Week 15 TV Ratings and Analysis; How the Sitcoms Did

2016-17 Week 15 TV Ratings (first three nights Mon-Wed; Thu still prelim): 

Households: #1. CBS 3.67/7 rating/share (-10% in rating from first four nights week 14); #2. NBC  2.39/4 (-55%); #3. ABC 2.09/4 (-13%); #4. Fox 1.19/1 (-11%); #5. The CW 0.49/1 (-4%).
Total Viewers: #1. CBS 5.847 million (-8% from first four nights week 14); #2. NBC 3.625 million (-57%); #3. ABC 3.400 million (-12%); #4. Fox 1.893 million (-10%); #5. The CW 0.789 million (-2%).
Adults 18-49: #1. CBS 0.84/3 rating/share (-13% in rating from first four nights week 14); #2. ABC 0.83/3 (-11%); #3. NBC 0.76/3 (-60%); #4. Fox 0.49/2 (-14%); #5. The CW 0.25/1 (even)

We have previous week's final ratings, Week 14 (12/19/16-12/25/16, LIVE+SD). NBC won the week in A18-49, boosted by two primetime NFL games, and did a 2.22 rating.  ABC was #2 with a 0.86 rating. CBS was #3 with a 0.76 rating, while Fox did just a 0.65 rating.  Among total viewers, NBC was also #1 with 9.003 million, with CBS #2 at 5.196  million.  ABC was #3 with 3.639 and Fox at #4 with only 2.189 million.

For season to-date (9/19/16-12/28/16, LIVE+SD), NBC is 1 in A18-49 with a 2.28 rating, followed by Fox at #2 with a 1.70 rating, which is heavily inflated by a high 7-game World Series. CBS is  #3 with a 1.51 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.26 rating. Among total viewers it is NBC is now #1 at 8.421 million, followed by CBS at #2 with 8.328 million, as NBC is up to #1 thanks to two NFL games a week. World Series boosted Fox still at #3 with 5.512 million but ABC at #4 is catching up with 5.377 million.
