Lil Kev Season 2 Premieres December 9; It's a Wonderful Lifetime 2026 Schedule

The culture, characters and community chaos in Philadelphia continue! Inspired by Kevin Hart's childhood in the 1990s, all ten episodes of the adult animated comedy series Lil Kev season two premiere Wednesday, December 9, exclusively on Paramount+.
Set in 1993 North Philadelphia, Lil Kev follows twelve-year-old Kev as his enormous ambition and wild imagination fuel one scheme after another. Raised by his fiercely protective mother Nancy, he navigates the chaos created by his recovering father Henry, cynical older brother Robert, and ex-con uncle Richard Jr. Through schoolyard rivalries, neighborhood hustles, and family setbacks, Kev turns every disaster into a story.
In season two, the normally unflappable Kev deals with the consequences of one moment of lashing out at the system - a rash act that lands him in the juvenile justice system and plunges him into an adult world he's not ready to deal with.
Alongside Hart in the titular role, returning cast members include: Wanda Sykes as Nancy; Deon Cole as Uncle Richard Jr.; Jamar Malachi Neighbors as Robert; Gerald "Slink" Johnson as Henry; Anjelah Johnson-Reyes as Marisol; Nicole Aimee Schreiber as Ms. Green; Cree Summer as Gerald and Shaquilla; Mo Collins as Mrs. O'Lady and Connie DiScendo; Loretta Devine as Lunch Lady Gloria; Affion Crockett as Darnell and Smitty; Clayton Thomas as Rev and Mooney; Justin Hires as Chin Check; Wé Ani as Rhe Rhe and Jamarcus; and Rick Ingraham as Lucky.

Get ready to jingle all the way! Lifetime is set to unwrap its festive holiday movie lineup for the network's annual It's a Wonderful Lifetime programming event. The slate features heartwarming new movies every weekend beginning Saturday, November 28 at 8/7c. Highlights include Tia Mowry and Henderson Wade in Christmas from the Heart, the touching story of a widow who encounters the recipient of her late husband's heart; Mistletoe in Mexico featuring Joely Fisher and Cristián de la Fuente, which follows a sociology professor who stumbles upon love during a Mexican vacation after she finds out her son has recently eloped and Checking Inn for Christmas, a delightful film starring fan favorites Vivica A. Fox and Jackée Harry alongside Josh Henderson and Juliah Cheree Taylor.
These films join the previously announced and eagerly awaited sequel Christmas Everyday: Married and Bright, featuring Brandy Norwood, Debbi Morgan, Sy'rai Smith, Robert C. Riley, and produced by Dr. Holly Carter and Ryan Ramsey. Other movies include Love on the Christmas List with Jana Kramer.
This year, Lifetime has expanded into vertical storytelling on Lifetime's mobile app. The holiday slate will include Casting Christmas and Christmas, Delivered, two vertical originals from vertTV, the filmmaker-led studio and mobile-first streaming platform founded by Jeffrey Schenck, Barry Barnholtz, Peter Sullivan, Brian Nolan and Ben Rosenthal. Christa B. Allen in Night of January 16th Play Through Sunday; Remembering Sitcom Writer and Producer Bernie Orenstein

Christa B. Allen has been starring in Night of January 16th in New York City's Theatre Row. The play opened with previews on October 7 and opened on October 11. The limited run ends this Sunday the 18th. Catch one of the final performances, as it is a very unique and interactive play with the audience deciding if her character is guilty or not guilty.
On the night of January 16th, financier Bjorn Faulkner falls from the penthouse of his own skyscraper and Karen Andre, his former secretary, lover, and closest confidante, is accused of murder. But the real question is not only whether Karen killed him. It is whether the depth of her love, loyalty, and understanding makes her guilty or the only person capable of telling the truth about who Bjorn really was. To Karen, Bjorn was not simply a corrupt tycoon or reckless seducer, but a man of terrifying vitality: brilliant, dangerous, wounded, and larger than the world that sought to condemn him. As witnesses attempt to reduce him to scandal, fraud, or victim, Karen’s memory of Bjorn becomes both her defence and her undoing.
Ruth Stage's production reimagines Ayn Rand’s courtroom thriller as a bold, heightened descent into a dark, purgatorial parallel reality. Karen is placed not only on legal trial, but on spiritual and psychological trial, pursued by desire, guilt, memory, and threatening forces beyond the visible world. And in the play’s most thrilling device, the audience itself becomes the jury; drawn into the trial, implicated in the verdict, and forced to decide what kind of truth they believe.
We caught up with Christa in NYC this week and she was gracious enough to answer three of our questions. See the videos below!

Apple TV Comedy Stick Returns November 4; News from New York Comic Con 2026 Day One

Apple TV unveiled the trailer for season two of the beloved sports comedy Stick, starring and executive produced by Owen Wilson and created by Jason Keller. The 10-episode second season premieres Wednesday, November 4, 2026 with two episodes, followed by one episode weekly until December 30, 2026 on Apple TV.
Stick is a heartfelt, feel-good comedy about a found family and their relationships, set within the world of golf as it has never been shown before. Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After the collapse of his marriage and getting fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce hedges his bets, and future, entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi (Peter Dager).
In season two, Santi takes the next step in his pursuit of professional golf, only to discover how quickly the game changes when talent becomes expectation. As Santi chases his dream, Pryce finds himself wondering what might still be possible for him. Urged on by his former rival Clark Ross (Timothy Olyphant), Pryce does something nobody expects: he bets on himself, launching an improbable comeback in hopes of becoming the oldest golfer ever to win a major. But the road back proves far harder than he imagined. And the closer Pryce gets to the golfer he once was, the more he is forced to confront why he never fulfilled the promise everyone once saw in him. With brilliant new coach Amanda (Rhea Seehorn) and trusted caddie Mitts (Marc Maron) in his corner, Pryce sets out to prove - to the golf world and, more importantly, to himself - that maybe he really was as good as everyone always said he was.
Led by an ensemble cast that includes Wilson, Dager, Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer and Olyphant, the second season of Stick welcomes Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Seehorn, alongside John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander and Missi Pyle, and features return guest appearances from legendary broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman, and golf enthusiasts Matt Scharff and Dan Rapaport.
