Welcome to a special New Year's style edition of the News Blog! As we end 2017 and start 2018, today we will give you a marathon recap on TV for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day! Some of the major TV stunts include Antenna TV's Newhart Year's Eve Marathon on New Year's Eve from from 5am-5am and New Year Kick-off with Coach marathon on New Year's Day from 5am-11:30pm. COZI TV will have a launch marathon of The Nanny on New Year's Day, as we mentioned, from 9am-8m. getTV launches three Norman Lear classics: All in the Family, Good Times and Sanford & Son with a New Year's Day marathon from 6am-4am. TV One will have a New Year's Eve A Different World marathon from 9am-5pm. OWN has its 227 Sunday marathon binge from 2pm-3am. WPIX in New York will of course have their annual The Honeymooners marathon starting at 11pm on New Year's Eve through 5pm on New Year's Day. Also in New York City, WLNY-TV 55/10 will have a marathon of The Odd Couple once again starting at 10pm on New Year's Eve night through 9pm on New Year's Day for the sixth straight year.

E! has a Parks and Recreation New Year's Eve marathon from 2am (late Saturday night) into 6am (early Monday morning). Decades Network has its weekend binge, with Diagnosis Murder this weekend on Saturday and New Year's Eve. FXX will bring us another marathon of The Simpsons that starts on New Year's Eve at 6pm and runs through New Year's Day at 11:59pm. IFC will turn it over to comedy with a Three Stooges marathon on New Year's Eve running from 6am-8pm. Then on New Year's Day, IFC will have a Two and a Half Men marathon from 12am-12am. Comedy Central rings in the new year with Chappelle's Show on New Year's Day starting at 9am with all 28 episodes. USA Network has a Law & Order: SVU Resolve to Watch New Year's Eve and Day marathon starting at 9am New Year's Eve through 8pm on New Year's Day. Syfy has its annual Twilight Zone New Year's Eve and Day marathon that starts at 4am New Year's Eve continuing through Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 4am. ASPiRE will have an In Living Color New Year's Eve marathon from 12pm-1am and on New Year's Day from 6pm-1am.

Some others include: Family Feud marathon on New Year's Day from 2-10pm. ION Television will also have a New Year's Day marathon of Criminal Minds from 10am-2am. WE tv has crime dramas on both days, with CSI: Miami, Criminal Minds and Monk airing. AMC has a Breaking Bad marathon on New Year's Eve and Day, both days from 2pm-1am. Viceland will air a marathon of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on New Year's Day from 8am-5am. Movie franchises marathons include The Hunger Games and The Hobbit on TNT on New Year's Eve Day, respectively and Smokey and the Bandit movies on CMT New Year's Day. BBC America will air Titanic on New Year's Eve, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. TBS will air the movie New Year's Eve on New Year's Eve at 8pm, but earlier in the day there are marathons of The Detour from 10am-4pm and Family Guy from 4-8pm. Reality wise, E! has a Keeping Up with the Kardashians marathon on New Year's Day beginning at 6am, while WGN America has a Cops New Year's Eve marathon from 11am-7pm.

Other notable TV marathons and specials include ABC's Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2018 special on New Year's Eve from 8pm-10pm, followed by its annual specials at 10pm and 11:30pm. Movie wise, Pop, TNT, TBS, Freeform and many others will air movies on New Year's Day, while Hallmark Channel continues to air Christmas movies on New Year's Eve. Tune in Sunday and Monday for all of this!

One of the most beloved comedies in television history will light up the airwaves at 10pm on New Year's Eve, Sunday, December 31, when WLNY-TV (Channels 10/55) presents is annual The Odd Couple Marathon marathon from 10 p.m. to New Year's Day 9 p.m. It's 23 hours hours of non-stop laughs!

