Week 3 TV Ratings and Analysis; How the Sitcoms Did

2016-17 Week 3 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu): 

Households: #1. CBS 6.03/10 rating/share (+6% in rating from first four nights week 2); #2. NBC 4.68/8 (-8%); #3. ABC 4.62/8 (+4%); #4. Fox 2.86/5 (+3%); #5. The CW 0.90/2 (+48%).
Total Viewers: #1. CBS 9.690 million (+6% from first four nights week 2); #2. NBC 7.430 million (-9%); #3. ABC 7.080 million (+3%); #4. Fox 4.600 million (+2%); #5. The CW 1.460 million (+49%).
Adults 18-49: #1. CBS 2.27/8 rating/share (+33% in rating from first four nights week 2); #2. NBC  1.76/6 (-17%); #3. ABC 1.52/5 (-4%); #4. Fox 1.44/5 (-3%); #5. The CW 0.48/2 (+71%)

We have previous week's final ratings, Week 2 (9/26-10/2/16, LIVE+SD). NBC won the week in A18-49, thanks to Sunday Night Football for the finish and did a 2.33 rating.  Fox jumped to #2 thanks to a NFL overrun, with a 1.64 rating. ABC was #3 with a 1.62 rating, helped by a great Saturday football showing, while CBS was sports-less and #4 with a 1.39 rating.  Among total viewers, CBS was #1 with 8.478 million, with NBC #2 at 8.040 million.  ABC was #3 with 6.311 million and Fox at #4 with 4.771 million.

For season to-date (9/19/16-10/6/16, LIVE+SD), NBC is #1 in A18-49 with a 2.29 rating, followed by CBS at #2 with a 2.01 rating. ABC at #3 with a 1.48 rating and Fox at #4 with a 1.43 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS #1 at 9.842 million, followed by NBC at #2 with 8.210 million, ABC at #3 with 6.270 million and Fox at #4 with 4.262 million.
