TV Land Summer 2010 Details: Premiere Date for Hot in Cleveland and Launch of The Nanny; I Love Lucy May Marathon on Hallmark

TV Land kicks off the summer in a sizzling way with exciting new PRIME originals including the long-anticipated sitcom Hot in Cleveland, an unforgettable tribute to director/producer Mike Nichols, the addition of the hilarious sitcom The Nanny to the schedule and unforgettable movies. It all kicks off on Wednesday, May 5 at 10pm with the second season premiere of How'd You Get So Rich? starring the hilarious Joan Rivers. Then, on Wednesday, June 16 at 10pm, from the writer of Frasier - Suzanne Martin - and produced by Sean Hayes (Will & Grace), TV Land debuts the first scripted sitcom for the network, Hot in Cleveland starring Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick, Jane Leeves and Betty White.
On Sunday, June 27, TV Land will air an exclusive celebrity-filled soiree honoring the career of legendary filmmaker Mike Nichols – who has worked with the likes of Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks - with the TV Land Presents The AFI Life Achievement Award: Mike Nichols. On Wednesday, August 25 at 10pm, television's only modeling competition for women 35 and older returns with a new season and notable new celebrity host - Brooke Burke - and a new supermodel judge Roshumba Willliams.
Enhancing TV Land's summer original programming schedule further, TV Land welcomes the popular series The Nanny to the network starting Sunday, August 8, plus Friday night blockbuster movies get even better with movies such as Top Gun, Ghostbusters, The Firm and Sister Act. We'll have details on The Nanny in the coming months, such as if it will be leaving sister network Nick at Nite when it moves to TV Land. And we still have TV Land May 2010 highlights to give you as promised, so keep staying with us for that.
For now view the complete details on TV Land's Summer 2010 programs.

I Love Lucy didn't work on The Hallmark Channel as a regular series on the actual schedule, but it seems the classic sitcom has worked in marathons as Hallmark has scheduled another marathon! They will air the marathon on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 9am-4am...yes that is 17 straight hours of Lucy! The last time Hallmark aired a marathon was back in February on President's Day. This marathon kicks off with the episode "Fred and Ethel Fight" at 9am.
View the full episode info for this marathon and get ready to spend this Sunday with Lucy all-day!
There are no regular schedule changes in May, so expect more Martha Stewart programming from 11am-6pm every weekday and weekend mornings.
