INSP Gets Walker, Texas Ranger; ABC, Fox Mid-Season New Show Premieres

Texas-Style Justice! Walker, Texas Ranger is coming to INSP! Get ready for some karate-kicking, car-chasing action! Chuck Norris is Texas Ranger Cordell Walker, and when he zeros in on the bad guys, they won't know what hit them – literally! The Walker, Texas Ranger 12-hour Marathon kicks off Black Friday (Friday, November 28) starting at 1PM ET, as the series joins the INSP schedule. Starting December 4, Walker, Texas Ranger will air Thursdays & Fridays at 10pm & 11pm ET, part of INSP's Nightlight block. American Crime Secrets and Lies

ABC announced premiere dates for Oscar winner John Ridley's groundbreaking new drama American Crime, and gripping murder mystery Secrets and Lies, starring Ryan Phillippe and Juliette Lewis. In addition, the season finale of the hit ABC drama How to Get Away with Murder will air on Thursday, February 26 with a special two-hour finale from 9:00-11:00 PM. The 10 episode drama series Secrets and Lies premieres Sunday, March 1 with a two-hour special premiere from 9:00-11:00 PM (then it will settle to its regular time slot from 9:00-10:00 PM), and 11 episode American Crime premieres Thursday, March 5 at 10:00PM following Scandal at 9. American Crime stars Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton, W. Earl Brown, Richard Cabral, Caitlin Gerard, Benito Martinez, Penelope Ann Miller, Elvis Nolasco and Johnny Ortiz. Secrets and Lies stars Ryan Phillippe, Juliette Lewis, KaDee Strickland, Natalie Martinez, Dan Fogler, Indiana Evans and Belle Shouse. More winter/spring premiere dates for ABC are to be announced.

Empire

Meanwhile, Fox is announcing winter premiere dates for new drama Empire and the return of American Idol XIV. The reality series returns with a special, two-night, three-hour premiere event Wednesday, Jan. 7 from 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT and Thursday, Jan. 8 from 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on Fox. Featuring host Ryan Seacrest and judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. The epic family battle begins when the powerful new drama Empire debuts, with limited commercial interruption, on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 9:00 PM ET/PT, following American Idol XIV. From Academy Award nominee Lee Daniels (Lee Daniels' The Butler, Precious), Emmy Award winner Danny Strong (Game Change, Lee Daniels' The Butler) and Academy Award- and Emmy Award-winning producer Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind, 24), comes a drama about a family dynasty, set within a world of music, glamour, danger and power. Featuring music by prolific producer Timbaland, the series stars Academy Award nominee Terrence Howard (Crash, Hustle & Flow) and Academy Award and Emmy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson (No Good Deed, Person of Interest). Additional Fox winter/spring premiere dates and schedule details to be announced.

Frankie is stoked when Axl invites her and Mike to meet and have dinner with girlfriend Lexie’s rich parents, Tammy (Lisa Rinna) and Bennett. But Frankie is worried that their less then luxurious lifestyle may put a damper on their meeting. Meanwhile, Brick is excited to be a part of the Sophomore Slammer fundraiser, in which fellow classmates fake arrest each other and friends come to pay money – which will go to charity – to bail them out. But Brick soon discovers that no matter how hard he tries, he just can’t get arrested.

Fresh Off the Boat - "Kids" (ABC, 8:30PM ET/PT)
With the realization that Eddie is finally mature enough to be left on his own, Louis and Jessica see the light at the end of their parenting tunnel and make plans to spend more time with friends Honey and Marvin. Until their neighbors announce a plan of their own: Marvin is getting his vasectomy reversed so the couple can conceive a baby. The Huangs do their best to dissuade them.

black-ish - "Elder. Scam." (ABC, 9:00PM ET/PT)
Ruby gets scammed and Dre begins to suspect that she isn’t as sharp as she used to be, particularly because she was the one who used to scam other people. Zoey’s friend Aaron visits and Diane develops an instant crush on him.

The Mayor - "Buyer's Remorse" (ABC, 9:30PM ET/PT)
As Courtney settles into his new role as mayor, he’s faced with a dismal approval rating as the citizens of Fort Grey express their lack of confidence in his ability to lead, as well as those on his own staff. He realizes that he needs to take an unconventional approach when dealing with Councilman Ed Gunt (David Spade) and comes up with a plan to quickly turn public opinion in his favor.

The Mick - "The Haunted House" (Fox, 9:00PM ET/PT)
Mickey and Jimmy organize a special Halloween party at their mansion, but the party soon goes awry; Sabrina hopes to further her legacy with the party; Mickey becomes determined to give a group of practical jokers a lesson.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine - "Halloveen" (Fox, 9:30PM ET/PT)
When the fifth annual Nine-Nine Halloween Heist begins, everybody scrambles to make a plan to come out on top of the competition, which tests various friendships and relationships as they struggle to earn the title of "Amazing Human Slash Genius."
