Bob's Burgers Gets 6th Season; Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows (Week of January 12, 2015)

Bob's Burgers

Fox has renewed Bob's Burgers for a sixth season, ordering 22 additional episodes of the Emmy Award-winning animated series. Currently the show is in its fifth season of broadcast but is still airing episodes from its fourth season in production, with 18 of the 22 have aired so far. So this means, with the new 22 episode order, there will be at least 50 more episodes to air (4 from 4th season, 22 from 5th and 22 from 6th). One of the four left from season four, "Speakeasy Rider," airs this Sunday, Jan. 11 at 9:30PM ET/PT, where Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman) and Louise (Kristen Schaal) are ready to put the pedal to the metal when they join a go-kart league. Meanwhile, back at the restaurant, Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) and Teddy (Larry Murphy) partner up to serve Teddy's home-brewed beer on the sly. The series follows the ups and downs of Bob, who runs Bob's Burgers with the help of his wife, Linda (John Roberts), and their three kids, Tina, Gene and Louise. Despite the greasy counters and lousy location, Bob and his family are determined to make the business, and their everyday lives, a success.
