We're in the dog days of summer, but there are still sitcom airings, new and repeats. We will be back with our normal weekly ratings report with the first four nights numbers and analysis in the fall, but we still will have our regular how the sitcoms did all summer long! Here are our summer ratings:

• The Simpsons (Fox)  - preempted.
• The Cleveland Show (Fox) - preempted.
• Bob's Burgers (Fox) - preempted.
• Family Guy (Fox) 2 airings - The regular time was preempted, but it aired at a special time of 7pm and the repeat posted 1.71 million and a 0.8 18-49 rating. A 7:30pm repeat followed with 2.2 million and a 1.0 18-49 rating.
• American Dad (Fox) - preempted.

• How I Met Your Mother (CBS) - A repeat at 8pm did 3.7 million and a 1.0 18-49 rating, down a tenth in 18-49 from previous week.
• Raising Hope (Fox) 2 airings - A repeat at 8pm did 1.82 million and a 0.7 18-49 rating, down a tenth in 18-49 from previous week. The 8:30pm repeat did 1.51 million and a 0.6 18-49 rating, back down a tenth in 18-49 from previous week.
• 2 Broke Girls (CBS) - A repeat at 9pm did 4.13 million and a 1.1 18-49 rating, down two tenths in 18-49 from previous week.
• New Girl (Fox) - A repeat at 9 did only 1.33 million and just a 0.6 18-49 rating, down a tenth in 18-49 from previous week. It just doesn't repeat well for an anchor at all. 
• Mike & Molly (CBS) 2 airings - A special 8:30 repeat did 3.6 million and a 0.9 18-49 rating, down a tenth in 18-49 from previous week's 2 Broke Girls in the slot. The regular 9:30pm encore did 4.69 million and a 1.2 18-49 rating, down a tenth in 18-49 week-to-week... but it did build on its lead-in. 
• The Mindy Project (Fox) - A repeat on Fox did 1.32 million and a 0.6 18-49 rating at 9:30pm, down a tenth in 18-49 from previous week.

• None.

Wednesday Sitcoms

• The Middle (ABC) - A summer repeat did 3.69 million and a 0.9 18-49 rating, on par in 18-49 with previous week.
• Last Man Standing (ABC) - A repeat at 8:30pm did 3.25 million and a 0.8 18-49 rating, down a tenth in 18-49 from previous week.
• Modern Family (ABC) - At 9pm, a summer repeat did 3.43 million and a 1.0 rating, up a tenth in 18-49 from previous week as we get closer to the fall season.
• The Neighbors (ABC) - A summer repeat did 2.44 million and a 0.7 18-49 rating at 9:30pm, on par in 18-49 with previous week. Extra exposure for the fall when it moves to Fridays following Last Man Standing.

• The Big Bang Theory (CBS) - A repeat at 8 did 6.71 million and a 1.6 rating, on par in 18-49 with previous week and still the leader in sitcoms for the week.
• Two and a Half Men (CBS) - A repeat at 8:30pm did 5.88 million and a 1.4 18-49 rating, down a tenth in 18-49 from previous week. 
• Parks and Recreation (NBC) - preempted.
• New Girl (Fox) - A repeat at 9pm did 1.27 million and a 0.5 18-49 rating, on par in 18-49 with previous week. 
• The Mindy Project (Fox) - A repeat at 9:30pm did 1.36 million and a 0.6 18-49 rating, back up a tenth in 18-49 from previous week and actually built from its lead-in.

Friday Sitcoms

• Last Man Standing (ABC) - The first Friday encore of the summer did a prelim 3.23 million and a prelim 0.6 18-49 rating.
• The Neighbors (ABC) - The first Friday encore of the summer did a prelim 2.3 million and a prelim 0.4 18-49 rating, which could be better but let's give it a few weeks to see how it does.

Saturday Sitcoms

• The Middle (ABC) - A special Saturday at 8pm encore did a prelim 2.7 million and a prelim 0.6 18-49 rating.

Airing tonight (Sunday) are no comedies as repeats of Fox Animation Domination are preempted.

Summing it up. Repeats of The Big Bang Theory & Two and a Half Men was impressive for the week. Everything else was OK (such as repeats of Modern Family, Mike & Molly) or just plain old terrible (such as repeats of New Girl and The Mindy Project).



Feeling the repeat blues? Look for original sitcoms on TV this summer. Some highlights include: On cable, Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy are all-new this Wednesday beginning at 8pm. TV Land has all-new episodes of the summer season of Hot in Cleveland this Wednesday at 10pm, followed by a new The Exes at 10:30pm and a brand new The Soul Man at 11pm only on TV Land. BET has a new episode of The Game on Tuesday at 10pm. TBS airs an all-new episode of Sullivan & Son Thursday at 10. Nick at Nite has the Scott Baio sitcom See Dad Run every Sunday at 8pm but a repeat is tonight, while Wendell & Vinnie airs at 8:30pm with a repeat this week. New episodes of Sam & Cat and The Haunted Hathaways air every Saturday beginning at 8pm on Nick! FX's Charlie Sheen sitcom Anger Management airs Thursdays at 9:30pm and is brand new this week. Welcome to Digital Digest! We're quickly approaching the fall TV season, but before we get there, we've still got a busy few of hits from last season coming to DVD, and today, we review one of those with our review of Revenge - The Complete Second Season. Let's get going!

DIGITAL NEWS

Complete series sets are becoming the "in" thing now (in fact, we counted eighteen significant ones coming between now and the end of the year, and that isn't even counting ones that have yet to be announced), and Lionsgate isn't going to be left out. In fact, they have three on the way, all on November 5. First up are releases of Saved by the Bell and Boy Meets World. Also, they'll have a Blu-ray release of Weeds. All of these releases will include new special features that were not on the previous releases. It appears that none of these are available to pre-order just yet.

On the other hand, there are a few other releases that ARE available to pre-order that haven't exactly been announced, and also seem to lack firm release dates! In the past week, pre-order listings went up for The Mod Squad and Diagnosis Murder on amazon.com. Neither of these are the complete series releases that are still in the works, but rather half season releases. Among the releases for The Mod Squad are The Mod Squad - Season 3, Volume 1; The Mod Squad - Season 3, Volume 2; The Mod Squad - Season 4, Volume 1; and The Mod Squad - Season 4, Volume 2. For Diagnosis Murder, we have Diagnosis Murder - The Fourth Season, Part 1; Diagnosis Murder - The Fourth Season, Part 2; Diagnosis Murder - The Fifth Season, Part 1; Diagnosis Murder - The Fifth Season, Part 2. Dates are given for these releases on the listings, some of which have already passed even... but none of these are actually out yet. These releases are coming from VEI, which has a tendency to not exactly give firm release dates, but in any event, we would expect these before the end of the year.

