Week 24 TV Ratings and Analysis; How the Sitcoms Did

2016-17 Week 24 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu): 

Households: #1. NBC 5.74/10 rating/share (+71% in rating from first four nights week 23); #2. CBS 3.92/7 (-18%); #3. ABC 2.31/4 (-31%); #4. Fox 1.97/3 (-14%); #5. The CW 0.93/2 (-5%).
Total Viewers: #1. NBC 9.388 million (+73% from first four nights week 23); #2. CBS 6.154 million (-20%); #3. ABC 3.490 million (-33%); #4. Fox 3.168 million (-14%); #5. The CW 1.510 million (-6%).
Adults 18-49: #1. NBC 2.03/8 rating/share (+60% in rating from first four nights week 23); #2. CBS 1.09/4 (-13%); #3. ABC 0.92/3 (-39%); #4. Fox 0.92/3 (-8%); #5. The CW 0.53/2 (-7%)

We have previous week's final ratings, Week 23 (2/20/17-2/26/17, LIVE+SD). ABC won the week in A18-49 again but it was boosted big by The Oscars and did a 2.40 rating.  CBS was #2 with a 1.01 rating.  NBC was #3 with a 0.99 rating, while Fox was #4 with a 0.81 rating  Among total viewers, ABC was #1 with 8.847 million, with CBS #2 at 6.800 million.  NBC was #3 with 4.260 million and Fox at #4 with 2.871 million.

For season to-date (9/19/16-3/2/17, LIVE+SD), NBC is 1 in A18-49 with a 1.96 rating, followed by Fox at #2 with a 1.89 rating thanks to the Super Bowl and also heavily inflated by a high 7-game World Series. Without those 2 events, Fox would be #4. CBS is  #3 with a 1.52 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.28 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS #1 at 8.339 million, followed by the dropping NBC at #2 with 7.464 million. Super Bow/World Series boosted Fox still at #3 with 6.084 million as ABC is #4 with 5.248 million.