The marathon will include 46 episodes from the classic series, including the 1973 "My Strife in Court" episode, featuring Felix attempting to act as his own attorney in court (7:30 p.m.) and the 1975 "Felix Remarries" episode when Felix convinces his ex-wife to remarry him (8:30 p.m.). WLNY's The Odd Couple Marathon marathon will also feature the 1973 "The Ides of April" episode where Felix inadvertently gets Oscar called in for an audit from the IRS (6:30 p.m.), 1973's "Let's Make a Deal" episode, where Felix and Oscar appear on a game show in an attempt to win Felix a new bed (11:00 p.m.) and the 1973 "Take My Furniture Please" episode where both Felix and Oscar take turns redecorating their apartment (6:00 p.m.).

New comedy LA to Vegas, starring Dylan McDermott premieres Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 9:00PM ET/PT on Fox. LA to Vegas is a workplace comedy about an airline crew and the eccentric passengers who, every weekend, take the round-trip flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with one goal in mind - to come back a winner. It won't be turbulence-free, but this unlikely group of miscreants and dreamers will eventually go from being strangers on a plane to a supportive, if unconventional, family... well, at least from Friday to Sunday. The series stars Kim Matula (UnREAL), Ed Weeks (The Mindy Project), Nathan Lee Graham (The Comeback, Hitch) and Olivia Macklin (The Young Pope) with Peter Stormare (The Big Lebowski) and Emmy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Dylan McDermott (The Practice, American Horror Story). 2017 got a little real, didn't it? Mad real. Like when keeping it real goes wrong. So kick off 2018 with some laughs! Order up some WacArnold's, maybe a nice Samuel Jackson beer, and relive the Chappelle's Show phenomenon chronologically, start to finish, with an all-day, full-series marathon New Year's Day on Comedy Central. "It's a Celebration, Bitches" begins at 9:00 a.m. ET/PT, with all 28 episodes of Chappelle's Show running nonstop and culminating in a Midnight presentation of the seminal Chappelle stand-up special Killin' Them Softly. Chappelle's Show episodes will continue to air into the wee hours, and all episodes plus the special will be available on cc.com and the CC App.

Beloved by fans and critics alike, Chappelle's Show aired from 2003-2006 on Comedy Central and became an instant cultural sensation. I LOVE LUCY CHRISTMAS SPECIAL, a new one-hour special featuring two back-to-back colorized episodes of the classic series, will be broadcast Friday, Dec. 22 (8:00-9:01 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

I LOVE LUCY CHRISTMAS SPECIAL features “The Christmas Episode” and the newly colorized “The Fashion Show.” Both were colorized with a nod to the 1950s period in which they were filmed. The main titles and end credits are seamlessly combined into one set at the beginning and end of the hour, with no interruption between the episodes.

“The Christmas Episode” finds the Ricardos and Mertzes decorating Lucy and Ricky’s Christmas tree and reminiscing about how their lives have changed since the arrival of the Ricardos’ son, Little Ricky (Keith Thibodeaux). Flashbacks recall the night Lucy tells Ricky she is pregnant, the time Lucy shows up unexpectedly as part of a barbershop quartet and the day Ricky and the Mertzes rehearse taking Lucy to the maternity ward.

“The Christmas Episode” was first broadcast on CBS on Christmas Eve, 1956. The episode was not included in the series’ long history of rebroadcasts, first on CBS Daytime and later in syndication. Long thought to be lost, the program was rediscovered by CBS in 1989.

In “The Fashion Show,” Lucy convinces Ricky to allow her to spend up to $100 on a dress at the fashionable Don Loper Salon in Beverly Hills. However, when an opportunity arises for Lucy to participate in a Loper fashion show featuring glamorous movie star wives, Lucy winds up spending five times that! Lucy hopes that if she gets a mild sunburn, Ricky will feel sorry for her and forgive her for spending so much, though, as always, she goes a bit too far!

