Soap, Happy Endings on Logo; SNL Saturday Marathon on TV Land
Logo is bringing us even more laughs. First up, they are airing two episodes of Soap (episodes 4 and 8) on Sunday, Aug. 24 at 2:30pm & 3pm, following two episodes of Maude ("Maude's Dilemma" two-parter). Soap and Maude are airing on this date following Roseanne, Designing Women and Will & Grace. No other airings are scheduled for Soap on Logo, so perhaps it will be used here and there like Maude, which also is not airing regularly. However, Happy Endings will be joining the Logo schedule this Fall! The series was airing in repeats on sister network VH1, but now it will move to Logo and join other fellow former ABC comedy Don't Trust the B--- in Apartment 23. As for the scheduling, Happy Endings will launch with a Labor Day weekend marathon on Saturday, Aug. 30 from 12pm-8pm, Sunday, Aug. 31. from 12-6pm, and Monday, Sept. 1 from 12-5pm. Happy Endings will air in blocks regularly everyday like The Golden Girls, Will & Grace, Roseanne, Living Single, Designing Women, The Nanny, CSI and The X-Files. Keep it right here for any further updates on Logo, but as of now Happy Endings is the new addition for Fall 2014. No word on Soap yet other than the two airings this coming Sunday.
TV Land is bringing us Saturday Night Live all day on Saturday, Aug. 30 from 11am-11pm. It will be a star-studded day with episodes featuring guest hosts Jennifer Aniston, Jerry Seinfeld, Tina Fey, Melissa McCarthy, Betty White, Justin Timberlake and best of compilations of Jimmy Fallon, Alec Baldwin, and Amy Poehler. Music guests include Sting, David Bowie, Justin Bieber, Lady Antebellum, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z. SNL airs regularly on sister networks VH1 and VH1 Classic. No word just yet if TV Land has plans to make SNL a regular part of their line-up. Stay with us for continued updated. Live from TV Land, it's Saturday Night!
