2018 4th of July Marathons on TV
Today is the 4th of July so Happy 4th of July to all of you out there! We hope you enjoy the day off on our country's birthday! It's time to relax and watch some TV on this holiday! We are known for letting you know what marathons are airing on TV on holidays and we will do the same for this 4th of July as well! So, bring out your beach towel, BBQ some hot dogs, and stay cool indoors and watch some television!
Among the key marathons include a marathon of Last Man Standing on WGN America from 12pm-8pm. TV Land has two classic marathons, first of The Andy Griffith Show from 9am-2pm and then M*A*S*H from 2pm-8pm. Of course it wouldn't be the 4th of July without a Twilight Zone marathon but Syfy isn't doing one...but Decades is! Decades will run the marathon starting at 7am. Comedy Central will showcase South Park all day from 9am-11pm. MTV2 will have a Wayans Bros. marathon from 2pm-3am. Centric will have A Different World marathon from 10am-6pm. ASPIRE has a Bernie Mac marathon from 8am-1am. TV One has a marathon of Empire today from 8am-2am. POP has a Beverly Hills, 90210 marathon today from 10am-6pm. USA Network has a NCIS marathon from 6am-10pm. Oxygen has a Chicago P.D. marathon from 9am-10pm. ION Television has a Blue Bloods marathon from 11am-3am. Logo doesn't have a marathon, but they have a bunch of sitcom blocks as usual beginning at 6am with The Facts of Life, Mama's Family and The Golden Girls.
Other marathons of note, Walker, Texas Ranger 24-hour marathon on getTV starting at 6am. TBS gets Wrecked from 3-8pm, while Starz Black has a Survivor's Remorse marathon. IFC has a National Lampoon's movie marathon from 3pm-6am. AMC has a Jaws movie franchise marathon starting at 11:30am. If you want laughs, E! has a Meet the Parents franchise movie marathon. FX has a Captain America movies marathon. The docuseries America: The Story of Us re-creates the nation's history, from rebellion to millennium on History. And if you're into reality TV, we have a The Real Housewives Of Orange County marathon starting at 6am on Bravo and a American Chopper marathon on Discovery Channel.
Firweworks in primetime are on NBC (Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular) from 8-10pm (with an abbreviated encore at 10pm). PBS has a A Capitol Fourth hosted again by John Stamos, live from Washington D.C. at 8pm. Bring out your lawn chair, throw some burgers on the BBQ, and watch some television!
