SitcomsOnline Digest: NBC Orders Additional St. Denis Medical Episodes; The Tonight Show Renewed Through 2028

  • It hasn't even started yet, but NBC is already giving a slight vote of confidence to the upcoming new comedy series St. Denis Medical by ordering additional episodes. (Variety)
  • Jimmy Fallon will be hosting The Tonight Show through at least 2028. (Variety)
  • Although it too was renewed until 2028, due to budget cuts, the house band is being cut from Late Night with Seth Meyers. (Hollywood Reporter)
  • With the looming threat of TNT potentially losing rights to NBA games, Charles Barkley has announced his retirement after the upcoming season. (Deadline)
