Antenna TV Acquires My Favorite Martian for This Spring; 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Winners

Antenna TV has acquired the '60s classic sitcom My Favorite Martian starting this Spring. Exact premiere date will be announced soon, but the series will be part of the weekday daytime 50s/60s sitcom block at 12:00pm & 12:30pm (currently McHale's Navy airs in the timeslot). More details will be announced soon when we announce their Spring schedule. The series aired on CBS originally from 1963-1966. Reruns have aired on cable on networks over the years such as AmericanLife TV and TV Land and in the diginet space on COZI TV in 2015. In the series, a Martian crash-lands on Earth and is taken in by young newspaper reporter Tim O'Hara. Disguised as Tim's Uncle Martin, he attempts to repair his ship and keep himself out of trouble. But Tim's nosy landlady, Mrs. Brown, takes a liking to Uncle Martin, which complicates things, as does Uncle Martin's tendency to use his Martian powers at the wrong time. The classic sitcom stars Bill Bixby (The Courtship of Eddie's Father, The Incredible Hulk) as newspaper reporter Tim O'Hara and Ray Walston (Picket Fences) as the Martian whom Tim discovers and passes off as his Uncle Martin. Pamela Britton plays their snoopy landlady, Lorelei Brown.
