SitcomsOnline Digest: At Home Version of America's Funniest Home Videos; Younger Spinoff in the Works

Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! This time of the year, we should be hearing about a busy pilot season and the new fall season and such, but we aren't for now. Still, we have some news for you, including a spinoff of Younger, an at home version of America's Funniest Home Videos, and more. Let's get going!

  • Although there obviously can't be an audience, what show is more appropriate to create an "at home" version than America's Funniest Home Videos? And they'll be doing that soon. (Deadline) 
  • An anthology series from BJ Novak has been picked up by FX. (Variety)
  • A Younger spinoff starring Hilary Duff is in the works. (Hollywood Reporter)
  • Hulu has acquired the rights to Scandal, and will begin streaming it soon. (Deadline)
  • CBS has renewed several series for next season. (SitcomsOnline)

  • Another "at home" episode of Saturday Night Live will be airing tonight, and it will also serve as the season finale.
  • The Decades binge this weekend is Cannon.
  • ABC's Wednesday night comedies will have their season finales on Wednesday night.
