2023 Christmas Con NJ Recap; Ray Romano Gets Netflix Comedy

That's 4 Entertainment had its 4th Annual Christmas Con this weekend (December 8-10) at the Expo Convention Center in Edison, NJ. We had a reporter down there to let us know what happened! It was similar to the past three Christmas Cons. Some of the things this year included a tree lighting, an ugly sweater contest, karaoke, and a panel with the stars of the film National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Fans got a jump on their holiday shopping with a stroll through the holiday market vendors, featuring artists, authors, and vendors of all kinds. Fans got to take a photo with Santa, the mascot GB, and many other enchanting photo opportunity displays! There were a lot of behind the scenes stories at the celebrity panels. And most of all, fants got to enjoy their moment to get an autograph and photo with their favorite Christmas stars!
The stars that were on hand were Chevy Chase, Randy Quaid, Beverly D'Angelo, Miriam Flynn, Lacey Chabert, Victor Webster, Paul Campbell, Jesse Metcalfe, Taylor Cole, Jesse Hutch, Catherine Bell, Alicia Witt, Danica McKellar, Jessica Lowndes, Jonathan Bennett, Tyler Hynes, Kimberley Sustad, Brennan Elliott, Benjamin Ayres, Melissa Joan Hart, Cameron Mathison, Will Kemp, Wes Brown, Ashley Williams, Steve Lund, Andrew Walker, Jen Lilley, Cindy Busby, Autumn Reeser, Kristoffer Polaha, Erin Cahill, Nikki DeLoach, John Brotherton and Jenna Leigh Green.
We hope next Christmas Con there is more of a variety of newer never before seen stars at Christmas Con. How about Teri Hatcher? She has been starring in many Christmas movies over the last few years. James Denton would be a good reunion photo with Teri. And many staples of Hallmark/Lifetime Christmas movies that have yet to appear include Christa B. Allen, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Laura Vandervoort and Julio Gonzalo. Hopefully they come next year! Stay tuned as we will be on hand for the 90s Con in Hartford once again this March!
Netflix announced that Emmy Award-winning actor, director and producer Ray Romano will star in No Good Deed, a new dark comedy series from creator and executive producer Liz Feldman (Dead to Me). Ray Romano (Somewhere in Queens, Get Shorty, Made for Love) joins as "Paul Morgan" - Constantly stressed and flat broke, Paul is a contractor desperate to retire, pay off his debts and escape LA. He thinks selling his beautiful Los Feliz home is the solution to all his and his wife Lydia's problems, but his past mistakes will continue to haunt him. No Good Deed is a half hour, dark comedy that follows three very different families vying to buy the very same 1920s Spanish style villa that they think will solve all their problems. But as the sellers have already discovered, sometimes the home of your dreams can be a total nightmare. 8 Episodes have been ordered.
