- Be prepared: we may be on the verge of another strike, this time by writer's assistants, that could slow down or even shutdown production of your favorite TV series. (Variety)
- ESPN will no longer air the Scripps National Spelling Bee after 27 years, as it transitions to ION and Bounce, two networks that are actually owned by Scripps. (Hollywood Reporter)
- The Wendy Williams Show has had difficulty launching the current season due to the health of Williams herself, and now, it seems they'll be starting the new season with a guest host. (Yahoo! News)
- Katey Sagal was hit by a car this week, but don't worry, it seems the injuries aren't too bad and she is already out of the hospital. (People)
