Bounce Pulls Cosby, Centric Removes Cosby Show; All Voice Talent Remain on The Simpsons for Seasons 27 and 28

With the latest developments surrounding actor/comedian Bill Cosby, Bounce TV will cease airing the television series Cosby (1996-2000 series) effective immediately. Bounce TV is a broadcast network carried by local television stations with corresponding cable carriage. It is the fastest-growing African-American (AA) network on television and the #2 most-watched AA network. Bounce TV is available in more than 85 million homes across 90 markets, 90% of African American television homes -- including all of the top AA television markets -- and three quarters of the total television homes in the United States. In addition, Centric has also pulled reruns of Bill Cosby's more popular sitcom The Cosby Show from its line-up. Centric was airing the sitcom weekdays at 9am and 4-5pm, while Bounce TV was airing Cosby weekdays 5-6pm. Now both The Cosby Show and Cosby are not airing anywhere in the U.S. TV Land stopped airing The Cosby Show months ago, while Aspire TV stopped airing the '70s sitcom The Bill Cosby Show.

Following the announcement of The Simpsons' renewal for an unprecedented 27th and 28th seasons, Fox is proud to confirm that each and every member of the iconic series' voice cast will be returning in the roles they've brought to life since the show's beginnings as a series of animated shorts nearly 30 years ago. The critically acclaimed The Simpsons voice cast has been recognized with countless awards over the series' 26 seasons, including 11 Emmys. In fact, every main cast member - Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria And Harry Shearer - has won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance at some point in the show's run, which, with the recent two-season pick-up, will extend to an astounding 625 episodes... and counting.

Hosted by Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier and filmed on location on The Neighborhood's stages, the special celebrates the acclaimed CBS comedy's final season, honoring eight seasons, 156 episodes, and eight unforgettable years of laughter, heart and community, leading up to the series finale on May 11.
