Adult Swim Orders Season 2 of Royal Crackers; Game Show Network 2023 Upfront

Leading into the premiere of Adult Swim's newest animated comedy Royal Crackers this Sunday, Adult Swim announced that it has ordered a second season of the series. The new half-hour comedy created by and starring Jason Ruiz follows the Hornsby family as they vie for control of their once-successful cracker company. Royal Crackers was once the king of snacks, but the empire is crumbling. When the family patriarch, tyrannical company founder Theodore Hornsby Sr. ends up in a "super coma," the rest of the Hornsbys will take their lack of talent and business acumen and try to make Royal Crackers the success it once was.
To highlight the series launch, Adult Swim constructed a billboard that's as unusual and unstable as the Hornsby family's company. Made completely of crackers, the billboard is currently available to see for a limited time on Atlanta's Beltline at 750 Ponce De Leon Pl NE #1. Royal Crackers stars Andrew Santino (Dave, Mixology), Jessica St. Clair (Veep, American Housewife, The Deep Dive podcast), David Gborie (Exploding Kittens, All Fantasy Everything podcast), Emmy winner Maile Flanagan (Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks, Naruto, Not Dead Yet) and Fred Tatasciore (Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal). Ruiz serves as executive producer along with Seth Cohen (The Last Man on Earth). The series is produced by Titmouse. Fans everywhere can now get an early look at Royal Crackers as the premiere episode is now available to watch on Adult Swim's YouTube channel. The first three episodes of Royal Crackers will debut Sunday, April 2 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim and the next day on HBO Max. New episodes will premiere weekly Sunday at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Game Show Network and Sony Pictures Television (SPT) announced offerings for the 2023 Upfronts will continue to include options in live viewing, integrations, and syndicated programming. A top 20 cable network, Game Show Network remains a prolific producer of content, with over 275 hours of shows in 2023 (+26% over the previous year), as a result of its commitment to delivering high quality original programming and the consistency of a stripped schedule. Game Show Network has greenlit four new strip series, Split Second, based on the format from game show legend Monty Hall, to be hosted by Emmy®-Nominated Game Show Host John Michael Higgins (America Says, Pitch Perfect), in his second series for the network, the comedic game show format Blank Slate, to be hosted by Mario Lopez (Access Hollywood), Riddiculous (working title) based on the popular UK game of riddles, along with recently announced Hey Yahoo!, hosted by actor Tom Cavanagh (Ed, The Flash), which is based on the most popular searches from the powerful search engine, Yahoo.
Rounding out the schedule are the recently premiered fan favorites the all-star trivia show Master Minds (January 2023) hosted by Emmy®-nominated game show host Brooke Burns and featuring a panel of Master Mind trivia experts who compete against the contestants, which enters its fifth season as the show improved its time period by +33% (W25-54) and Switch (January 2023), a quick-moving trivia show where contestants take positions behind large numbers from 1 to 5, hosted by actor Jeff Hephner (Chicago Med, Chicago Fire) will be back for its second season as it improved its time period by +20% (P2+).