“The Fashion Show” was originally broadcast Feb. 28, 1955, and became an immediate favorite not only of viewers, but of Lucille Ball herself. The episode features a few of her real-life personal friends: Mrs. Gordon MacRae, Mrs. William Holden, Mrs. Van Heflin, Mrs. Forrest Tucker and Don Loper himself.

The Dick Van Dyke Show - "The Dick Van Dyke Show -- Now in Living Color!" (CBS, 9:00PM ET/PT)
THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW – NOW IN LIVING COLOR!, a new one-hour special with two newly colorized back-to-back classic episodes of the beloved 1960s series, will be broadcast Friday, Dec. 22 (9:01-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series creator and co-star Carl Reiner personally selected the two episodes to showcase the tremendous comedic talents of the late Mary Tyler Moore.

“I picked two of the funniest episodes we did, and I remember them fondly because they both showcased our wonderful Mary. I treasure her memory,” said Reiner.

The special features the season one episode “My Blonde-Haired Brunette,” written by Reiner, and the season three episode “October Eve,” written by Bill Persky and Sam Denoff. The main titles and end credits of the two episodes are seamlessly combined into one set – at the beginning and end of the hour – with no interruption between the episodes.

The Emmy Award-winning series starred Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore as television comedy writer Rob and his wife Laura Petrie; Larry Matthews as their son Ritchie; Morey Amsterdam and Rose Marie as Buddy Sorrell and Sally Rogers, co-writers on the fictional “The Alan Brady Show”; Carl Reiner as Alan Brady; Richard Deacon as Mel Cooley; Jerry Paris as Dr. Jerry Helper; and Ann Morgan Guilbert as Millie Krumbermacher Helper.

In “My Blonde-Haired Brunette,” Laura dyes her hair blonde when she fears the romance between Rob and her is fading. The episode was first presented on Oct. 10, 1961, during the series’ first season.

In “October Eve,” a painting of Laura returns to haunt her when, despite her having posed fully clothed, the artist (played by Reiner) takes the liberty of “undraping” her. The episode was first presented on April 8, 1964, during season three.

“In ‘October Eve,’ I got a chance to perform on the show as someone other than Alan Brady, and I loved the character of Carpetna the artist as soon as I read it,” said Reiner. “When I saw it in color, it was better than I ever dreamed it could be.”

Zoey is college-bound, so Dre sets out to create the best family Christmas ever, even having Johan and his best friend, Gigi, over for the celebration. Meanwhile, Bow babysits Gigi’s newborn and remembers just how difficult mothering a baby is.

The Big Bang Theory - "The Emotion Detection Automation" (CBS, 8:00PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Sheldon beta-tests an MIT invention after hearing it can help him read people’s emotions. Also, Leonard can’t hide his feelings when Penny announces her brother is coming to town, and Raj invites his ex-girlfriends over to give him dating advice. Laura Spencer, Katie Micucci, Alessandra Torresani and Katie Leclerc return as Raj’s ex-girlfriends.

Kevin Can Wait - "Kevin Goes Nuts" (CBS, 8:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
After Vanessa suggests that Sara has a secret boyfriend, Kevin goes undercover to find out the truth. Also, Jack desperately searches for an illness he can claim as his own after the “cool” kids with peanut allergies learn he’s been lying about sharing their malady. Nick Turturro guest stars as Vanessa’s old friend, Vinnie.

Young Sheldon - "Pilot" (CBS, 9:00PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
9-year-old Sheldon Cooper is a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science but learns that isn’t always helpful growing up in East Texas, a land where church and football are king.

Man with a Plan - "Winter Has Come" (CBS, 9:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
When a blizzard prevents the Burns family from visiting the grandparents’ house for Christmas, Adam and Andi scramble to avoid an epic holiday disaster.

