm to 11pm (ET) on GSN beginning on Tuesday, July 24 at 7pm (ET). The series only aired from 2010-11 on NBC but had 69 episodes in just two seasons.
GSN has also announced the premiere date for its original series, The Pyramid, a contemporary take on one of television's most beloved game shows, hosted by television executive producer and Beauty and the Geek host Mike Richards. The Pyramid is a daily strip show airing Monday through Friday at 6pm ET, and will premiere on Monday, September 3 at 6pm ET. The Pyramid is back in an all-new, half-hour version of the fast-paced word guessing game. The celebrities, the Pyramid game board, the Winner's Circle: everything viewers know and love about the iconic format is returning in GSN's lively new version. The series, a winner of nine Daytime Emmy® Awards during its storied 40-year run, brings a contemporary sensibility, tone and style to a beloved franchise and will accompany the hit show, The Newlywed Game in GSN's "Iconic Game Reinvented" category.
The Pyramid joins the previously announced new shows on GSN this fall: The American Bible Challenge and Beat the Chefs, which are the first of GSN's "Shiny Floor Game" category - contemporary studio-based game shows that focus on themes prevalent in pop culture. The American Bible Challenge, an original one-hour game show hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy, will premiere on Thursday, August 23 at 8pm ET/PT, while Beat the Chefs, an hour-long cooking competition show with host Matt Rogers, will also premiere on Thursday, August 23 at 9pm ET/PT.

The Hub's new primetime acquisition of '90s drama Lois & Clark: The Adventures of Superman is a "super" hit in the ratings! In a special 6-hour marathon introducing the Hub TV premiere of Lois & Clark: The Adventures of Superman on Sunday (8pm-2am ET) earned year-to-year delivery gains among Women 18-49 (+57%, 22,000), Adults 18-49 (+182%, 62,000), Total Viewers (+142%, 157,000) and Households (+119%, 118,000). In the Sunday 10pm timeslot, Lois & Clark: The Adventures of Superman delivered year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+145%, 27,000), Kids 2-11 (+300%, 44,000), Women 18-49 (+867%, 29,000), Adults 18-49 (+833%, 84,000), Total Viewers (+781%, 229,000) and Households (+605%, 148,000). 229,000 total viewers is not bad for The Hub. The new acquisition will air every Sunday night in this same block from 8-11pm ET with an immediate encore from 11pm-2am. I watched the first three episodes on The Hub on Sunday and I'm hooked all over again (and I have watched every episode on ABC in the original run, in syndication on TNT/TBS and own all seasons on DVD!). The series features the daring exploits of the legendary Superman in an exciting, action-packed hour-long series featuring iconic comic book characters Clark Kent (Dean Cain), his superhuman alter ego and Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher) in the most unrequited romance of all-time.
The Hub also introduced '80s sitcom ALF on Monday, as it airs Mon-Thurs at 8:30pm leading into summer sitcom marathons from 9-11pm. If and when they announce the premiere week ratings for ALF, we will certainly let you know how that alien life form did!

We have the nominations for the 2nd Annual Critics Choice Television Awards. The ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday, June 18 at a gala awards dinner. NBC was the most nominated broadcast network with 14 nominations (up from the 12 last year) followed closely by ABC with 13 (down from the 16 last year) and Fox with 12. HBO led nominations for cable networks with 12, followed by AMC and FX with 11 nominations each. NBC's Community was the most nominated series with six. This June, The Hub TV will add two fan-favorite, live-action series, the '80s sitcom ALF (Monday, June 4) and '90s drama Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (Sunday, June 3) to its primetime program lineup, both from Warner Bros. Television. With strong and devoted fan bases for both shows, the newly acquired series will join the current primetime schedule that features Mork & Mindy, Happy Days, Sabrina The Teenage Witch and The Facts of Life, building on The Hub's successful strategy of presenting programming based on beloved properties in the kids and family entertainment space. Beginning Sunday June 3, the new primetime schedule of popular series will be aired in marathon blocks. Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman will air Sundays from 8-11 p.m. ET in primetime. On Mondays it will be Mork & Mindy from 9-11 p.m. ET. On Tuesdays it is Happy Days from 9-11 p.m. ET. Wednesdays will feature The Facts of Life from 9-11 p.m. ET. And on Thursdays, it is Sabrina, The Teenage Witch from 9-11 p.m. ET. New acquisition ALF will air weekdays at 8:30 p.m. ET leading into the sitcom blocks every Mon-Thurs. ALF will also encore Mon-Thurs nights at 2:30 a.m. ET leading into encores of the sitcom marathons from 3-5 a.m. ET. On Sundays, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman will have an immediate encore from 11pm-2am. Back to Mon-Thurs, Laverne & Shirley and Batman will remain in the 11pm hour, with an encore at 5am. So many good shows and something for everyone.

