SitcomsOnline Digest: The On-Going Feud Between Bill Cosby and Eddie Murphy; Writer of Friends Theme Song Dies

Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! It's a very slow week for news since we're between holidays (and it'll probably stay that way for another week), but we've got some news about some TV related deaths, an ongoing feud between two comedians, and more. Let's get going!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM SITCOMSONLINE.COM AND AROUND THE WEB

Eddie Murphy and Bill Cosby (or at least Bill Cosby's publicist) have had a few words to say to each other in the past week. (Vanity Fair)
Allee Willis is not a household name, but she wrote the theme song for Friends, and she has died this week at age 72. (NY Post)
Lee Mendelson, the producer of A Charlie Brown Christmas, died on Christmas Day. (CNN)
Freeform has really come a long way from the days of being the religious cable network that would bleep out mild swears and even skip episodes of Punky Brewter for being controversial, as they will have a lineup in January that includes The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Superstore. (SitcomsOnline)