American Dad - "Santa, Schmanta" (TBS, 8:00PM ET/PT)
When the Smiths are too busy preparing for Christmas to pay attention to Roger, Roger turns his attention to Steve's friend Snot. Snot teaches Roger about Hanukkah, prompting Roger to convert to Judaism. Roger then decides that he can make Hanukkah more popular than Christmas by stealing Santa Claus' powers and becoming Schmanta Claus. But, being Roger, he abuses his new Schmanta powers leading the Smiths and Snot to find the real Santa Claus in an attempt to take down Roger.

Meanwhile, Geoff and Erica struggle with their relationship long distance.

Speechless - "F-I-- FIRST S-E-- SECOND F-- FIRST DAY" (ABC, 8:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
When Maya encourages the parents of the new special needs kids at Lafayette High to demand full-time aides, the school administrators tell her anything the new students get will spell losses for her beloved JJ. Meanwhile, Dylan develops a hooky habit, unprepared as she is to return to the same school for a second year; JJ pushes Kenneth toward romance with his teacher; and Jimmy endeavors to enjoy a long-awaited uninterrupted shower.

Phil and Claire realize that Alex may be more self-sufficient in college than they give her credit for when they drop in for a quick visit. Meanwhile, Manny is determined to avoid a long tearful goodbye after Gloria and Jay move him into his college dorm. Finally, Mitch may have accidentally accelerated a planned renovation, and Hayley gets an unexpected opportunity when she befriends a wealthy female member at the country club.

American Housewife - "The Uprising" (ABC, 9:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Katie struggles with Taylor and Anna-Kat’s defiance, as Anna-Kat decides she’s now a vegetarian (under the influence of Tara Summers) and Taylor dies her hair blonde without Katie’s permission. Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! It's Christmas weekend, so it should come as no surprise that it's a slower than usual news week. You'll notice this week that two of our usual sections (the ones about home media news and releases) are missing, but don't worry, that's only because this is a slow week and we have nothing to report about new home media releases! They'll be back soon, hopefully as early as next week. We do have some (rather surprising) news about a potential reboot of The Office, we're learning more about the Roseanne reboot, and of course, we've got a look at what you can watch on TV this upcoming week if you're on vacation like everybody in the media press appears to be. Let's get going!

It's time for another edition of Fri-Yay! That means we will take a look back on some sitcom happenings in recent days or weeks or other fun sitcomy stuff. It's a sitcom lover's paradise! Happy Fri-Yay!

2017 was a pretty strong year for comedies, and 2018 promises to continue what made 2017 so great - lots of 2017 favorites will be returning in 2018, and there are also some promising new series that I'll be very curious to check out in 2018. In my final column of the year, I'll be looking forward into the new year and naming which shows whose return I am most anticipating!

If there is a single show I am looking forward to the most in 2018, it would have to be The Good Place. The Good Place was my #1 favorite show of 2017, and every week I never know where the story is going to take me - all while I'm laughing and cheering for the characters I've grown to love. The Good Place really feels like it's on a roll, and I'm hoping it's a hot streak that will continue well into 2018. Additionally, its timeslot partner Superstore is on an absolute roll right now. Its third season might just be its strongest yet - it's somehow managing to combine some of the darkness of the characters' backstories with a lot of laugh-out-loud moments and top-notch comedy. It's been a while since a network comedy was able to combine some truly deep and dark material with laughs as much as NBC's Thursday night line-up currently is.

I'm also really looking forward to see what Bojack Horseman has up its sleeve in 2018. The animated horse sitcom had a surprisingly optimistic fourth season (okay, it still had some pretty dark moments...) and I've become so invested in its character and its world that I'm really interested to see where the show goes next. The same could be said for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which has turned the corner from some really dark (and amazing) places into a positive upward trend. Hopefully, these characters we've come to care about will finally get the relief they deserve.

2017 saw a lot of great comedy, and 2018 will see many of those great comedies continue. Hopefully, those comedies will continue to reach the heights they saw in 2018 and give us an equally incredible year of TV comedy.

