  • A premiere date for the fourth season of One Day at a Time has been set. (Deadline)
  • Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been renewed for an eighth season. (Variety)
  • Cable deals for series don't get nearly as much attention as they used to, but Viacom will have the rights to Parks and Recreation through 2024. (TVLine)
  • Disney+ launched this week, and one thing that fans were unhappy with was the aspect ratio of The Simpsons, but there is a plan to fix that next year. (The Verge)
  • The sand might be running out of the hourglass, as it was reported this week that the entire cast of Days of Our Lives, one of the only four remaining daytime soap operas (and the only one remaining on NBC), has been released from their contract. (New York Times)
  • Antenna TV has a solid lineup of Christmas programming coming on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. (SitcomsOnline)

  • Decades continues with another week of superheroes for their binge this weekend, with Batman.
  • It's hard to believe that it's already that time of the year, but MeTV starts their A Very Merry MeTV Sunday block tomorrow at 5:00 PM, although featuring Thanksgiving episodes of classic series for the first two weeks
  • For those who get cable from Spectrum (the child of the merger between Charter and Time Warner Cable), the reboot/revival of Mad About You debuts on Wednesday.
