COZI TV Launches June 1 in 4 New Markets, Including Tampa Bay; Stars Line Up Tonight for Red Nose Day
COZI TV announced it signed an affiliation agreement with Media General to add four new markets to the network's iconic, easy to watch programming lineup beginning June 1. With the addition of the four new stations, COZI TV now has 79 affiliates, serving nearly 84 million homes, in 74 percent of the country, including nine of the top 10 U.S. television markets. Under the agreement with Media General, COZI TV will be lighting up on the multicast channels of four local stations owned by the company, including WTTA in Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL; KXAN in Austin, TX; KASA in Albuquerque-Santa Fe, NM and WXSP in Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo-Battle Creek, MI. COZI TV was launched in 2013 by the NBC Owned Television Stations division of NBCUniversal. The network engages viewers with a warm and welcoming vibe, delivering them some of America's most beloved television series and hit movies. COZI TV's lineup includes classics such as Miami Vice, Murder, She Wrote, Magnum, P.I., Charlie’s Angels, The Bionic Woman, Six Million Dollar Man, Fantasy Island, Dragnet, Adam-12 and Lone Ranger.
Seth Meyers, David Duchovny and Jane Krakowski will host Red Nose Day, NBC's star-studded charity event airing tonight (Thursday, May 21) live from 8-11pm ET) And Ed Sheeran, Josh Groban, Christian Slater, Al Roker, Andy Cohen, Kellan Lutz and Kermit the Frog are joining the "fun-raising" special to help lift children out of poverty in the U.S. and in some of the poorest communities in the world. Meyers, Duchovny and Krakowski will each host one hour of the three-hour live event happening at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom. The inaugural benefit will feature great comedy, videos produced by Funny Or Die, incredible music performances and short appeals films shedding light on those in need. Over 100 stars have now been announced for the star-studded benefit, including Julia Roberts, Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon, Blake Shelton, Richard Gere, Reese Witherspoon, Jack Black, Michelle Rodriguez, Julianne Moore, Pharrell, One Direction, Keith Urban, John Mellencamp, John Krasinski, Zac Efron, Nick Cannon and many more.