Adult Swim will be spoofing Lifetime with a new special. Aspiring ballerina Mary Jane Stevens (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) moves to a new town with her emotionally abusive mother (Artemis Pebdani) in hopes of escaping her physically abusive father (Jimmi Simpson). But the abusive abuse doesn't stop there. She begins taking dance classes with the sensually abusive Delice Svensson (Artemis Pebdani) and finds herself DANCING FOR HER LIFE! Will she fall victim to life's thrusting fists, or will the abusee become the abuser? Mother May I Dance with Mary Jane's Fist: A Lifetone Original Movie for Adult Swim was written by and stars Ellis and Pebdani, based on their play.

We mentioned on SitcomsOnline Digest about 227 now on OWN, but we wanted to give more info...including details on a Christmas marathon. As of December 2, OWN has taken us back to another time with the network premiere of 227. The classic sitcom, starring Marla Gibbs, Jackée Harry and more - airs every weekend this winter, so get cozy and ready to binge on iconic performances and unforgettable laughs. OWN will also air a Christmas Day marathon of 227 from 2pm-3am (and the regular Sunday marathon before that, so it's a Christmas Eve and Christmas Day marathon, technically). 227 generally airs Saturdays 1pm-8pm and Sundays 2pm-3am. Tune in every Saturday and Sunday only on OWN!

Bravo Media's Emmy Award-winning Inside the Actors Studio, hosted by James Lipton welcomes critically-acclaimed actor, author and producer Ted Danson on Thursday, January 11 at 8pm ET/PT. The multi-hyphenate star recounts his childhood growing up in Arizona, to his early career as well as his breakout role as 'Sam Malone' in Cheers. Danson reveals his favorite memories from the show, including working with director James Burrows, his character's love interest Diane, played by Shelley Long, and why he felt it was time to move on from this iconic role. Ted Danson is an award-winning film and television actor. He has received numerous industry accolades, including three Golden Globe Awards and two Emmy Awards. In addition to his work on screen, Danson is also a passionate environmental activist. WGN America announced the acquisition of Murder She Wrote, the classic crime drama starring Angela Lansbury, set to launch on the network Monday, January 1, 2018 at 9:00am ET / 8:00am CT. Kicking-off with the first four episodes from season one, and airing all 265 episodes throughout the 2018 year, the cherished series is the latest addition to WGN America's lineup. WGN America is the leader in crime drama and the Murder She Wrote episodes will air in chronological order, every weekday at 12:00pm-3:00pm ET / 11:00am-2:00pm CT, replacing In the Heat of the Night, which moves to 9am-12pm. Walker Texas Ranger will be off the line-up.

Murder She Wrote follows mystery writer and amateur detective Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury) - a down-to-earth, middle-aged widow – who ferrets out the criminals in idyllic Cabot Cove, Maine, which apparently is the murder capital of the United States for the show's 12-season run. Though while traveling, she uncovers a fair number of killers as well. WGN America also airs Blue Bloods, Elementary, In the Heat of the Night, Person of Interest, Bones and Cops, and sitcoms such as M*A*S*H, Rules of Engagement, How I Met Your Mother and Raising Hope.

CBS Corporation announced that one of broadcast television's top dramas, NCIS: New Orleans, is airing on TNT, which has acquired off-network cable rights to the series. NCIS: New Orleans premiered on TNT in early December. TNT has the rights to the first three seasons of the acclaimed drama starring Scott Bakula and each subsequent season after the drama has aired on CBS Network. The drama focuses on the local Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) field office that inquires into cases involving military personnel in The Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence. Leading the team is Special Agent Dwayne Pride, a.k.a. "King" (Bakula), a native of New Orleans who is driven by his need to do what is right. This colorful city harbors a dark side and is a magnet for service personnel on leave. But when overindulgence is followed by trouble, Pride's team is at its best.

NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution has sold Chicago P.D. to FOX Television Stations. The show will air Monday-Friday in national syndication beginning September 2018. The hit, one-hour dramatic television series is Dick Wolf's second installment in the Chicago franchise. Chicago P.D. is a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department's elite Intelligence Unit. The Intelligence Unit combats the city's most heinous offenses: organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders and beyond. Chicago P.D. is set to air Monday-Friday on local broadcast stations including FOX owned and operated stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Washington D.C., Houston, Phoenix, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Orlando and Charlotte, among many others.

Comedy Central has acquired the rights to The Office beginning this Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 15, 2018. The comedy will get a launch marathon from 9am-11pm that day. The #1 brand in comedy has acquired all nine seasons of the instant-classic comedy series that ran for nine seasons on NBC from 2005 to 2013. Select episodes will be available to stream on cc.com and the CC App. The Office airs Monday–Thursday from 5p–7p and 12a–1:30a, Fridays from 3p–6p and in Late Night (times vary), Saturdays in Late Night (times vary), and Sundays from 8a–4p and Late Night (times vary). The Office joins the line-up filled with other sitcoms such as Scrubs, That '70s Show and Key & Peele. Reruns of The Office were previously on TBS.

Roseanne, the timeless sitcom that broke new ground and dominated ratings in its original run, will return to ABC with all-new episodes, in a special hour-long premiere, Tuesday, March 27 from 8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT. Roseanne will air in its regular time slot, 8:00-8:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, April 3, followed by the final episodes of The Middle, which will move to 8:30 p.m. Fresh off the Boat will wrap-up its fourth season in late March (if not, it could move to 9:30pm). Production on the highly anticipated revival's nine episodes was slated to wrap Friday in Studio City, California.

Featuring the complete original cast, new series regulars and notable returning guest stars, the revival will explore life, death and everything in between through the relatable, hilarious and brutally honest lens of the Conner household. “The Christmas Episode” finds the Ricardos and Mertzes decorating Lucy and Ricky’s Christmas tree and reminiscing about how their lives have changed since the arrival of the Ricardos’ son, Little Ricky (Keith Thibodeaux). However, when an opportunity arises for Lucy to participate in a Loper fashion show featuring glamorous movie star wives, Lucy winds up spending five times that! Lucy hopes that if she gets a mild sunburn, Ricky will feel sorry for her and forgive her for spending so much, though, as always, she goes a bit too far!

“The Fashion Show” was originally broadcast Feb. 28, 1955, and became an immediate favorite not only of viewers, but of Lucille Ball herself. The episode features a few of her real-life personal friends: Mrs. Gordon MacRae, Mrs. William Holden, Mrs. Van Heflin, Mrs. Forrest Tucker and Don Loper himself.

Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! We've been talking about it for almost a month, and it even looked like it was officially off for a few weeks even, but this week, Disney officially announced their plan to acquire the entertainment assets of Fox, officially making Homer Simpson a Disney character. That is far from all in this busy news week, as we're also hearing about when Roseanne will be returning to ABC, a new home for reruns of The Office, and more. Also, we are retiring our Follow Me this week for a new feature, Weekly TV Planner, where we'll give you ideas for things that you should be watching this weekend and next week, including upcoming marathons, season debuts of favorite sitcoms, debuts of old favorites on cable or digital broadcast networks, ideas for series to watch on streaming media, and sometimes just a gentle nudge to watch something that has always been there that you may have not been watching lately. Let's get going!

It's time for another edition of Fri-Yay! That means we will take a look back on some sitcom happenings in recent days or weeks or other fun sitcomy stuff. It's a sitcom lover's paradise! Happy Fri-Yay!

As we wind down to the end of 2017, with most networks now off for the season, I thought I take a look back at how 2017 was for sitcoms overall. All in all, there were some genuinely great new sitcoms to be excited over this year. Netflix's One Day at a Time was a wonderful addition to the sitcom slate, and one of the best multi-camera sitcoms in several years. Additionally, Netflix's GLOW was a very different kind of sitcom (arguably something of a dramedy, but it was structured similarly to a sitcom) but still managed to be a worthy addition to the canon. While those are the two major new sitcoms that stand out in my mind as being especially noteworthy, they were pretty excellent additions, ones that I can (hopefully) see myself enjoying for years and years.

