Abbott Elementary Finale Hits Multi-Platform Highs; Arnold Schwarzenegger Netflix Series Announces Cast

After seven days of viewing across linear and digital platforms, the first season finale of ABC's Abbott Elementary delivered a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49 to tie the series' highest-rated telecast of the season. The Abbott Elementary season finale skyrocketed over the series' December debut by 50% among Adults 18-49 (1.8 rating vs. 1.2 rating on 12/7/21). Abbott Elementary picked up an additional +3.1 million viewers over its initial Live+Same Day average to deliver 5.9 million Total Viewers on its season finale with delayed multiplatform viewing. In addition, the new ABC sitcom tripled among Adults 18-49 after just seven days of cross-platform viewing, jumping +200% to hit a 1.8 rating from a 0.6 rating in Live+Same Day. On average for its complete first season, Abbott Elementary stands as ABC's highest-rated new comedy among Adults 18-49 (1.7 rating) after seven days of viewing across linear and digital platforms since The Conners during the 2018-19 season.

It was previously announced that Netflix picked up the Untitled Arnold Schwarzenegger Project, a scripted global spy adventure series that marks Schwarzenegger's first television project and hails from Skydance Television and Nick Santora; starring and executive produced by Schwarzenegger opposite Monica Barbaro (Top Gun: Maverick). Now, Netflix announced the following cast additions: Jay Baruchel (he / him) will play "Carter," the sweet and unsuspecting boyfriend of Emma (Monica Barbaro). Aparna Brielle (she / her) will play "Tina," an NSA analyst on loan to the CIA. Andy Buckley (he / him) will play "Donnie," Tally's current boyfriend, who is an easy-going fellow. Milan Carter (he / him) will play "Barry," a loveable man-child and proud nerd, who is an American CIA officer that has worked closely with Luke for the past 20 years.
Fortune Feimster (she / her) will play "Roo" (short for Ruth), a smart, sarcastic CIA Officer who looks up to Luke as a father figure. Barbara Eve Harris (she / her) will play "Dot," the Regional CIA Director. Intelligent, commanding, intimidating - Dot suffers no fools. Gabriel Luna (he / him) will play "Boro," an incredibly charismatic, Oxford-educated businessman, who's chosen to apply those skills to a career in the illegal arms trade. Fabiana Udenio (she / her) will play "Tally," Luke's ex-wife and Emma's mother, who does not know that the two are in the CIA, but has always been suspicious of Luke's frequent "business trips" which created distance in their relationship. Travis Van Winkle (he/him) will play "Aldon," a great CIA officer and world class wise-ass, who is a kind and sweet man under it all.