Tuesday (August 20) has one sitcom release, with Warner Home Video's release of Mike & Molly - The Complete Third Season. For those interested in dramas, ABC has Revenge - The Complete Second Season and NBC has Parenthood - Season Four. We have a review of Revenge today in Digital Digest.

Allen as Charlotte Grayson. However, there are many recurring stars such as James Tupper as David H. Clarke, Margarita Levieva as Amanda Clarke/Emily Thorne, Roger Bart as Leo "Mason" Treadwell, Dilshad Vadsaria as Padma Lahari, J.R. Bourne as Kenny Ryan, Michael Trucco as Nate Ryan, Wendy Crewson as Helen Crowley, Jennifer Jason Leigh as Kara Wallace Clarke, Emily Alyn Lind as young Amanda Clarke, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Satoshi Takeda. Special guests include Collins Pennie as Eli James, Adrienne Barbeau as Marion Harper, Jessica Tuck as Allison Stoddard, Todd Grinnell as Dr. Thomas, E.J. Bonilla as Marco Romero, Juju Chang, and James Morrison as Gordon Murphy.

Season 2 might have had a sophomore slump in between but it started and ended with a bang. If you gave up on it because of the slump, shame on you. But now you can catch-up and see the dramatic season finale, which will hook you back in for sure. The series moved from Wednesdays at 10pm to a new night and time of Sundays at 9pm. The move started off very well and the show was doing better than season one, but then airing against major events in the winter hurt the series for its second half of the season. Once again, now is the time to catch-up before it returns on Sept. 29! Emily VanCamp is great and easy on the eyes while Madeline Stowe should have been nominated for an Emmy. Every episode has to be seen in order, but I will try to pick the most memorable episodes. WARNING: Don't read the descriptions if you have yet to finish this season! In the season premiere "Destiny," in the wake of last summer's events in the Hamptons and with the ante even higher, what will Emily's next move be...will she be able to manage her heart and keep her emotions from getting in the way of her resolve to avenge her father? In "Confidence," the Graysons are back in the spotlight and at the center of a media storm once again, while Emily's past continues to haunt her. In "Illusion," the ties that bind Victoria and Conrad are tested as they reaffirm their loyalties and commitment to each other, while the all-too-knowing Mason Treadwell digs deeper as Emily and Amanda struggle to keep their pasts a secret.

Skipping to "Union," emotions run deep when Jack and Amanda's wedding reminds Emily of what could have been, while hings for Daniel get complicated at Grayson Global, and Conrad begins a new chapter. In the very next episode "Sacrifice," even with threats on their family closing in, the Graysons are in rare form as they put on a bold showing at their annual Labor Day bash, while Jack and Amanda sail off on their honeymoon but the seas prove to be deadly, and this time Emily can't control the outcome. In "Masquerade," Hamptonites celebrate Halloween with a glamorous masquerade ball hosted by the Graysons, which is a perfect setting for Emily to drag out Victoria's skeletons, while Jack steps up his revenge plan and finds an unexpected ally, and Aiden makes a bold move with a gruesome conclusion. In "Engagement," Emily plots her next move in her new role as Daniel's fiancee, while Aiden struggles with the re-engagement, while Jack learns more than he bargained for, and desperate times call for desperate measures as Conrad's gubernatorial numbers slip after Victoria's big reveal on Nightline. In part one of the season finale, "Truth," a series of dangerous events has been set in motion and it all comes to a head in one catastrophic moment that will change everyone's lives forever. And in the conclusion, which is probably the best episode of the season, the devastation leads to a heartbreaking death that will send shockwaves down the shoreline and force Emily to take a hard look at the truth and the path of revenge she has embarked on.

Episodes are usually around 43 minutes and unedited, as they should be. There are a few that are shorter but that's how they were originally. Runtimes are below:

The DVD comes in a case held by an outer thin box, similar to the first season set and other ABC Studios sets. The thin outer box is in a maroon red color with some black coloring and has a very cool shot Emily in her "thorn" black dress overlooking the ocean in grey and we have headshots of Jack, Charlotte, Conrad, Victoria, Daniel, Ashley, and Nolan. The series logo is on the top and the complete second season mention is above it. The back of the thin outer box has info on the set and series, with a nice quote from TVLine.com. We have four very cool episodic photos along with a nice shot of Emily in a nice dress with Nolan and Daniel surrounding her. There is also a box showcasing the bonus features as well. When we remove the outer box, we get to the case. The case has the same artwork as the thin box, both cover and back, so everything is the exact same. Inside the case we have a nice cast photo on the panels itself. There is also a disc-by-disc breakdown below the cast photo on the panels listing episode titles per disc. We have an insert placed on the left side, with ads for the upcoming book Schooled in Revenge, The Infinity Infinity Collection from Helzberg Diamonds, the Double Infinity perfume available only at Kohl's and an ad for Scandal. As for the discs themselves, disc one is on a little plastic holder that you can flip like a page in a book. Disc two is on the back of that little plastic holder. Discs three and four are the same way in a second little plastic holder, while disc five is on the right panel itself. All five discs are in the grey ocean style background with the series logo and a character. Disc one holds episodes 1-5 with an image of Emily, disc two holds episodes 6-10 with a shot of Victoria & Conrad, disc three holds episodes 11-14 with a shot of Daniel & Ashley, disc four holds episodes 15-18 with a shot of Nolan & Jack and disc five holds episodes 19-22 with a shot of Declan & Charlotte. Each disc has bonus features, but more on that soon!

