SitcomsOnline Digest: New Projects From Hazy Mills and John Stamos; Antenna TV Announces New 2017 Sitcoms

- NBC has bought a new family comedy from Suzanne Martin and Hazy Mills, the same studio that brought series such as Hot in Cleveland, Crowded, and others to television. (Deadline)
- It wasn't that long ago that we were talking about James Burrows directing his 1000th episode of a TV series, and now Pam Fryman is approaching her 500th episode as a director. (Deadline)
- John Stamos is on board as executive producer for a somewhat unusual drama about being a soap opera star in the 1980s. (People)
- Antenna TV is adding nine new sitcoms to their lineup in 2017, including some that haven't been seen in syndication for several years. (SitcomsOnline)

- 2 Broke Girls - The Complete Fifth Season (DVD, $24.98): The fifth season of the CBS sitcom arrives on DVD in this release.
- Family Matters - The Complete Eighth Season (DVD, $29.99): Urkel and the rest return in this release, consisting of the final season of the ABC years (the series moved to CBS in the ninth season) of the series, from Warner Archive.
- Modern Family - The Complete Season 7 (DVD, $39.98): The ABC sitcom returns to DVD with the most recent season in this release.
