CBS Doubles Up on Big Bang on Mondays, Moves Mom; Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows (Week of September 29, 2014)

The Big Bang Theory

Capitalizing on the early success from its premiere Monday, CBS will double up on The Big Bang Theory to open the night for the next three weeks. An original episode of The Big Bang Theory will air at 8:00 PM, followed by a rebroadcast of a different episode at 8:30PM, ET/PT on Monday, Sept. 29, Monday, Oct. 6 and Monday, Oct. 13. The critically acclaimed comedy Mom, originally scheduled to premiere next Monday at 8:30 PM, will now premiere as part of CBS's signature Thursday comedy block. Mom will premiere after The Big Bang Theory moves back to Thursdays on Oct. 30 at 8:30PM, ET/PT, the night CBS launches its Thursday entertainment lineup (following the conclusion of Thursday Night Football). Mom will return to Mondays at 8:30PM ET/PT on Jan. 5. The sophomore season of The Millers, originally scheduled to premiere on Thursday, Oct. 30, will now debut Monday, Oct. 20 at 8:30PM, ET/PT.