The menu design is very Hamptons-y once again! We start off with the double infinity logo then we see a wide shot of Emily's house on the Hampton's beach, just like season one. We also have background music from the show playing and background sounds from the beach once again--very cool. Before the main menu, we have auto trailers. On disc one we have trailers for ABC TV DVDs coming this summer, Castle Season 5 and Once Upon a Time Season 2. Back to the main menu, the options are: Play All, Episode Selection, Bonus Features (or Deleted Scenes), Set Up and Sneak Peeks. Sneak Peeks is only on disc five and has an ABC Image promo and Mary Poppins. Set Up gives us the option for subtitles in English, French, Thai, Chinese, Espanol, and Portuguese. You can also register your DVD here. Bonus Features lists what is available on that particular disc (and sometimes the disc only has deleted scenes, so the label is Deleted Scenes), while Episode Selection gives us an episode number and title. There is different artwork on each submenu along with different background music from the series. All this is sort of similar to the first season DVD and other ABC Studio DVDs.

Video and audio quality are both outstanding, similar to other recent ABC TV DVDs and the first season DVD of this series. We have Digital Dolby 5.1 surround sound and it is perfect. For the video, we are in widescreen (1.78:1), enhanced for 16x9 televisions. It is excellent quality but that is expected for newer/current series. As I keep saying, if anything goes wrong with audio/video for current series, then there is a major problem. Each episode has 7 chapter stops, so it is easy to jump through an episode if you are looking for something in particular. Jump your way through to see all of Emily's nice outfits! We also hear the closing theme once again, as on ABC there are next week's promos playing over the credits. Unless you watch on ABC.com, you never hear it. In general, nothing out of the ordinary here but it is all perfectly done.

There are special features on this set as well and they are once again addicting, too! We have bonus features on every disc, so I always like that. Each disc has deleted scenes from the episodes on the particular disc. I like that layout as we don't have to go to one disc to see them all. Disc one has nine deleted scenes (episode 202: 0:30; episode 203: 1:50, 0:55, and 2:18; episode 204: 0:44 and episode 205: 1:44, 2:23, 1:00 and 1:05). Moving on to disc two, we have three more deleted scenes (episode 207: 1:04 and 0:40; and episode 210: 1:07). Disc two also has audio commentary on the episode "Illusions" (#206) from executive producers Sunil Nayar & Melissa Loy along with writer/co-executive producer Michael Foley. On the first season DVD we only had one audio commentary, but we have more on this set! Disc three has deleted scenes as well with nine more deleted scenes (episode 211: 0:23; episode 212 0:47; episode 213: 0:40, 1:22 and 0:20; and episode 214: 1:33, 1:00, 1:17, and 0:15). This disc also has audio commentary from the episode "Sacrifice" (#214) from executive producer/writer Mark B. Perry, writer/executive story editor Joe Fazzio, and stars Nick Wechsler & Margarita Levieva. This was so fun and interesting to listen to on such a great episode! Disc four has five more deleted scenes (episode 215: 1:16; episode 216: 2:04; episode 217: 0:35 and 0:44; and episode 218: 1:21). And finally we have ten more deleted scenes on disc five (episode 219: 0:40; episode 220: 1:41, 1:28, 1:09, and 2:14; episode 221: 0:47; and episode 222: 0:23, 1:25, 0:49 and 0:41). If you're counting at home, we have a total of 36 deleted scenes! WOW! That's down from the 38 we had on season one, but still it's a VERY good amount!

Moving on to more from disc five, that is where the bulk of the special features are. We have one final audio commentary on the season finale episode "Truth, Part Two" (#222). Commenting are creator/executive producer and writer of the episode Mike Kelley and series star Emily VanCamp. These two did the commentary on the pilot episode and were great to listen to then and they are on this pivotal episode as well. We covered the deleted scenes above, so we will cover the rest of the special features. First up, we have "Schooled in Revenge" (3:12). This is a sneak peek at the pages of the upcoming book, where a new class of revenge seekers are schooled by Takeda! The next featurette is "The Sound of Revenge" (14:51), where fans will get an intimate feel for composer iZLER's entire process, from inspiration to culmination, of creating the score for Revenge with a special look at how the epochal episode "Sacrifice" was scored. We see Emily VanCamp, Joe Fazzio, Stefan Schwartz (director), Mike Kelley, Joshua Winget and Philip Klein all on the way! It's like a documentary! Next we have "Haute Hamptons: Dression Miss Davenport" (8:21). The first season DVD showcased Emily VanCamp and Madeleine Stowe, now on season two it is all about Ashley Madekwe. Step into Ashley Davenport's shoes as costume designer Jill Ohanneson shows off the character's trendy chic style with a few key pieces from her wardrobe. And finally we have "Bloopers" (2:52). Join in on laughs with these unseen moments from the sophomore season. It's almost exactly the same length as the first season's blooper reel!

This is another nicely done set for one of most addicting series on television. All the episodes are great (of course every episode isn't perfect, what show has that anyway?) and I think season three will be even better because the second season ended with a bang! As for the DVD, it is well done and similar to the first season DVD. We don't get as many special features as the first season, but we did get more audio commentary this time. We have great audio/video, menus, packaging and special features. We essentially have everything...featurettes (though this wasn't as great this time), deleted scenes, audio commentary and bloopers! 36 deleted scenes is amazing and almost on par with the first season. ABC Studios knows how to make good DVDs, especially for their current series. This show is just good fun and has an attractive cast for both men and women, so everyone has a reason to watch. If you gave up or stopped due to the little slump or even the sporadic scheduling, you can now catch-up in time for the third season premiere. The third season will have better scheduling, too. With the first half airing from September to December and then the series returns after the Oscars for its second half from March-May. Watch it LIVE! Stowe should have been nominated for an Emmy I think and Emily VanCamp is so good and will get even better. I really recommend you order this DVD, if you watched every episode or not. Catch up, start up or recap yourself before the third season premiere on ABC beginning Sept. 29! Order the second season DVD fellow revengers, because Nolan Ross' one-liners are worth it alone!

Claim to Fame: Josh Saviano was best known for playing Paul Pfieffer in the ABC series The Wonder Years. That was essentially the highlight of his acting career, and once that series ended, he was never seen on TV ever again (which didn't help stop rumors that people still believe today about him being Marilyn Manson).
Why You Should Follow Him: First, we should clarify: he is not Marilyn Manson. After The Wonder Years ended, he went on to Yale, then went on to law school, and now he is a corporate attorney in New York City. Ultimately, that is one of those child actor success stories, and with him being a corporate attorney, I highly doubt that we'll see him even want to return to acting anytime soon. Nonetheless, he doesn't necessarily want to leave those days behind him, and still loves talking about his days playing Kevin Arnold's geeky friend on the classic series. He even interacts with a lot of his former "friends" on that show on Twitter. We like seeing success stories about former child stars, and this is one of those.
Pick of the Tweets: "How about Paul is the lawyer who watches everything collapse when Kevin insists on a pre-nup?" (March 20, 2013), in response to a fan suggesting a reunion of The Wonder Years in which Kevin and Winnie get married.

