2014 Christmas Eve and Christmas Day TV Marathons & Movies
Some of the major TV stunts we mentioned already were ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas 2014 edition, concluding on Thursday after 25 days. That is always a fan favorite pick of course! Some of the stuff that will air on Christmas Eve and Day on ABC Family include Home Alone and Christmas Vacation. However, our pick of the marathons is once again on Antenna TV! Starting today they have a Christmas episode marathon beginning today at 5am on Christmas Eve running all the way into Christmas night of many classics from Diff'rent Strokes to All in the Family to WKRP to Three's Company! The MeTV Network will also have holiday episodes of their series like M*A*S*H and The Donna Reed Show, as they have had all month in the 10pm hour. It's a Christmas conundrum! COZI TV has its Holidozi marathon beginning at 6am today and lasting through Christmas Day with shows like Highway to Heaven, Hart to Hart, The Dick Van Dyke Show, and movies like Scrooge. TV Land's will have holiday episodes of its series today and tomorrow, but it's not being called its annual Merrython though, but look for holiday episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond, Gilligan's Island, Roseanne and Andy Griffith. And TV One will also celebrate the holidays with holiday episodes on Christmas Eve and Day starting at 6am today with Christmas episodes of their sitcoms like The Jeffersons, Everybody Hates Chris, What's Happening!! and Martin! If that's not all, the day after Christmas on Kwanza (Dec. 26), celebrate with Rerun and the gang with a What's Happening!! marathon from 10am-2am on TV One!
Some of the other stuff include WGN America's AFV marathons on Christmas Eve and Day. IFC will give us a Batman marathon on Christmas Eve from 6am-5pm, but wait there's more! Same bat time, same bat channel tomorrow for Christmas Day as well from 6am-5pm! Holy double the fun, Batman! E! will give us a Sex and the City marathon beginning at 12 noon today. Sister network Cloo has a Monk farewell marathon beginning on Christmas Day, as the network will lose the series following this farewell marathon.
Cartoon Network and Boomerang continue to air holiday episodes and specials with airings such as Smurfs: A Christmas Carol, Christmas Flintstone and Tom & Jerry Nutcracker starting today at 6am on CN and 7am on Boomerang. Movie wise, for the 18th year in a row Turner will have its annual A Christmas Story (1983) 24-hour movie marathon on TBS from 8pm Christmas Eve through 8pm Christmas night! TNT will also air the stunt! FX is doing a movie marathon featuring movies like Kung Fu Panda starting at 7am to 1am on Christmas Day.
