Dave makes a run for city council, working hard to earn Calvin’s support, only to have a controversial photo threaten to derail his entire campaign. Wayne Brady guest stars as longtime incumbent Isaiah Evans.

Darlene and Ben go apartment hunting as they take on the next step in building their life together. When a tornado touches down in Bucksnort, everyone’s concerns about their current situations are heightened. Mike and Beau are still at odds about their egg businesses and who will earn Dolores’ restaurant contract; and a mix-up with pregnancy tests leads Rio, Kay and Jacob’s girlfriend, Janine, to each think they might be pregnant.

Angie attempts to help Poppy through her situation with Douglas, only to be confronted by the fact that she might have feelings for Derek again. After Anna-Kat’s big win with The Wildflower Girls, the Ottos head to California for an all-expenses paid family vacation.