TNT will not be making many changes to its schedule this fall. Their newest acquisition Hawaii Five-0 is airing weekly on Thursday nights. The drama will be expanded in 2014 for more plays, but for now you can watch it Thursdays at at 9pm and 10pm. The series actually quietly joined the line-up last Thursday (Aug. 8) with the very first episode. TNT Fall 2013 in September and October will start off with Smallville at 6am into two-hours of Charmed at 7am & 8am, as this remains unchanged. Supernatural will get three airings from 9am-12pm, into four airings of Bones from 12-4pm. TNT's biggest hit is Castle in reruns and the series is expanded to five days a week and will air 4-9pm (it's actually thru 10pm Mon-Tues and thru 11pm on Wednesdays...but only thru 8pm on Fridays because of movies). Original series Rizzoli & Isles airs Mondays at 10 and Cold Justice on Tuesdays at 10. After primetime, CSI: NY airs at 11pm on Mondays and Thursdays, while the struggling The Mentalist gets Tuesdays and Wednesdays. At midnight, CSI: NY airs on Mondays and Thursdays again, while The Mentalist gets Wednesdays (original series encore of Tuesday). In late night, we have a mix of Law & Order, Cold Case, The Mentalist, The Closer, NUMB3RS and original encores varying each day from 1am-5am. Smallville closes the night out at 5am, as Angel is leaving the schedule after Sept. 26. Law & Order is is played heavily on weekends, airing Saturdays from 5am-12pm and Sundays from 3am-2pm. And finally, movies fill out the rest of the weekend. Stay with us for continued updates on TNT, as it looks like Angel's contract might be over?

Viewers in the San Francisco Bay Area will now be able to enjoy classic television programs and movies on Antenna TV, the Bay Area's newest entertainment channel, available on KRON-MyNetwork TV. KRON, which is owned by Young Broadcasting, LLC, will debut Antenna TV on digital subchannel 4.3 on August 19, and also on Comcast beginning this fall. Antenna TV, Tribune Broadcasting's multicast entertainment network, launched nationally in January of 2011. With addition of KRON, the 77th Antenna TV affiliate, the network now reaches 66% of TV households.

As for programming news, Labor Day means Jerry Lewis and Antenna TV salutes his slapstick with a full day of Jerry Lewis' classic comedies on Monday, September 2 beginning at 5am ET. Four classic films will air multiple times on this day: Three on a Couch (1966), The Big Mouth (1967), Don’t Raise the Bridge, Lower the River (1968) and Hook, Line and Sinker (1969). This fall, Antenna TV will add I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched to the lineup which includes classic favorites such as: Dennis the Menace, Father Knows Best, Bachelor Father, McHale's Navy, Hazel, The Partridge Family, Sanford and Son, Maude, The Nanny, Diff'rent Strokes, WKRP in Cincinnati, All in the Family, Barney Miller, The Three Stooges, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show, The Jack Benny Program, The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin, Gidget, The Flying Nun, It Takes a Thief and Antenna TV Theater, a movie block featuring Sony movies.

TV Land has announced its September 2013 schedule. We're not calling it their fall schedule yet since they haven't released plans for October and beyond yet (besides the premiere of new original sitcom Kirstie beginning Dec. 4). There are minor changes but a few notable notes. It seems Three's Company's contract is not going to be renewed, but we're not 100% sure yet. We do know that it is not on the schedule after Aug. 31, which is when the contract expires. The hit John Ritter comedy will have its last airings on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 5am-12pm, which is a bit longer than its usual Saturday airing. To sort of take its place will be the return of The Nanny. The sitcom actually quietly returns Aug. 22, airing late nights on Wednesdays, but it will get more airplay in September by airing Saturday mornings as well. Beginning Monday, Sept. 9, TV Land will bring back Boston Legal to its schedule -- but not in the mornings or overnight, but in early evening and primetime. The William Shatner/James Spader series will air on TV Land weekdays at 7pm and 8pm. TV Land has removed the late night airings of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which was getting overnight airings on Sunday nights. We were surprised to see that scheduled there, too...

Elsewhere, Friends will be airing Wednesdays from 11pm-12am now, while sitcoms overnight marathons will air every weeknight from 2-6am. On Mondays it is The Cosby Show, Tuesdays it is The Golden Girls, on Wednesday it's The Nanny, Thursdays has Roseanne and on Fridays it is Everybody Loves Raymond. Sometimes at 5:30am there are That '70s Show airings instead, but that comedy will be showcased on weekends starting at 2am. Everything else is pretty much the same, including mornings where the classic sitcoms are still not back, as Gunsmoke has completely taken over mornings. Yes, that means no I Love Lucy, Dick Van Dyke or Andy Griffith. We do get an Andy Griffith Show sighting on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 2) from 8am-6pm.

Original series wise, Hot in Cleveland will have a two-episode season finale on Wednesday, Sept. 4 from 10-11pm. In the first airing, it's a Mary Tyler Moore Show reunion (as we hinted before), as Elka (Betty White) & Mamie (Georgia Engel) reunite their bowling team: Diane (special guest star Mary Tyler Moore), Peg (special guest star Cloris Leachman), & Angie (special guest star Valerie Harper), while Joy, Victoria & Melanie date a professor (George Hamilton), director & surgeon. On the season finale at 10:30pm, it's the big day of Victoria's wedding to incarcerated movie star Emmet Lawson (guest star Alan Dale), while Elka (Betty White) helps Joy reunite with her baby daddy (special guest star Craig Ferguson), who she hasn't seen in thirty-two years. TV Land's other two sitcoms, The Exes and The Soul Man will wrap up a week earlier on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Hot in Cleveland will return later this year for its fifth season, while The Exes will return for its second half of season three. TV Land has not ordered more episodes of The Soul Man yet.

