82nd Golden Globe Nominations; Michelle Buteau: A Buteau-ful Mind at Radio City Music Hall

The 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards nominations are out, as the TV side was paced by FX's The Bear with five nominations. Hulu's Only Murders in the Building and Shogun each had 4 nominations, Other television nominations include first-time series such as Nobody Wants This, Baby Reindeer, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story as well as returning contenders like Abbott Elementary and Hacks. The Globes was one of the first organizations to salute both film and TV work. Over the years, Globes voters have become known for early recognition of new series, such as Mad Men and Desperate Housewives. Netflix earned 23 television nominations, followed by Max with 14 and FX/Hulu with 10 (15 total if you combine FX/Hulu & Hulu). Selena Gomez, Quinta Brunson, Ayo Edebiri, Kristen Bell, Ali Wong, Jean Smart, and Ted Danson are among this year's television nominees. The 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place January 5, 2025, at the Beverly Hilton, its home since 1961. The three-hour ceremony will air live on CBS, streamed on Paramount+ and be available on the CBS app, starting at 5 p.m. PT (8-11 p.m. ET). Multi-Emmy Award®-winning producing duo Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Entertainment (WCE) will return as executive producing showrunners.

Herstory will be made y'all: Michelle Buteau: A Buteau-ful Mind at Radio City Music Hall premieres globally December 31, only on Netflix. As the first female comic to record a special at the iconic Radio City Music Hall, Buteau returns to Netflix for her second comedy special. Celebrate the New Year right as Buteau reflects on motherhood, marriage, and more. Her previous special, Michelle Buteau: Welcome to Buteaupia (2020), won a Critics Choice Award for Best Comedy Special.
