It's official: a Scrubs reboot is in the works at ABC, but hopefully it won't be as bad as the last time when ABC aired Scrubs, when they took what was a beloved NBC series and turned it into something that fans didn't recognize. (Hollywood Reporter)
In what is probably a surprise to nobody (given that the network didn't really want to give up the series anyway, and also given that FXX, the network it moved to, is rapidly disappearing from cable lineups these days), Family Guy is finally returning to Adult Swim in January, though it will continue to air on FXX and Comedy Central. Julie Bowen has a new comedy series in development at NBC. (Deadline)
If you want to be a cast member on Saturday Night Live, your starting salary will be around $3000 an episode, which isn't exactly poverty wages, but less than you'd expect for being a cast member on a nationally broadcast TV show. (Variety)