Bounce TV has started production in Los Angeles on the network's first original scripted sitcom, My Crazy Roommate, as we first announced the series back in May. The series is created and produced by Bentley Kyle Evans (Martin, The Jamie Foxx Show) of Bent Outta Shape Productions. My Crazy Roommate will world premiere on Bounce TV, Tuesday, October 15 at 10:00 pm ET. My Crazy Roommate is a comedy series about two young women, Brooke (Laila Odom) and Chole (Brittany Richards), from vastly different backgrounds who are forced to live together while on a crusade to find fame and fortune in Hollywood. The reluctant roommates find themselves in a series of dilemmas causing them to temporarily put their differences aside to resolve the many obstacles they face throughout their journey.

Today we will take a look at Chiller's Fall 2013 schedule. The NBCUniversal owned network will bring back the Jennifer Love Hewitt series Ghost Whisperer to the line-up and will be airing it weekdays at 8am and 5am and also in primetime on Monday nights from 8pm-1am starting with the very first episode on Monday, Sept. 2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which was airing at 8am & 5am, will be relegated to Sunday nights from 3-6am (but remember it is coming back to FX this September as well). Elsewhere on the Chiller schedule, Outer Limits will air weekdays at 6am & 7am leading into Ghost Whisperer. From 9am-5pm, there will be different marathon stacks every weekday of series like Buffy, Dark Shadows, The Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Ripley's Believe It Or Not and more. From 5pm-5am, we have many movies, some Fear Factor here and there and on Mondays its Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction from 5-8pm into the aforementioned Ghost Whisperer from 8pm-1am. On weekends we have a lot of movies and stunts. The River continues to air Sunday nights at 8pm. A marathon of The River will air on Sunday, September 29 from 5pm-1am, featuring all eight episodes of the short-lived series. There will also be a creature/monster stunt week called Monster Mash, and will air from Sept. 10-13 from 5pm-5am. That's about it for Chiller in September 2013, as the biggest news was the return of Ghost Whisperer. Stay with us for continued updates and if anything changes.

Comedy Central has officially announced the Community stunts that we talked about during our look at the Comedy Central Fall 2013 schedule. Comedy Central is enrolling in Greendale Community College this semester! The cable television premiere of Community kicks off with a special 10-episode block of fan-favorite episodes on September 15 from noon - 5:00 p.m. on Comedy Central, as we previously announced. Starting September 20, well-studied fans and clueless freshmen can start Community cramming when the series settles into the schedule with a four-episode block airing weekly every Friday from 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm, beginning with season one. During the Friday premieres, super fans can use the hashtag #Community for a chance to see their tweets on-air. Yes, we have announced all this. But to help prepare for the beginning of the term, Comedy Central will schedule programming blocks of content that have featured the stars of Community, along with college-themed movies and scholastic-themed episodes of its own original series, every Friday from 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm from August 9 through September 13.

The critically-acclaimed Community is a half-hour comedy series about a tight-knit study group at Greendale Community College. At the center of the group is Jeff Winger (Joel McHale, The Soup), a fast-talking lawyer whose degree has been revoked. With some help from his fellow classmates, Winger forms a study group who eventually learn more about themselves than their course work. Among the series stars who comprise the group are Chevy Chase, Gillian Jacobs, Yvette Nicole Brown, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Donald Glover, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash. Community will return on NBC with its fifth season in midseason.

Today we have part one of the TBS Fall 2013 schedule. We are calling it part one because this is their September schedule and there will likely be more schedule updates to come in October that we cannot reveal just yet, so stay tuned for that. For now, we will cover the September changes, including the premiere of reruns of The Cleveland Show! The animated comedy will begin Monday, Sept. 16 on TBS and will air weekdays at 1:30pm leading into an hour of American Dad! from 2-3PM. The Family Guy spin-off will also air at 7:30pm on Tuesday and Friday evenings, spelling Family Guy on those nights. Family Guy will be taking over that 7:30pm half-hour the other three weeknights as Seinfeld will now be from 6pm-7:30pm. Other key changes include Rules of Engagement just once a day now and moving 6am, while My Name is Earl is also cut to just once a day and now at 6:30am. Married...with Children moves up to 7am-8:30am, leading into Fresh Prince at 8:30am. After the Tyler Perry hour, more Fresh Prince is going to air from 10am-12pm. That's a whole lot of Fresh Prince, but will all these slots last in October? Stay tuned. The series will be moving to BET exclusively beginning in Fall 2014, as we mentioned before. According to Jim remains at noon, while Wipeout moves to 12:30pm instead of 2pm. Everybody Loves Raymond will be off of the weekday schedule, but it will now air in a evening block on Saturday nights from 6-8pm.

Back to weekdays, Cleveland Show is at 1:30pm as mentioned into American Dad's new timeslots of 2-3pm. Friends will now be 3-5pm, instead of 3:30-5:30, as Cougar Town weekdays repeats will be leaving. King of Queens is now in the 5pm hour, leading into three episodes of Seinfeld from 6-7:30pm and as mentioned Family Guy and Cleveland Show will share the 7:30pm half-hour, with the former Mon, Wed, Thurs and the latter on Tues and Fri. Primetime will remain the same with a mix of Family Guy and The Big Bang Theory on Mon-Thurs from 8-11pm. Movies will air on Fridays. Conan remains in late night at 11, into a repeat of The Office at midnight. An encore of Conan airs at 12:30am into another episode of The Office at 1:30am. After a late movie, Married...with Children closes the night out on most days from 4-6am. On Saturdays, sitcoms will air from 6-11am with an hour each of Married...with Children and Fresh Prince from 6-8am. The Tyler Perry hour of House of Payne and Meet the Browns airs from 8-9am. The 9am hour has Are We There Yet? and According to Jim into an hour of Rules of Engagement at 10. Movies will air from 11am-3pm, then Friends is back from 3-5pm into King of Queens from 5-6pm, similar to weekdays. Everybody Loves Raymond moves into early evening on Saturdays from 6-8pm leading into The Big Bang Theory primetime block from 8-11pm. More movies follow and the late night schedule has more Married...with Children. The Sunday line-up remains intact with Married...with Children and Friends from 6-9am then movies the rest of the day.

ABC has set an airdate for Disney·Pixar's first special for television, Toy Story OF TERROR!, a spooky new tale featuring all of your favorite characters from the "Toy Story" films, airing Wednesday, October 16 from 8:00-8:30pm ET on the ABC Comedy Wednesday block for one night. ABC first announced plans for the special at the annual Upfront presentation in May, but now we have an actual airdate! What starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this Toy Story OF TERROR!. The cast of Toy Story OF TERROR! includes Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Carl Weathers as Combat Carl/Combat Carl Jr., Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, Wallace Shawn as Rex and Kristen Schaal as Trixie.

