- If it seems like a very odd show to revive, that is because it is, but NBC is looking at potentially bringing back Will & Grace for a limited 10 episode run. (Hollywood Reporter)
- Raven-Symone announced she was leaving The View this week, but she has a pretty good reason for leaving, as it seems she will be going back to her That's So Raven roots with a sequel to that series on The Disney Channel. (Deadline)
- In case you want to go ahead and skip past Halloween and Thanksgiving, Hallmark has already started their nonstop Christmas movies , which will last into the new year. (Yahoo! TV)
- While he'll be spending the actual evening of Election Day on Showtime, Stephen Colbert is going to be live on CBS both the night before and the night after. (Deadline)
- Even though this year's live winter musical Hairspray Live! isn't airing for over another month, NBC is continuing their tradition by already preparing for their winter musical for next year, with a version of Bye Bye Birdie starring Jennifer Lopez. (Playbill)
- Sundance is bringing some classic TV favorites to their lineup. (SitcomsOnline)

- The Middle is moving forward on DVD thanks to Warner Archive, with The Middle - The Complete Seventh Season on November 15.
- The fourth season of Lou Grant has been announced, with a scheduled release date of February 21.
TUESDAY (NOVEMBER 1) HOME MEDIA RELEASE
- The IT Crowd - The Complete Series (DVD, $59.98): The British comedy, which has tried to inspire an American counterpart and failed (although it is reportedly being looked into again), arrives in one box set in this release from MPI.

Claim to Fame: This weekend, we have something a little different, but for Halloween weekend, it seems appropriate: a dead man. Specifically, the dead man is Alfred Hitchcock, though the Twitter account isn't actually is (he died decades before Twitter was a thing), but rather the account of his estate. Of course, he is known as one of the greatest directors of all times and considered the "Master of Suspense." He directed many movies, many of which can be seen this time of the year, but to his TV fans, he brought us Alfred Hitchcock Presents, as well as the follow-up series, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. His legacy has lived on long beyond his death, and there will actually be more to come in the form of an upcoming cable anthology series which will bear his name.
