NBC Announces Partial Summer 2022 Schedule; CBS Renews NCIS Franchise for 2022-23

NBC has announced some of its summer line-up with mega summer premieres. Big stars, high-stakes competition and an Emmy Award-winning series make NBC the must-watch destination for the whole family. Summer staple America's Got Talent and newbie Dancing with Myself will launch NBC's summer season with back-to-back premieres on Tuesday, May 31 from 8-11pm. The veteran American Ninja Warrior premieres Monday, June 6 from 8-10pm and the anticipated return of Emmy Award-winning documentary series Who Do You Think You Are? premieres Sunday, July 10 from 7-8pm. Weakest Link will return for more episodes on Wednesday, August 10 from 9-10pm through mid-September. All programs will stream on Peacock the day following their NBC telecast.
America's Got Talent kicks off six weeks of live shows at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium beginning Tuesday, Aug. 9 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) on NBC. Results shows will air Wednesday nights (8-9 p.m. ET/PT) starting Aug. 10 with the season finale airs Wedneday, September 15 from 9-11pm. NBC has not announced what will air following Ninja Warrior all summer along with what will air following AGT on Tuesdays starting in August when Dancing with Myself concludes. NBC has a few new series still waiting in the wings such as The Wheel and Password, along with returning game show Family Game Fight. Stay tuned for the rest of the NBC summer line-up.

CBS has renewed all three current dramas in the NCIS franchise for the 2022-2023 broadcast season. The returning CBS Original series are the parent series NCIS, new freshman drama NCIS: Hawai'i and veteran NCIS: Los Angeles. Additional CBS renewals will be announced in the coming weeks. Right now 2 of the 3 air on the same night, but will all 3 air on the same night in 2022-23 season to create an NCIS night like FBI has? These three dramas join the previously announced renewals of The Amazing Race, Bob ♥ Abishola, CSI: Vegas, Ghosts, The Neighborhood, Secret Celebrity Renovation, Survivor, Tough as Nails and Young Sheldon.
