Hangin' with Mr. Cooper Comes to Nick at Nite; 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards Winners
Nick at Nite has quietly acquired the rights to the '90s sitcom Hangin' with Mr. Cooper starring Mark Curry. The series began this morning (Monday, Jan. 13) with episodes three and four and is airing seven days a week at 6:00am & 6:30am, replacing repeats of Nick at Nite original sitcom See Dad Run, which incidentally co-stars Mark Curry. No other schedule changes will be made to the line-up, so this will be the only time you can watch Hangin' with Mr. Cooper. However, knowing how much Viacom networks likes to share series, don't be surprised if Coop pops-up on other Viacom-owned networks like MTV2 or Centric. We'll let you know of course if and when that happens. Hangin' with Mr. Cooper has previously aired on Viacom some years back on Nickelodeon, TeenNick (when it was called The N) and Spike TV (when it was called The New TNN). In recent years the series aired on TV One and ION Television, but it hasn't been seen since 2008.
The series originally aired on ABC from 1992-97 and was from creator Jeff Franklin, who created Full House. In addition to series star Mark Curry, the series featured Dawnn Lewis, Holly Robinson Peete, Raven-Symoné, Saundra Quarterman, Nell Carter, Marquise Wilson and Omar Gooding. Stay with us for continued updates. Give it up!
