BUZZR's Love Is on the Air All Week; Guest Stars Galore on the Upcoming American Born Chinese

American Born Chinese

The Disney+ Original series American Born Chinese the genre-hopping action-comedy based on the graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen-Yang, just released a new teaser announcing its powerhouse roster of guest stars. The series, from Disney Branded Television and produced by 20th Television, debuts this spring on Disney+. American Born Chinese tells the story of Jin Wang, an average teenager juggling his high school social life with his home life. When he meets a new foreign student on the first day of the school year, even more worlds collide as Jin is unwittingly entangled in a battle of Chinese mythological gods.

The coming-of-age adventure features an all-star international cast, including Academy® Award-Nominees and Golden Globe winners Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Ben Wang (Chang Can Dunk), two-time International Emmy® Award nominee Yeo Yann Yann (Wet Season), Chin Han (Mortal Kombat), Daniel Wu (Reminiscence), former Taekwondo champion Jimmy Liu and Sydney Taylor (Just Add Magic). Introducing audiences to a pantheon of iconic Chinese mythical characters, are guest stars Ronny Chieng as unconventional monk, Ji Gong; Jimmy O. Yang as Dragon King, Ao Guang; James Hong as Jade Emperor; Leonard Wu as Niu Mowang/Bull Demon, who join previously announced guest stars Academy® Award nominee Stephanie Hsu as Shiji Niangniang, the Goddess of Stones; and Poppy Liu as Princess Iron Fan. The series also welcomes Lisa Lu as soon-to-be retired acupuncturist Ni Yang and Rosalie Chiang as student activist Suzy Nakamura.

The Newlywed Game Coming to BUZZR; Nick Renews Tyler Perry's Young Dylan for Season 3

The Honeymoon phase has ended, but the best is about to begin on BUZZR with The Newlywed Game! This game show treasure has officially said "I Do" to the retro network's lineup. Who doesn't love couple vs. couple rivalry at its finest?! Tune-in starting Monday, Nov. 15 at 9:30pm EST. Settle down on the sofa and grab your husband, wife, special someone, best bud or furry friend and watch as four couples (each married less than two years) compete for prizes by answering provocative questions leading to surprising answers about their relationship – revealing just how well they really know each other. And prepare to be surprised... BUZZR will be kicking-off the run with Season 2 of The Newlywed Game (1997) hosted by the legendary Bob Eubanks, then airing episodes from Season 3 and Season 1. The network will also be running an extra special Maternity Day episode in which all playing couples are "expecting" a little one! If this isn't a game show match made in heaven, then what is?

This is the first time in 20 years these episodes are airing on TV! Other times viewers can watch starting on Tuesday, Nov. 16 are as follows:

Sundays at 4:00pm and 4:30pm EST

Tyler Perry's Young Dylan

Nickelodeon announced that it has greenlit a 20-episode third season of its hit live-action sitcom Tyler Perry's Young Dylan. The series follows a family whose world is turned upside down when their nephew, hip-hop mogul-in-training Dylan (Dylan Gilmer), moves in unannounced. The season will begin production early next year at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta. The third season of Tyler Perry's Young Dylan will follow Dylan as he continues his pursuit of stardom, while getting his family into hilarious hijinks along the way. Accompanying him in his quest for music greatness are his uncle Myles (Carl Anthony Payne II), aunt Yasmine (Mieko Hillman), grandmother Viola (Aloma Lesley Wright), cousins Rebecca (Celina Smith) and Charlie (Hero Hunter), and Rebecca's best friend Bethany (Jet Miller). In 3Q21, Tyler Perry's Young Dylan ranked as the #1 live-action program on Cable among kids 6-11 and was the top-rated show across all TV among Black kids 6-11. New episodes of Tyler Perry's Young Dylan currently air on Nickelodeon on Thursdays at 7 p.m. (ET/PT), with the season two finale scheduled to air Thursday, Dec. 9.