• The Simpsons (Fox) 2 airings - A summer repeat at 8pm did 2.69 million and a 1.28 18-49 rating, down a tenth in 18-49 with previous week. A 7:30pm repeat leading in did 1.9 million and a 0.88 18-49 rating, about on par in 18-49 with previous week.

• Bob's Burgers (Fox) - An encore airing at 8:30pm did 2.44 million and a 1.20 18-49 rating, down a tenth in 18-49 from previous week.
• Family Guy (Fox) 2 airings - A repeat at 9pm posted 3.09 million and a 1.55 18-49 rating, about on par in 18-49 with previous week. A 9:30pm repeat followed with 3.29 million and a 1.69 18-49 rating, up slightly in 18-49 from previous week.

Welcome to Digital Digest! This week, we've got two reviews, with both Once Upon a Time - The Complete Second Season (Blu-ray) and Perry Mason - Season 9, Volume 2. Let's get going!

DIGITAL NEWS

The big news this week comes from CBS, as they've announced three major complete series sets of classic series on DVD. On November 5, the studio will release the complete series of three series that they've already released individual seasons of (but these new releases will come in new streamlined packaging, and in some cases, include new special features). For fans of sitcoms, there is Family Ties - The Complete Series. Fans of high school drama will be glad to see Beverly Hills, 90210 - The Complete Series. Finally, the classic series Hawaii Five-O comes to DVD with Hawaii Five-O - The Complete Series. We have to be a bit careful for that last one, though... it isn't really the complete series, because it is still missing the second season episode "Bored, She Hung Herself" (which has not been seen in the United States since it originally aired). As usual, these will all include special features that were not included on the original releases, so there are sure to be some complaints! Nonetheless, it is great to see complete series sets.

Meanwhile, Warner Archive has another release coming on Tuesday that is sure to be good news for fans of a classic family comedy-drama series, as they release Eight is Enough - The Complete Fourth Season. As usual, the set will be released as two volumes in one, and it doesn't appear that there will be an option to buy just one of the volumes (but it probably isn't necessary anyway).

Tuesday (August 13) is a busier than usual day for releases. For sitcoms, Universal has The Mindy Project - Season One and CBS has Family Ties - The Seventh and Final Season. We'll have a review of the latter by the end of the weekend. Also, ABC has Once Upon a Time - The Complete Second Season (DVD/Blu-ray), and CBS wraps up Perry Mason with Perry Mason - Season 9, Volume 2. This review will cover the Blu-ray disc version.

Once Upon a Time stars stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O'Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Meghan Ory as Red Riding Hood/Ruby and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold. Recurring stars are Michael Raymond-James as Baelfire/Neal Cassidy, Barbara Hershey as Cora/Queen of Hearts, David Anders as Dr. Whale, Raphael Sbarge as Jiminy Cricket/Archie Hopper, Jamie Chung as Mulan, Sarah Bolger as Princess Aurora, Ethan Embry as Owen Flynn/Greg Mendell, Eion Bailey as Pinocchio/August Wayne Booth, Beverly Mitchell as Granny, Tony Amendola as Geppetto/Marco, Lee Arenberg as Grumpy/Leroy, Sonequa Martin-Green as Tamara, Alan Dale as King George and Sebastian Stan as The Mad Hatter/Jefferson.

We think the second season is superb and action-packed. The series continues to be a Sunday staple at 8pm on ABC. The writers of Lost has brought this series to us and this is the only show that has even come close to that show since that series ended. Jennifer Morrison is great and beautiful while Ginnifer Goodwin and Lana Parrilla are superb and have great chemistry. The addition of Emilie de Ravin is excellent as well as Colin O'Donoghue. We wish the Emmy's would have recognized this show, especially Robert Carlyle. Every episode has to be seen in order, but I will try to pick the most memorable episodes. WARNING: Don't read the descriptions if you have yet to start the second season! In the season premiere, "Broken," the people of Storybrooke realize who they really are... and set out to confront Regina, who they believe is responsible, while in the fairytale world, Prince Phillip and Mulan rescue Aurora from her sleeping curse, but a mysterious wraith stalks Phillip and he may be forced to make the ultimate sacrifice. In "The Crocodile," in the real world, Belle decides to leave Gold when she realizes that he isn't being honest with her, however someone else from her past threatens her future, while in the fairytale world, Rumplestiltskin discovers that his wife Milah isn't dead as he believed and goes to confront the pirate captain that took her. In "Tallahassee," Mary Margaret and Hook scale the beanstalk to recover the compass from the Giant, but as she climbs, Emma remembers the one time that she fell in love and was abandoned... unaware of the whole story of what happened.

In "Queen of the Hearts," while David lies in a coma, Gold and Regina plan to make sure that no one comes to Storybrooke through the portal, while Emma and Mary Margaret race Cora and Hook to the portal, and in the land that was, Regina makes a startling revelation to her mother. In "The Cricket Game," Regina tries to show the people of Storybrooke that she has changed, but things go awry when she's accused of murder and in the fairytale world, Snow and James must decide what to do with the Evil Queen. In "Tiny," Hook takes David and Mary Margaret to his ship and reveals Cora's secret weapon: Anton the Giant and when they free him, he mistakes David for James, the man who betrayed him in the Enchanted Forest, and goes on a rampage, while Emma takes Henry and Gold out of Storybrooke, and in the fairy tale world, Anton has his first encounter with humans... including one named Jack. In the next episode "Manhattan," in New York, Emma confronts Gold's son Bae, only to discover that he is her ex-lover, Neal, while in Storybrooke, Hook helps Cora and Regina locate Rumplestiltskin's dagger and in the fairytale world, Rumplestiltskin goes off to war and receives a cryptic warning from a blind seer. In "Welcome to Storybrooke," Gold is forced to intervene when Regina comes up with a way to get revenge on Mary Margaret and bring Henry back into her life, meanwhile 28 years ago, Regina wakes up in Storybrooke, the town created by her curse, but soon discovers two outsiders that could pose a threat to her plans. In "The Evil Queen," Regina comes up with a plan to use a failsafe built into her curse to destroy Storybrooke and its residents while she and Henry escape to the Enchanted Forest, when Henry rejects her, Regina turns to Hook... who has allies of his own, meanwhile in the fairytale world, Regina has Rumpelstiltskin disguise her as a peasant so that she can find the renegade Snow and kill her. On the thrilling season finale, "And Straight On 'Til Morning," while Regina tries to delay the end of Storybrooke after Greg and Tamara set off the failsafe, David and Hook race to get the magic beans and create a portal so the townspeople can evacuate, while decades ago in Neverland, Hook takes Bae under his wing and must decide whether to give him up to the Lost Ones or not.