However, much of my sitcom enjoyment from the past few years involves returning series. My favorite show of the entire year was The Good Place, which I've raved about enough times, but - to rave again - is the most innovative and unique network sitcom in quite some time. There's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which is going to seriously incredible dark and moving places this season. There's long-running but still great stalwarts like Bob's Burgers and Brooklyn Nine-Nine that continue to impressively chug along producing excellent episodes every week. And then there's left-field, strange but incredible cable comedies like Broad City, Search Party, and Nathan for You that continue to innovate, experiment and keep us on our toes week after week.

There are plenty of great sitcoms on the air. Peak TV has pretty much guaranteed that, at any time, there will be an endless stream of quality content on the airwaves - and if you're not satisfied with that, you have an entire library of old classics waiting for you. All in all, it was another good year to be a sitcom fan.

NBC has set a premiere date for a new comedy. A.P. Bio, from Executive Producers Seth Meyers, Lorne Michaels and Mike Shoemaker and starring Glenn Howerton and Patton Oswalt, will have a special preview on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 9:30pm ET/PT. The season premiere will be Thursday, March 1, 2018, after the Olympics conclude, at 8:30pm ET/PT, with a second new episode at 9:30pm ET/PT. The latter will remain its time period through the rest of its season through May 3, 2018. When disgraced Harvard philosophy scholar Jack Griffin (Glenn Howerton) loses out on his dream job, he is forced to return to Toledo, Ohio, and work as a high school Advanced Placement biology teacher. As he comes crashing in to Whitlock High School, Jack makes it absolutely clear he will not be teaching any biology. Realizing he has a room full of honor roll students at his disposal, Jack decides instead to use the kids for his own benefit. Eager to prove that he is still king of the castle, Principal Durbin (Patton Oswalt) struggles to control the force of nature that is Jack Griffin.

Diff'rent Strokes is coming to The MeTV Network this January! The Gary Coleman sitcom will launch on January 1 airing weekday mornings at 6:30am and Sundays from 3-4pm, both following The Facts of Life. The series was previously on Antenna TV a few years back. This is the only addition to the January 2018 Winter MeTV schedule. Some shows are returning from hiatus, though, and they are: Peter Gunn, Mr. Lucky, Kolchak: The Night Stalker and Land of the Giants. With some shows returning, that means a few shows will be off the schedule, and they are: T.J. Hooker, I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show, Highway Patrol and The Outer Limits. Some other changes include Mama's Family weeknights at 9:30pm and Sundays 4-5pm, as ALF will now only be Sundays from 6-7am. View the full MeTV Network January 2018 schedule.

Providing a peek into the cramped apartments, grinding routines and urban neuroses of New Yorkers, the hit comedy High Maintenance kicks off its ten-episode second season Friday, Jan. 19 from 11:00-11:30 p.m. ET/PT, exclusively on HBO. Ben Sinclair returns as The Guy, a bearded, pot-dealing deliveryman whose growing clientele is keeping him busier than ever. Introducing new customers and revisiting familiar ones, the second season of High Maintenance weaves together a labyrinth of humor, poignant observations and heartfelt moments in stories that explore the lives of intriguing and colorful individuals from all walks of life. Created by Katja Blichfeld (Emmy(R)-winning casting director of 30 Rock) and Ben Sinclair (Home Again, Sisters), High Maintenance is executive produced by Katja Blichfeld, Ben Sinclair and Russell Gregory.

