Summer Week 13 Sitcom Ratings; New Sitcoms On TV This Summer

We're nearing the end of summer, but there are still sitcom airings, new and repeats. We will be back with our normal weekly ratings report with the first four nights numbers and analysis in the fall, but we still will have our regular how the sitcoms did all summer long! Here are our summer ratings:

Summer Week 13 (August 19-25) How the Network Sitcoms Did

  • New Girl (Fox) - A repeat at 9 did only 1.48 million and just a 0.7 18-49 rating, but up a tenth in 18-49 from previous week. It just doesn't repeat well for an anchor at all.

Airing tonight (Sunday) are repeats of Fox Animation Domination from 7-10pm.

Summing it up. Repeats of The Big Bang Theory & Two and a Half Men was impressive for the week. Everything else was OK (such as repeats of Modern Family, Mike & Molly) or just plain old terrible (such as repeats of New Girl and The Mindy Project).