Let's now move on to the packaging for this Blu-ray set! We have a thin outer box holding the Blu-ray case. The cover art for both has the Once Upon a Time logo in the middle with head shots of Hook, Evil Queen, Rumpelstiltskin, Emma, Snow White and Prince Charming on top, while below the logo we have a shot of Emma from her backside looking on to the dark sky that is coming to Storybrooke. There is a mention of The Complete Second Season right above the series logo. The cover of the outer box is actually a hologram, so if you move it a little, the Emma looking on shot turns into Hook's ship. Very cool. The back of both the outer box and case has three episodic photos and a nice gallery photo of Red Riding Hood, Belle and Henry. We also have info on the series and set as well, with a bonus features box. The color scheme is purple. Inside the Blu-ray case we go, there is no insert booklet this time on the left showcasing other ABC TV DVDs. Oh well, not a big deal. As far as the discs itself go, disc one is on a little plastic holder that you can flip like a page in a book. Disc two is on the back of that little plastic holder. Discs three and four are the same way in a second little plastic holder, while disc five is on the right panel itself. All similar to the previous set. All five discs are in a dark blue color with the series logo and showscases our beloved characters. Disc one has episodes 1-5 and we have artwork of Henry & Emma. Disc two has 6-10 and we see artwork of The Evil Queen. Disc three has episodes 11-14 and we have artwork of Snow White and Prince Charming. Disc four has episodes 15-18 and we have artwork of Rumpelstiltskin. And disc five has episodes 19-22 and we artwork of Hook. As for the panels, we have nice cast photo that extends onto both panels itself. There is also a disc-by-disc breakdown below the cast photo on the panels listing episode titles per disc.

The menu screen is very cool and great like season one's menu. Blu-ray menus are so much different I think, and they are better than regular DVDs. Background music from the show is playing in the background, as we have artwork of the woods in dark blue (similar to the title card on the series). Each disc has a different item in the woods (Hook's ship, a beanstalk, a dog, a jeep and the clock tower). We have options for Episodes, Bonus Features, Set Up, Season Play and Sneak Peeks. When we select Episodes, on Blu-ray there are no sub-menus, so a pop-up box pops up and you choose the episode with the titles listed. Bonus Features options pops-up all the extras on that disc, including the deleted scenes. The Set Up pop-up has the option for Languages and Subtitles, with audio in English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio or English 2.0 Dolby Digital and subtitles in English, Thai, Chinese, Espanol, Portuguese, and French. Season Play is very cool, it is a feature exclusive to the Blu-ray Disc releases. This feature allows you to never have a problem keeping track of where you are (which episode, disc, time stamp) on the season of the show. This feature prevents you from getting lost as to which episode you were on when trying to come back and continue watching an entire season of a show. VERY cool! Sneak Peaks is just on disc five for The Lone Ranger, Peter Pan, Mulan andMarvel's Avengers Initiative . Disc one has auto trailers for Revenge Season 2 DVD, Castle Season 5 DVD, ABC TV on DVD and The Little Mermaid Blu-ray.

The video is great, as it should be in full HD (1080p widescreen)! This is the Blu-ray version so it is flawless. Everyone should own a Blu-ray player as the video quality is just superb and you feel like you are right inside the show. I have watched all 22 episodes on ABC in HD and it looks even better in Blu-ray! The audio is very good in 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. That is the best you can get so you know it will be clear and crisp. Each episode has 8 chapter stops. We also hear the closing theme, as on ABC there are next week's promos playing over the credits. There is not much else to say, and that's a good thing!

As for special features, we have a WHOLE lot here. Each disc has special features once again. We have audio commentary on each disc. There is a warning that lets us know these should be viewed after you watch each episode, because the commentaries contain spoilers. On disc one, we have audio commentary for the season premiere "Broken" from series stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas. They even have great chemistry while doing an audio commentary. They are such a perfect couple. On disc two, we have audio commentary for the episode "Queen of Hearts" co-creators/executive producers Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz and star Lana Parrilla! On disc three we have audio commentary for the episode "Manhattan" from Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz and star Robert Carlyle! Even being under the weather, Robert is a class act. On disc four, we have audio commentary for the episode "The Miller's Daughter," from writer Jane Espenson. But wait, there's more! We have another episode with audio commentary on disc four, "Welcome to Storybrooke" from writers Ian Goldberg and Andrew Chambliss. And the final audio commentary is on disc five for the season finale "And Straight On 'Til Morning" from co-executive producer David H. Goodman and star Colin O'Donoghue! So we have six episodes with audio commentary (up from the five we had on season one) and these six are really great classic episodes!

The rest of the bonus features are on disc five. The first one is exclusive to Blu-ray, titled "A Fractured Family Tree" (7:08) narrated by ABC's Modern Family star Sarah Hyland (Hayley!). We explore the tangled magical genealogy behind the series' fairytale family and interviewed are Josh Dallas, Jared Gilmore, Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, Michael Raymond-James, Lana Parrilla, and Robert Carlyle. This was REALLY well done Sarah is really fun to listen to. It's only for Blu-ray! Next up we have "Good Morning Storybrooke" (12:08) this is a Good Morning America style series but in Storybrooke. GMA? No it's GMS! You'll see your favorite Once characters even appear like Belle, Red Riding Hood and Dr. Whale! Then next we have "Sincerely, Hook" (5:22) where we set sail with Colin O'Donoghue (Killian Jones/Captain Hook) and learn more about the man behind the hook! Then next up we have "Girl Power" (13:04) where we enjoy a high impact look at Storybrooke's fearless females as they fight for love and justice between the realms of magic and reality. Interviewed are Ginnifer Goodwin, Lana Parrilla, Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz (co-creators), Andrew Chambliss (producer), Jane Espenson (consulting producer), Josh Dallas, Christine Boylan (producer), Jennifer Morrison, Jared Gilmore, Dave Hospes (stunt coordinator), Michael Raymond-James, Emilie de Ravin, Robert Carlyle, Jamie Chung, and Keegan Connor Tracy.

