Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! It's not a very busy news week, but we're hearing about a record breaking renewal for an NBC favorite, some renewals at Fox, and some summer premiere dates. Let's get going!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM SITCOMSONLINE.COM AND AROUND THE WEB

Law & Order: SVU has been renewed for a record breaking 21st season, making it the longest running drama in TV history. (Variety)
Meanwhile, Fox has renewed 9-1-1 and The Resident. (Hollywood Reporter)

HOME MEDIA HIGHLIGHT

Take note, as this may potentially be one of the last times we ever see something like this for an older sitcom that was sort of forgotten after it's original run: Evening Shade - The Complete Collection will be released on April 12.

WEEKLY PLANNER (MARCH 30 - APRIL 6)

The final season of Veep debuts tomorrow night on HBO, but before that, you can catch a marathon of the previous seasons on HBO2 starting today at 5 PM.
The second season of Barry also debuts tomorrow night, and a marathon of that will wrap up just before the Veep marathon starts.
Although it isn't clear why they are doing it two weekends in a row, Decades has a binge of Hunter again this weekend.
Saturday Night Live returns with a new episode tonight, featuring Sandra Oh and Tame Impala.
For those who have been missing Night Court on Laff, it returns Monday morning with two episodes every weekday at 9 AM, although it seems Grounded for Life is now gone.
The second season of The Last OG debuts Tuesday on TBS.

Sam, Jay and the ghosts attempt to extricate Jay from his deal with Elias Woodstone (Matt Walsh), the devil. Also, Isaac helps Patience (Mary Holland) through a crisis of confidence and Pete and Alberta navigate the fallout from their kiss.

Roman Park takes Frank's beloved dog away from him; in an effort to get his dog back, Frank and Shred find themselves on a late-night rescue mission; Patel's house sale spirals.

With the celebration of the U.S.'s 250th birthday coming up, the base's festivities are on the line when their supplies are held up by a petty and vengeful Davidson; Team Shiny must pull off a daring undercover mission.