A comedy of human interaction, the new season of High Maintenance delves deeper into the contemporary anxieties New Yorkers are experiencing, from political tension to soaring real estate prices, while emphasizing the importance of savoring the highs of life in this increasingly volatile world. Pulling back the curtain on The Guy's personal life, the second season reveals a few more people and details of what happens when he's not on the clock. New guest stars this season include Danielle Brooks (Orange Is the New Black), John Gallagher, Jr. (HBO's The Newsroom), Jessica Hecht (The Forgotten), Luzer Twersky (Félix & Meira) and Kate Lyn Sheil (Girlfriend), with Abdullah Saeed (Bong Appétit) and Yael Stone (Orange Is the New Black) returning.

Sanford and Son, Good Times and All in the Family are leaving Antenna TV at the end of this month, but it looks like getTV have picked up the rights to those series come Jan. 1. All three series will start on Jan. 1 with a New Year's Day marathon from 6am-4am, with various blocks. All three series will join the schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 2. Good Times will air weekdays at 5:00pm & 5:30pm and again at 12:00am & 12:30am. Sanford and Son will air weekdays at 6:00pm & 6:30pm and again at 11:00pm & 11:30pm. And All in the Family gets the 7:00pm & 7:30pm half-hours and again at 10pm & 10:30pm. Also being quietly added to getTV will be the Brad Garrett/Joely Fisher sitcom 'Til Death, airing weeknights at 1:00am & 1:30am. It looks like Designing Women will be off the regular schedule but the sitcom will get a marathon on Monday, Jan. 8 in the early hours of 12am-6am. Other series airing on getTV still are 7th Heaven, In the Heat of the Night, Airwolf and Ghost Whisperer. Also getting some play is the ABC '80s variety series Dolly starring Dolly Parton.

Misery loves a company and that company is Hampton DeVille. From Pat Bishop, Matt Ingebretson, and Jake Weisman comes a dark, edgy workplace comedy unlike any other. Comedy Central's newest scripted series, Corporate, takes you inside Hampton Deville - your average, soulless multi-national corporation - and follows the miserable lives of two downtrodden employees. Corporate premieres Wednesday, January 17 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT with back-to-back episodes, as well as special bonus content. Beginning today (Wednesday, Dec. 13), TV subscribers can stream the first four episodes of the series exclusively on cc.com and the Comedy Central App or watch via their preferred TV provider's video-on-demand (VOD) service.

Corporate stars series' creators/writers/executive producers Matt Ingebretson and Jake Weisman as two Junior Executives-in-Training at Hampton DeVille, a heartless, corporate hell-hole led by tyrannical CEO Christian DeVille (Lance Reddick) and his top lieutenants, sycophants John and Kate (Adam Lustick and Anne Dudek). As Matt and Jake navigate an ever-revolving series of disasters their only ally is Grace (Aparna Nancherla), a Hampton DeVille Human Resources rep who is beleaguered by both her job and her exhausting relationship with the very needy Matt and Jake. Guest stars across the first season include Anna Akana, Jon Daly, Philip Baker Hall, Natasha Lyonne, Aimee Mann, Rory Scovel, Baron Vaughn, Kate Walsh and Fred Willard.

In the premiere episode ("The Void") Matt and Jake are given their first bit of power as Junior Executives-in-Training when they are tasked with firing an employee who sent out an insensitive tweet from Hampton DeVille's Twitter account. With the internet outraged by the tweet and calling for a boycott of the company's latest product on the day of launch, the guys have to literally talk the fired employee off the ledge with the only thing a depressed corporate drone has to live for: a slice of birthday cake.

TBS will premiere the first five seasons of the Golden Globe-winning and critically acclaimed police comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, from Universal Television, beginning with the series pilot on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 7pm ET/PT. The show will air consecutive episodes every Thursday from 7-11pm ET/PT on TBS. Episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will also be available on the TBS app. From Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation), Brooklyn Nine-Nine won Golden Globes for Best Comedy Series and Best Actor (Andy Samberg) in its first season. Andre Braugher has also been nominated for three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in his role as Captain Ray Holt.
