Sitcom Stars Join Dancing with the Stars Season 22; NBC Summer 2016 Tentpoles Return
The celebrity cast of Dancing with the Stars are slipping into their ballroom shoes and getting ready for their first dance on Monday, March 21 from 8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT, on the ABC Television Network. The 22nd season's lineup of celebrity dancers includes sitcom stars from Full House & The Facts of Life, a multi-platinum selling recording artist, a Peabody Award winner, a UFC fighter, Super Bowl 50's MVP, and a star from The O.C. to name a few. As announced yesterday on ABC's Good Morning America, the celebrities with their professional partners heading to the ballroom this season (in alphabetical order) are:

· Antonio Brown (NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers) with Sharna Burgess
· Nyle DiMarco (America's Next Top Model) with Peta Murgatroyd
· Kim Fields (The Facts of Life, The Real Housewives of Atlanta) with Sasha Farber
· Doug Flutie (former NFL quarterback) with Karina Smirnoff
· Marla Maples with Tony Dovolani
· Von Miller (NFL's Denver Broncos) with Witney Carson
· Wanya Morris (Boyz II Men) with Lindsay Arnold
· Geraldo Rivera (TV host) with Edyta Sliwinska
· Jodie Sweetin (Full House, Fuller House) with Keo Motsepe
· Paige VanZant (UFC fighter) with Mark Ballas
· Ginger Zee (GMA Meteorologist) with Valentin Chmerkovskiy
Two of the highest-rated and talked-about summer series - America's Got Talent and American Ninja Warrior - have set their season premiere dates. America's Got Talent, the #1 most-watched alternative summer show for the past 10 years, will premiere on Tuesday, May 31 at 8-10 p.m. The series will shift back to Los Angeles this season. The heart-racing obstacle course competition series American Ninja Warrior swings back into action on Wednesday, June 1 with its two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. The series is hosted by Matt Iseman and former NFL player Akbar Gbajabiamila with Kristine Leahy serving as co-host. Original episodes air on NBC with encore presentations beginning Thursday, June 2 at 8 p.m. on Esquire Network. More news on NBC summer 2016 is still to come, so stay tuned.
