  • NBC cancelled Manifest, but a strong showing in streaming has Netflix interested in reviving it and even NBC reconsidering their own plans. (TVLine)
  • American Housewife has been sold into broadcast syndication for 2022. (Deadline) 
  • Fran Drescher is running for president of SAG-AFTRA, but her co-stars from The Nanny are supporting her opponent. (Deadline) 
  • NewsNation, the network formerly known as WGN America, is expanding their coverage with a morning show and also adding Dan Abrams (who'll continue to work for ABC as well) in the evening. (Variety)
  • Sean Penn is starring in an upcoming Starz series called Gaslit, but he is now on strike until all cast and crew members have been vaccinated against COVID-19. (Deadline)