As for the sitcoms not airing weeknights and sitcoms late nights on weekends, The Wonder Years is getting a better slot on Friday and Saturday nights, airing 1:00am & 1:30am ET. An episode each of Doogie Howser M.D. and Family Ties will remain at 2:00am & 2:30am, and this includes Sunday nights as well. At 3am & 3:30am Fri-Sun nights, we now have an hour of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, replacing an episode each of Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley. And since Wonder Years moves to 1am on Fri-Sat nights, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids will air at 4am on Fri-Sat nights. Also on Fri-Sat nights, we have more Batman at 5am & 5:30am. Sunday nights from 4-6am will remain children's shows. On just Friday nights, Mork & Mindy will air 11pm & 11:30pm leading into an hour of Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley.
ALF follows the adventures of Gordon Shumway, a furry, wise-cracking alien from the planet Melmac who crash lands into the garage of the Tanner family. The Tanners offer him a home and give him the nickname ALF, short for "Alien Life Form." Created by Tom Patchett and Paul Fusco (also the puppeteer for ALF), the half-hour sitcom rose to popularity in the late 1980s cementing itself in the pop culture zeitgeist. Moving on, Nick at Nite is bringing back The Brady Bunch! The sitcom will return tonight (technically early Tuesday morning) at approx 5:02am & 5:34am. Two episodes will air every morning, except on Sunday nights (Monday mornings) it will only air once at approx. 5:02am, as Glenn Martin airs approx. 5:34am. The Brady Bunch is replacing Family Matters, which is now off the schedule completely. Steve Urkel and the Winslow's have been a staple on Nick at Nite for about four years now. No word on if and when Family Matters will return. As for The Brady Bunch, it looks like it is returning to the Viacom network family, as it has aired on Nick at Nite and TV Land before. The last time Viacom aired Brady Bunch was in late May 2010 on TV Land, as looks like it has gotten another contract at Viacom now. The Brady Bunch will still remain on cable on INSP and on digital broadcast on MeTV Network. But if you don't get those, you can now watch them every morning on Nick at Nite!
There are some other schedule changes to report as well effective tonight (Monday, May 21, 2012). Yes, Dear will move to Sun-Thurs at 8:00pm & 8:30pm. This means Friends' two-hour block is now back to back-to-back airing every night from 11pm-1am. That '70s Show will now move to Sun-Fri 9:00pm & 9:30pm, shifting George Lopez back to its 10:00pm & 10:30pm stomping yard. Yes, Dear will air on Saturday nights at 10:00pm & 10:30pm, though. As for late nights, approx. 1:12am & 1:46am will be George Lopez encores every night except Sunday nights will have That '70s Show. At approx. 2:18am, Everybody Hates Chris will remain Mon-Fri nights. Yes, Dear will air on Sat-Sun nights. At approx. 2:51am, Yes, Dear will air every night. At approx. 3:22am, we have another Yes, Dear Mon-Fri nights, while Saturday nights as That '70s Show and Sunday nights have The Nanny. At approx. 3:56am, it's The Nanny every night except on Saturday nights it is That '70s Show . At. approx 4:30am every night is The Nanny still. And The Brady Bunch closes the night out with two airings every morning (once on Sunday nights), as we mentioned. The 6am hour is back to Nickelodeon programming now.
