SitcomsOnline Digest: Will ALF and Facts of Life Get Reboots?; Timeless to Get Holiday Sendoff
- With all of the talk about reboots, we aren't sure why talks of this one took so long to happen, but Warner Bros. TV is looking to reboot ALF as a new series where he would be living with a new family. (Variety)
- An even more bizarre and surprising reboot idea has been thrown out there from a production company run by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jessica Biel, and it's not a reboot of Growing Pains or 7th Heaven, but rather a reboot of Facts of Life. (Deadline)
- Despite what all of the media outlets (including us) were proclaiming last week, it seems that the deal that Norman Lear signed with Sony is not so much about reboots of his classic series, but more about ideas that he has had for years that never made it to air. (Deadline)
