Antenna TV will make some minor schedule changes for second quarter, beginning Sunday, April 1, 2018 (no, we're not foolin'). New addition Alice is doing red hot and will get three airings per weekday now. Alice will remain airing weekdays at 1pm and 1am, but now it will also air weeknights at 7:30pm! Wow, there's a new girl in town and she's looking good, indeed! It's part of minor weekday early evening changes, with now Growing Pains, Family Ties and Alice airing from 6:30pm-8pm. Other notable changes include Mr. Belvedere and Evening Shade being removed from the line-up, while Dear John returns to the schedule, airing weekends at 4pm. Head of the Class gains airings as well, getting weekends at 2pm while still airing weekdays at 2:30pm, as does Small Wonder now airing weekdays at 5am and remains at 12:30pm. We suggest you look at the April 2018 schedule to see what else has changed, but it's just minor.

The hit series Andi Mack has been renewed for a third season. The cast - Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Lilan Bowden, Joshua Rush, Sofia Wylie and Asher Angel - got the news while on ABC's Good Morning America yesterday. The series is lauded as a heartwarming, diverse coming-of-age story about the most important things in any young person's life - family and friends, and the journey of self-discovery. It will resume filming soon in Salt Lake City, Utah. On Good Morning America, the Andi Mack cast participated in a book donation to kids in underserved communities through First Book, Disney|ABC Television and Disney Publishing's "Magic of Storytelling" initiative. In March, they will also be featured in a Disney Channel "Magic of Storytelling" interstitial encouraging young viewers to read.

Andi Mack premiered on Disney Channel in April 2017 and ranks among TV's Top 10 series for Kids and Girls 6-11. It reached more than 40 million total viewers and nearly 17 million kids worldwide in the most recent quarter (3Q17) and is the #1 series on Disney Channel VOD and in the DisneyNOW app. A one-hour episode, "Cyrus' Bash-Mitzvah!," premieres Friday, Feb. 23 at 8:00pm EST/PST, and introduces turning points for several characters. Twelve new episodes from season two will debut beginning in June 2018, with episodes from the third season scheduled to debut later in 2018. She's captivated audiences as a Bond girl, a Medicine Woman and an Emmy(R) and two-time Golden Globe(R) winning actress - and now Jane Seymour (Wedding Crashers, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) returns to television in Pop's newest scripted comedy, Let's Get Physical, which begins production in Halifax, Nova Scotia today. The eight-episode original series is set to premiere on Pop TV next year. Created by Ben Newmark, Dan Newmark and Connor Pritchard, Let's Get Physical centers on slacker Joe Force who makes a reluctant comeback in the fitness industry after his dad, Colonel Tom Force, a.k.a. "The Godfather of Aerobics," unexpectedly passes away and wills his son the broken-down family gym. The modern-day comedy, which captures the zeitgeist of '80s competitive aerobics, also stars Matt Jones (Breaking Bad, Mom), Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley, Episodes) and AnnaLynne McCord (90210, Nip/Tuck). Seymour stars as Janet Force, the mother of the series protagonist, Joe (played by Jones). Janet is a former Miss Texas Beauty Pageant winner who is obsessed with maintaining the family fitness legacy and anti-aging remedies.

Andi Mack, the series that has captivated kids and families, makes its season premiere with a one-hour episode Friday, October 27 from 8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT, on Disney Channel and the Disney Channel app (9:00 p.m. EDT). Created and executive produced by writer Terri Minsky (Lizzie McGuire) and filmed in Salt Lake City, Utah, the series has been noted for its deft handling of realistic and optimistic stories about a girl, her friends and family. Andi Mack stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Lilan Bowden, Lauren Tom, Joshua Rush, Sofia Wylie and Asher Angel. Recurring stars include Stoney Westmoreland, Emily Skinner and Trent Garrett. The cast is featured in the music video for the popular Andi Mack theme song "Tomorrow Starts Today," premiering Friday, OCtober 20, on Disney Channel and DisneyMusicVEVO. The song is performed by Hollywood Records artist Sabrina Carpenter and will also be released as a single on October 20.

The first season introduced Andi on the eve of her 13th birthday just as she learns that her older sister Bex is actually her mother. This revelation puts Andi on an unfamiliar path of self-discovery which she navigates with the help of her two best friends, Cyrus and Buffy, and her loving family. Season one culminated with Andi convinced that her parents Bex and Bowie are destined to be together. Meanwhile, Andi's middle school crush, Jonah Beck, has just broken up with his girlfriend, Amber. In the season two premiere, Andi encourages Bowie to plan a future with Bex, Cyrus introduces his girlfriend, Iris, to Andi and Buffy; and Jonah invites Andi to the Space Otters' party.

It's another case of Viacom sharing and they love to share shows with its siblings. The latest show is How I Met Your Mother, which has been airing on sister networks TV Land and (previously) Nick at Nite, but will now appear on Comedy Central come this September. The "legendary" sitcom will join the schedule on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 and will air weekday mornings at 10:30am and 11am, following reruns of Saturday Night Live at 9:30am. How I Met Your Mother currently airs on many networks, with TV Land airing the sitcom in the overnight, WGN America in late fringe, Lifetime in mid-morning and FX in afternoons. Not to mention local broadcast syndication! Will one of these cable networks be losing the series come this fall? Stay tuned, but it looks like the Viacom networks (TV Land and Comedy Central), will still be airing the sitcom.

Disney Channel has ordered Andi Mack, a new series for kids and families created and executive produced by Terri Minsky who also created one of Disney Channel's defining hit series, Lizzie McGuire. The series begins production this fall in Salt Lake City, Utah, with 12-year-old newcomer Peyton Elizabeth Lee starring in the title role. It is scheduled for a 2017 premiere on Disney Channel. Andi Mack, a single-camera family series, centers around Andi as she's about to celebrate her 13th birthday. However, when her capricious older sister Bex returns home with the hope of getting her life together, Andi's life is turned upside down and she is left questioning everything she's ever known. Also starring are Lilan Bowden (Zombie Apocalypse) as Andi's sister Bex, Lauren Tom (The Joy Luck Club, Friends) as Andi's mother Celia, Joshua Rush (Disney's The Lion Guard) as Cyrus and Asher Angel (Jolene) as Jonah Beck. In addition to Lizzie McGuire, for which she was a WGA Award nominee, Minsky created the television sitcoms Less Than Perfect and The Geena Davis Show, both for ABC and most recently developed Finding Carter for MTV.
