SitcomsOnline Digest: The Conners Renewed for a Second Season; (Almost) Everything Brady Related Coming to a DVD Box Set

- Fifteen years is a long time for any scripted series to be airing, especially when the network that originally aired the series (The WB) is now defunct, and now The CW series Supernatural will be coming to an end after next season. (Variety)
- It's been a long process that some thought may never actually be completed, but Homer Simpson, Hank Hill, and Peter Griffin are all now officially Disney characters, as Disney has completed their acquisition of 21st Century Fox. (Entertainment Weekly)
- Gayle King has become a star for CBS, especially recently with her R. Kelly interview, so the network is working hard to ensure that they can keep her as it is time for contract renewal. (Variety)
- There was a reunion of the Parks and Recreation cast at PaleyFest, but don't get your hopes up for any sort of reboot anytime soon (it is way too soon, after all). (Entertainment Weekly)
- NBC will air the Super Bowl in 2022 following a swap with CBS, which will allow NBC to integrate the Winter Olympics into their Super Bowl coverage. (Deadline)
- ABC has found a unique niche in reviving classic game shows, and they're doing it again with Press Your Luck and Card Sharks. (SitcomsOnline)
