Saturday Night Live UK to Launch This Weekend; Hulu Renews Paradise for Season 3
Saturday Night Live UK announces that Tina Fey, celebrated for her era defining years as head writer and cast member on the US version, will host the launch episode of SNL UK on 21 March. Tina will be joined by a chart-topping musical guest, Isle of Wight indie sensations Wet Leg.
On 28 March, critically acclaimed Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan (Belfast) will be joined by the BRIT Award-winning band Wolf Alice. On 4 April, Academy award-winning British actor Riz Ahmed (Bait, Hamlet) will be joined by titans of rock Kasabian.
Live from London at 10pm every Saturday night, each 75-minute episode, will see a different host take to the stage alongside SNL UK's inaugural cast: Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.

Broadcast live each week, this brand new British version brings the highwire, anything can happen energy audiences expect from SNL - reimagined through a distinctly British lens. Written, rehearsed and performed in the week of broadcast, preserving SNL's famously fast turn around creative process.
Each show is staged in front of a live studio audience, every episode features an opening monologue, topical sketches, live music, and a UK adaptation of SNL's iconic satirical news segment, Weekend Update. Together, this first wave of hosts, musical guests and cast members marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for the globally acclaimed SNL franchise - blending its storied legacy with a fresh generation of British comedy voices.
Hulu Original drama series Paradise, which hails from 20th Television, has been renewed for a third season. The show continues to resonate with audiences worldwide, amassing over 30M hours for S2 and nearly 12 billion minutes streamed globally across its first two seasons. Season 2 has also driven 25M hours of lift to Season 1 - showing the series is still finding new audiences that are starting with the first season. Paradise season two is now streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the US for bundle subscribers and on Disney+ internationally, with the season finale on Monday, March 30th.
The political thriller is from creator Dan Fogelman (Only Murders in the Building, This Is Us), and stars Sterling K. Brown (This is Us, American Fiction) as Agent Xavier Collins. The debut season earned four Emmy(R) Award nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and acting nominations for Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden and Julianne Nicholson, with Brown also earning Golden Globe, Critics' Choice, and Actor Award nominations, as well as winning the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series.
In season two, Xavier searches for Teri out in the world and learns how people survived the three years since The Day. Back in Paradise, the social fabric frays as the bunker deals with the aftermath of season one, and new secrets are uncovered about the city's origins. Season two stars Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and Charlie Evans, with recurring guest stars James Marsden, Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Jon Beavers.
