A brilliant but reclusive scientist, Doctor Wolcott (Peter MacNicol), invites Sheldon to his cabin in the middle of nowhere, and Leonard, Raj and Howard go along for the trip. Also, Penny and Bernadette improvise after Amy doesn’t like the tame bachelorette party they planned for her.

In The Cut - "May the Best Man Win" (Bounce TV, 9:00PM ET/PT)
Kenny and Smitty compete over who should be Jay's best man for the wedding; Angelique starts working at Mabel's to earn some extra money.

Wrecked - "Hunt Day" (TBS, 10:00PM ET/PT)
Hunt Day arrives and the survivors must face off against each other in a battle royale to the death.


Wednesday, September 12

After seeing “Flashdance,” Beverly decides to take up dance with the Frentas and is dejected when the family doesn’t support her after telling them she is going to be in a recital. When Katie starts her day in a bad mood, the Ottos come together to cheer her up; but in an alternate reality and in a different sweater, Katie starts her day in a good mood and the family comes together to cheer up Greg.

When Dede drops in unexpectedly, Mitchell and Cam come to a realization about her effect on their lives; Phil, Luke, Alex and Haley all have different bad news to break to Claire and compete about when to do it, the tiny window of time after her monthly spa day when she’s her most relaxed.

Despite Lena and Martin getting along as co-parents, they must determine the best way to orchestrate Milo’s upcoming birthday festivities based on their new system of boundaries. Meanwhile, Martin is pleasantly surprised when Lena shares a birthday invite with an unforeseen guest. Elsewhere, Maya takes matters into her own hands and reveals a surprise guest of her own.

A battle erupts between the Coopers and Sparks when the Sparks’ new dog terrorizes Sheldon.

Michael (Ted Danson) continues to work out the kinks in his grand plan. Meanwhile, Eleanor (Kristen Bell) stumbles across a secret.

Maya has jury duty, which is like a vacation for her until she learns Taylor’s mom, Melanie (guest star Sarah Chalke returns), is also there. Meanwhile, JJ lies about his disabilities on an online dating site after a few bad dates; and Ray is upset Jimmy and Dylan spend too much together.