We aren't done yet! We have "Fairest Bloopers Of Them All" (3:12), which are of course often hilarious outtakes fans won't want to miss. We get a minute more worth of bloopers this season, too! And finally we have deleted scenes. It isn't many as say Revenge has, but still good stuff! The deleted scenes are around 10 1/2 minutes or so. We have eight deleted scenes, which is just off of the nine we got from the first season's set. Great to see stuff that didn't make the show!

I highly do recommend this Blu-ray set for any Once fan or even any fair tale fan. It is such an interesting take on those classic fairy tale characters we all know and love. The show makes you think, and I love that. This is really a great show and I hope you all buy this Blu-ray disc (or even the DVD). There are many special features that will keep you glued for many more hours than just the 22 episodes. The quality of Blu-ray sets is just superb and this one is among the best of this year again. We don't have as many special features as the first season set, but it is still jam-packed with many extras. If you haven't started this season or need to catch-up, this is the perfect time to do so before the new season premieres Sunday, Sept. 29 at 8/7c on ABC. Catch up now! If you're still on the fence then you are crazy. You'll be hooked (no pun intended) I'm sure. Be prepared to be spellbound because magic is coming to Storybrooke in season two but there is no magic needed to order this set by clicking on the links below!

Blog DVD Review: Perry Mason - Season 9, Volume 2 (CBS, $45.98)

Perry Mason is about to rest his case once and for all in Perry Mason - Season 9, Volume 2. It has been a long journey of nine seasons (and eighteen DVD releases!) since the first volume of the first season was released in July 2006, but CBS made it their priority to get all 271 episodes of the classic series on DVD, and now we have them all! For those unfamiliar with the series, it follows defense attorney Perry Mason (Raymond Burr) as he takes on some of the biggest cases out there, where somebody has been murdered and it seems to be a foregone conclusion that the wrongly accused defendant will be convicted... but that won't happen with Mason by their side!

The second half of the season begins with "The Case of the Midnight Howler," where Perry becomes a witness in a murder case where he believes the accused is innocent. Perry must decide if a woman is a grieving widow or a wronged wife capable of murder in "The Case of the Vanishing Victim." A pro golfer is found dead in "The Case of the Golfer's Gambit." In "The Case of the Sausalito Sunrise." the police zero in on one of Perry's clients in their effort to find a cop killer. A fishing trip is interrupted when the wife of Perry's client is found dead in "The Case of the Scarlet Scandal." The series goes to color (for one episode, at least) in "The Case of the Twice Told Twist." In "The Case of the Avenging Angel," an aspiring British pop star is accused of killing his promoter. A jeweler is caught with the body of a jewel thief in his trunk in "The Case of Tasrina's Tiara."

Two women switch identities (and die) in "The Case of the Fanciful Frail." In "The Case of the Unwelcome Well," a foreman is the prime suspect when a greedy oil man is killed. Perry is on the hunt for a killer who looks exactly like him after losing a case in "The Case of the Dead Ringer." In "The Case of the Misguided Model," a model (Mary Ann Mobley) is at the center of a murder case. Perry has to determine if a new head of a crime commission has gone above the law in "The Case of the Positive Negative." In "The Case of the Crafty Kidnapper," a gossip columnist turns up dead, and his assistant is accused. The volume (as well as season AND series) ends with "The Case of the Final Fade-Out," where an egotistical TV star has a fatal final act. Dick Clark guest stars.

As usual, it seems that the episodes are unedited, with runtimes as follows:

The set comes in a standard Viva case, as most of the releases of this series have. The cover has (what else?) a large photo of Perry, and on the back, there are some episode snapshots and a brief description of the season. Inside, you'll find the four discs, and a listing of episodes, along with descriptions and airdates.

The menus on the set are nothing too fancy, and are just like previous sets. There is a large photo of Perry, along with a list of episodes, a Play All option, and a Subtitles option. There are no special effects or anything on the menus. Once you select an episode, it plays right away, with chapters placed all throughout each episode.

As was the case with the previous 17 volumes, the video and audio quality is nothing short of spectacular. Everything looks great in the glorious black and white (except for the color episode, of course, which looks great in color), and the audio is perfectly loud and clear. Each episode has English subtitles.

The special features have been the biggest letdown on these volumes of this series. There is one small one on this set, but it was a carryover from the 50th anniversary release. Basically, it is just an introduction to the episode "The Case of the Twice-Told Twist" (0:35), where Barbara Hale explains why the episode is in color. It isn't anything major.

I never would have imagined that this series would make it onto DVD from beginning to end given how many episodes there were, but it did happen after all. It is very rare to see that level of commitment for any series on DVD. The best part is that a lot of care and effort was put into bringing fans the best quality episodes possible. I don't recall ever seeing any problems with any of these DVDs (aside from the fact that special features were pretty much nonexistent). Now that we've finished the regular series, perhaps CBS can move forward releasing the 30 made-for-TV movies that aired between 1985 and 1995. Granted, they weren't as good as the original series, but I'd like to see the "complete" Perry Mason nonetheless. Fans of the series are going to want to pick this up, and if you've never seen the series, you can catch some (not all) of the episodes in syndication and perhaps you too will want to own this set.

Claim to Fame: Barbeau had one of the most interest starts in her road to fame, as a go-go dancer who worked for the mob in New York City (seriously), but it wasn't long before she began to get roles on Broadway, and for TV fans, was cast as Maude's daughter Carol in the series Maude. Why You Should Follow Her: Barbeau is sort of like one of those unsung actresses out there. We all recognize her, but (unless you're a fan of Maude), you don't stop to think too much about her. But the reality is that she is still actively working (in some of TV's biggest hits), and she even has two sixteen year old twins sons (she jokes that she was the only one in the maternity ward who also had an AARP membership when she gave birth to them at age 51). She seems to be really in touch with her fans, and who knows? Maybe the "biggest thing" in her career has yet to happen.

The MeTV Network has announced its "Fall for Me" fall 2013 schedule which will make its debut Monday, September 2, 2013. Joining the MeTV schedule for their maiden voyage on the network are two seaworthy series: Gilligan's Island and The Love Boat.
