Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! This week, we have news of how NBC is planning to bring back an ABC series that ended almost two decades ago, news of more Growing Pains releases from Warner Archive, and news of several complete series sets on the way from CBS and Mill Creek. Let's get going!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM SITCOMSONLINE.COM AND AROUND THE WEB

It seems that every week, news about new pilots and remakes of old sitcoms come, and very few actually materialize... but in the midst of it all, NBC has ordered a 13 episode follow-up series to ABC's sitcom Coach, and the follow-up will again star Craig T. Nelson. (Hollywood Reporter)
If you wanted to take a road trip on Black Friday this year but would rather not leave home, then fear not: TLC has you covered as they are planning to take a 12 hour live road trip on Black Friday. (Slate)
A few months ago, we mentioned that Fox was being sued by actor Frank Sivero, as Sivero claims that the character of Louie on The Simpsons was based upon him, and it appears that Fox is fighting back. (Deadline)
NBC has set premiere dates for some of their summer and fall sitcoms. (Deadline)
It should be no surprise to anybody who watches Antenna TV that The Jeffersons and One Day at a Time are coming in April, but now, we've got the April lineup. (SitcomsOnline)

HOME MEDIA HIGHLIGHTS

It has been a while since we've heard much from Warner Archive, but it seems that they have a busy April ahead, with releases of Growing Pains, Wanda at Large, and Dr. Kildare. They also indicate that April could have another surprise or two, although that does not necessarily mean it will be a TV series.
Mill Creek has announced their May slate of releases, with The Larry Sanders Show - The Complete Series, NewsRadio - The Complete Series, and Married... With Children - Seasons 9 and 10 all coming on May 19.
CBS is moving ahead with more complete series releases, with Laverne & Shirley - The Complete Series and The Odd Couple - The Complete Series both set for release on June 16.

Who to Follow: Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit (Twitter) and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit (Twitter)

Claim to Fame: This week, we have a bit of an unconventional person to follow... actually it is two persons, because they're twins and sort of come in pairs. In fact, many may not even recognize who they are by their name, but they played the roles of Nicky and Alex, the twin sons of Jesse and Becky on the TV series Full House. Both of them are no longer little kids and are actually 24 years old. And the only claim to fame that they have as actors were their roles on Full House, neither of them did any other acting before or after the series. These days, Dylan is not completely out of the entertainment industry. In fact, he has been working as a sound effects artist, most recently in the HBO series Game of Thrones and Starz series Black Sails. Blake, on the other hand, is completely out of the entertainment industry and has taken on a decisively non-entertainment role as a firefighter in Atlanta. But what do both of them have in common? They are perfectly happy and willing to cherish their very short sitcom careers with fans on Twitter.
