Nick at Nite October 2009; Encore Westerns Re-Acquires Gunsmoke, Travel, Rawhide

October has just started and Nick at Nite has released their October 2009 schedule. There aren't any regular schedule changes, so the same changes from September will carry over into October. There will be a George Lopez marathon this Sunday (October 4) from 9pm-4am. Leading into the marathon will be George's movie Mr. Troop Mom from 7pm-9pm, so it's an all George night! Episodes airing for the marathon are "Love Bites," "Charity," "Team Leader," "Long Time No See," "Sabes Quake," "George Takes a Stroll Down Memory Pain," "George Buys a Vow," "George Watcha's Out For Jason," "George's Grand Slam," "George Needs Anchor Management," "George Vows to Make Some Matri-Money," "George Discovers How Mescal-ed Up His Life Would Have Been Without the Benny-Fits," "George's House Has Two Empty Wombs," and "George Nieces a New Media Room."
Also in October you can catch new episodes of original animated comedy Glenn Martin, DDS every Monday at 8pm.
View and discuss the Nick at Nite October 2009 highlights.

Encore Westerns has acquired the rights to air several classic Western series from CBS TV Distribution. They have acquired Gunsmoke, Have Gun Will Travel and Rawhide. Black and white episodes of Gunsmoke will return to Encore Westerns in January (TV Land has the other package still), with Have Gun Will Travel and Rawhide airing sometime next year.
Fans were devastated when Gunsmoke went off the channel four long years ago, so they decided to re-acquire it! Currently Encore Westerns airs Maverick, Cheyenne, The Gene Autry Show, Bret Maverick, Cimarron Strip, and The Magnificent Seven. Stay with us for more on this!
