SitcomsOnline Digest: Comedy Central Picks Up Daria Spinoff; Networks Finally Set Fall Lineup

Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! This week, we finally have fall lineups for every network (all still subject to change, of course!), we're hearing of a Daria spinoff, and more. Let's get going!

  • Comedy Central has picked up a Daria spinoff, Jodie, with Tracee Ellis Ross voicing the title character. (CNN)
  • We finally have a look at what each broadcast network's fall lineup will look like... whenever that starts. (Deadline)  
  • NBC will be promoting their new season with a 30 Rock remotely produced reunion special, of sorts. (Deadline) 
  • Jimmy Kimmel is going on a "summer vacation" for a while, and guest hosts will take over in the interim. (Vanity Fair)
  • With the new season arriving, we've gotten the "final word" on some of the series from last season that were on the bubble. (SitcomsOnline)
